My Husband and I couldn’t be happier that we chose Waterview Vancouver as the Venue for our Wedding Ceremony and Reception. Due to our guest list size (170), we were unable to host our cocktail hour at the venue, as the room needed to be flipped by the Venue and Our Decorist Teams. Fortunately, Ancora Restaurant is a mere 20 steps away, so we were able to host our cocktail hour session there and it worked out perfectly!

Having worked closely with Jennifer Garcia (Culinary Capers Event Planner) and Stephanie Denner (Waterview Venue Sales Manager) throughout our wedding planning process, we were very pleased with their quick responses to our emails and really appreciated their ability to accommodate many of our preferences/asks (ex. rehearsal time later in the evening, allowing us to pick up decor after our wedding, last minute menu add-ons, etc.).

Waterview Vancouver is located at, arguably, one of the best locations possible in downtown Vancouver, facing False Creek and Granville Island. It truly is a hidden gem! My husband and I wanted an intimate wedding atmosphere that had a lot of windows for natural light (i.e. not a typical Vancouver Hotel, without any windows); Waterview Vancouver was just exactly that! We had only visited the venue during the daytime and, quite frankly, the visits during the daytime does not do the venue justice for the evening & sunset ambiance! During the evening of our Wedding, as guests were enjoying their meals and speeches were being made, the pink horizon while the sun was setting truly set the perfect tone for our evening.

Additionally, we were also extremely pleased with the food prepared by Culinary Capers Catering (the exclusive caterer for the venue). We received so many compliments about how delicious the food was at our wedding, and in particular, how the beef entree option was cooked to perfection. As entrees were served during the night, my Husband and I were busy taking photos and talking to guests, our main point of contact, Jennifer (Culinary Capers Event Planner), offered to put our food aside to keep it warm for us - it was extremely considerate and we are so happy she did that for us as we were able to enjoy it once we had a moment for ourselves. We also added a poutine bar, as a late night option, for our guests and it was just the perfect touch for the end of the night.

My Husband and I are so happy with choosing Waterview Vancouver for our big day and we would definitely recommend this location to anybody looking for a wedding venue (or really, any other big events!) that has a beautiful view, delicious food and wonderful service team.

Waterview was such an amazing venue! The staff were extremely accommodating to all our needs, even ones that’s they weren’t used to fulfilling and you honestly cannot have a better view!! Incredible venue and very versatile. The food was so delicious!! We new after our tasting that we would not be disappointed and all our guests still rave about it 6 months after. Waterview made everything so easy for us and truly helped make our day the best day ever.
