More than the beautiful lakeside ceremony site, gazebo, clubhouse, gourmet food, and stunning grounds, I would highly recommend The Okanagan Golf Club as a wedding venue for their incredible staff. Karin & Kaitlyn, in particular, were aboslutely fantastic! I honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful they were! They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. We were so impressed with how knowledgable, attentive, caring, and fun they were. They anticipated our needs, were flexible, and had great attention to detail. Karin always put my mind at ease during our planning sessions and Kaitlyn went out of her way to make sure everything looked perfect for our reception. From start to finish, they made the experience stupendous!

From start to finish our experience planning and hosting a wedding at the Okanagan Golf Club was everything we could have ever dreamed of and more. Communication with their event manager Karin was excellent. She always responded to our inquiries in a very timely manner (usually the same day) and was so helpful in every aspect of planning, whether it was our floor plan, food and drink menu choices, coordinating with outside vendors or offering local recommendations since we are from out of town she went above and beyond to make sure the planning process was a breeze! Due to some construction (which is now complete) we chose the gazebo ceremony location nestled in the pine tree's and it was stunning! The dramatic long walkway marked with flower urns they provided offered the perfect entrance for the bridal party. They also supplied all the drapery on the gazebo and two large wine barrels with beautiful white flowers sitting on top. One of our favourite features of this venue was the private patio area right outside the reception space that we were able to use throughout the evening, it was perfect for cocktail hour! After dinner we headed out to the driving range as the sun set. It was such a unique experience that our guests loved (and still talk about) and made for some amazing photos. The supplied golf carts made it easy for the bridal party to get around for photos and since we didn't use the pond ceremony site we were able to use it for our first look and photos which made for a beautiful backdrop. We were able to come to Kelowna the month before our wedding for hair and makeup trials and Karin accommodated a food tasting for us which was so great and helped us make our final menu choices. All of the staff we interacted with were so kind and the bartenders did such an amazing job all night (they were very busy lol). We were the only wedding booked that weekend so we were able to drop decor items off the day prior and pick them up the following day which was greatly appreciated and made things so much easier on us. As an out of town couple it felt like we were in a little resort bubble since we and our family/friends were able to book accommodations in the condos surrounding the gold courses and the hotels just down the street (which also offered a special rate through the gold course). After everything was said and done Karin mailed us 4 golf passes since we weren't able to golf prior to our wedding. We just used them this past weekend actually (a year after the wedding) and Karin arranged our tee times and it was seamless checking in at the pro shop. Overall, I cannot recommend Karin and the Okanagan Golf Club enough for your wedding or any event you need to host. Also, an added bonus is the fact that the clubhouse has now been renovated and looks absolutely amazing! We are so excited to have such a lovely venue we plan on returning to for many anniversaries. The Okanagan Gold Club holds a special place in our hearts.

If I could get married here again, I sooo would. Karin and the staff of Okanagan Golf Club were absolutely amazing, accommodating, and helpful. Whenever I had a question or concerns, they were there to help answer it or resolve it. They offer two beautiful ceremony sites. We chose the secluded pond site, which was absolutely breathtaking and everything I had imagined I would have for my ceremony. And that wasn’t even the big selling point for us, it was access to the driving range that truly set the Okanagan Golf Club apart. It still blows my mind that, after checking out multiple golf course venues, this was the only one that offered access to the driving range and golf course. Absolutely remarkable and so fortunate that we found this venue!!!

They made me feel like a princess all day on our special day, and my husband felt the same. With their most recent renovations, I expect them to be much busier, and I am so happy for them because they truly deserve it. If any of my friends or family need a venue for anything, I will always send them to the Okanagan Golf Club! If you want a memorable venue and experience that your guests will talk about for weeks after the celebration, go to the Okanagan Golf Club!!!! Already mentally planning my vow renewal here! Haha!! We were blown away by everything Okanagan Golf Club had to offer for our wedding! Nicole and her team were absolutely amazing all day.
We had our entire wedding planned March 2020 right before the COVID pandemic was announced. Throughout this entire time, our communication with Nicole was top-notch. She was constantly communicating the new changes as BC's reopening plans were updating, and she was able to provide us with a baseline on how 2020 weddings ran to give us an idea of what we might expect for ours. We were extremely lucky to have a venue that could host an outdoor dance floor, and for this reason we were able to host a dance at our reception.
The venue has extra decorations that we were welcome to use - from table runners and table cloths in different colours, multiple different flower vase shapes and sizes, different tea light designs, and dessert display platters - we took advantage of it by using their burgundy table runners, the tea lights and flower vases for our center pieces.
A nice perk was that our booking includes 2 rounds of golf and carts, and that our wedding party was able to zip around on golf carts to get around and take photos throughout the golf course. Nicole even provided clubs for our guests to take advantage of the driving range during cocktail hour!
The ceremony site includes seasonal flowers and drapery, which really takes the pressure off some of the decor planning. They also have benches for rent, which we took advantage of! The buffet and dessert received high praise from all of our guests and we were extremely happy with the options available during the planning stage. While we had a 30-person wedding due to COVID, Nicole's floor planning made the space welcoming and warm. There were so many small details that Nicole provided, and these really made us feel special and taken care of. We would happily book another large event with Nicole and her team at Okanagan Golf Club!

Okanagan Golf Club is a very beautiful and unique wedding venue! The staff are extremely accommodating, which is not always the case for golf course venues. There are many incredible backdrops to choose from as well as at least two ceremony sites. Nicole Oaten is absolutely wonderful to work with as the wedding coordinator. She is prompt to respond and it is clear that she is passionate about her couples. We highly recommend Okanagan Golf Club as a wedding venue, and as a golf course! Incredible people, stunning venue, and amazing atmosphere!

The Okanagan Golf Club was the perfect choice for our wedding day. We did both our ceremony and reception at the club and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Nicole is an extreme helpful, responsive, and lovely person! She went above and beyond our expectations and helped us with even the smallest details. 12/10 recommend!

The venue was great and food was wonderful, however, we were billed WAY too late and many issues with the invoice. Didn’t hear replies and still haven’t received our funds back after numerous attempts to contact them. Very unprofessional after the wedding.

After reading some of the other reviews I agree that there were some issues with communication, both before and after our wedding. Since our wedding the lead coordinator has changed and with one quick email to the new lead our issue was resolved. Other than communication everything was amazing! The food was beyond delicious and very well priced. I can't rave enough about the two ladies who ran our event, Emily and Karen. They basically set up and took down everything. Our wedding was perfect and I would absolutely recommend chosing this location for your wedding.
