Welcome to Old Mill. We are located in Toronto’s beautiful and lush West End. Offering many venue spaces within our luxurious Victorian property. We pride ourselves on inclusive and exceptional service. Old Mill Toronto boasts both elegant indoor and manicured outdoor settings. Our venue’s Catering Executive team would be delighted to assist couples to make the most out of their chosen space with extensive catering menus, an on-site chapel and flower shoppe.

Facilities and Capacity

Old Mill Toronto is a destination located right in the heart of residential West-End Toronto. With over 20,000 sq ft and 16 unique event spaces, choose from rooms that can house up to 400 guests or as intimate as 10 guests.

Let the light shine in through soaring windows in our Guildhall. Guildhall is an indoor/outdoor space that lets guests take in the fresh air all while dancing the night away! This space is intended for medium to large weddings. Guildhalls mahogany wood floors, panelled ceilings and burgundy silk wallpaper make for the perfect space for those who enjoy lavish decor.

Located on our first floor, the Brûlé Rooms takes pride in its’ capacity to impress. An exposed brick fireplace, considerable seating, and dancing space makes this room perfect for an indoor event. Partner with our flower shoppe to decorate the space with luxurious florals and greenery for an added touch.

Named after Queen Victoria, the Victoria Room is one of our more cozy rooms, perfect for intimate events. The Victoria room offers up endless English charm and exudes a sense of prestige and romance.

We also offer Whirlwind Weddings, our newest package! This is a pop-up style micro-wedding that has set dates!

Services Offered

The Old Mill’s team can organize events of all scales. Choose from packages and services that include, but are not limited to, open bars, macaroon towers, tiered cakes, served or buffet style eating, High Tea and many other enhancements that can be added to our packages for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Dinner or High Tea.

The Catering Executive and their team will help couples get the space prepared and decorate. Catering can be provided by the on-site restaurant. The management can share their list of preferred vendors with couples, making organizing events that much easier. We look forward to hearing your vision and bringing your big day to life at Old Mill Toronto!

    Wonderful!!

    From start to finish we experienced nothing but the best. Rebecca was our wedding director. She was sooooo sweet and ensured every detail was taken care of. We had a lot of hiccups while planning, on my side especially I had a lot of people who were covid cautious and I wanted to try to make people feel as comfortable as possible. Rebecca really helped with this as she tried to meet our needs as much as possible. We were also able to set up the day before which was just PERFECT! I was so excited that I was able to set up and was able to see the room before anyone else did. The Officiant Mark was so nice and such a sweet person, we had a zoom meeting with him before hand and met him in person the day of our wedding, he was nothing but sweet and guided us throughout the ceremony and made us feel comfortable and confident (as you can get super nervous speaking in front of people). The day of the wedding is always chaotic but our wedding day captain was a DREAM! Dimitri was wonderful to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly. I had a super long veil and he helped me up the stairs with it and into the chapel! If you're considering the Old Mill do not hesitate. Everyone here is wonderful and such a breeze to work with and really works as a team! Thank you Rebecca, Mark, Dimitri and everyone who helped us achieve our dream day!

    Incredible Venue & Coordinator

    Our wedding coordinator was Rebecca Middleton and she was absolutely amazing. She arranged everything for us perfectly and I am thrilled with her service. Further to this, the venue is gorgeous! I am so happy the chapel is in the venue and with the way the team set up our reception room. We were in Brûlée Room A and it was simply gorgeous. The only thing is the hotel. I loveeeee the hotel and it is ENTIRELY separate from the venue (business wise). The hotel manager is probably the rudest person I’ve ever had the misfortune of speaking to. She refused to allow my father to check in early. She yelled at me, interrupted me repeatedly and I simply had to reach out to HER bosses to arrange an early check in for my sick father. She should be ashamed of herself. Colleen Ross almost made myself and my husband’s family cancel our hotel reservations. If it wasn’t for Ms. Ross’ boss assisting us and Rebecca’s amazing service to help us deal with Ms. Ross, we likely would have stayed at another hotel. I will say that Ms. Ross’ boss went above and beyond and we were thrilled with our stay.

    Old Mill Wedding

    We enjoyed our wedding at the Old Mill Toronto. We got married outside and loved the space. Our room was also very beautiful. The wait staff were excellent and we enjoyed our day.

    Great service & beautiful ambiance

    This location is beautiful and has everything we needed to make our wedding day special! They have many options for party sizes, a beautiful chapel for the ceremony, a gorgeous garden, and hallways for photos.

    We initially hired the Old Mill Toronto in November 2019 for our wedding date that was then scheduled for October 2020. Since we have a lot of international family and everything was so uncertain with COVID-19, we moved our wedding date a few times and decided to update some of the services from the contract. The venue was very responsive and gave us options for the event we could host.

    They also connected us with an amazing officiant who incorporated and personalized the ceremony for us, making it extra special!

    For our wedding day, everything was ready and beautiful. We were very happy with the service and would totally recommend people to consider the Old Mill Toronto to host their special day

    Wonderful hospitality

    We had our wedding on Aug 7, 2021, it was supposed to be outdoors originally but it started pouring 2 hours before our event. I was so upset initially when I saw the team were setting up tables inside but I am now happy looking back at that night knowing their experience and professionalism made that night the great wedding night. When the night was over P, it didn’t matter that we had it indoors, guests went home even happier than if we would have the event outdoors

    What a space!

    What a perfect space! We had started our venue shopping online, and booked 3 to look at, but cancelled the other appointments as soon as we saw the Old Mill. We knew wanted a more vintage vibe, and a chapel that could fit our wedding size (approx. 130) that would have a beautiful surrounding in late October. Having attended other events in the OM restaurant, I knew the food was consistently good, and it didn’t disappoint. While we did, unfortunately, get assigned 3 different event contacts, we are so happy that we ended up with Rebecca. She was so pleasant to work with and went above and beyond accommodating our requests. Overall, the entire premises is beautiful, and for this reason, we found that only minimal décor was required – simply to personalize the space. Each person on the staff of the venue and the hotel is so very accommodating. As expected, the food at the reception was delicious and was served so professionally with class. We were so grateful that the serving staff had kept aside a plate of hors d'oeuvres for the head table! All guests raved about the space and the food. We also hosted a brunch the next morning which, again, was fantastic. We were, however, somewhat frustrated that the OM venue operates separately from the OM hotel & restaurant, which made for additional logistics to manage at a number of points throughout the process. It would be nice if this could be smoothed out further between the two operators. It would also be nice if the hotel had tracked which of the guests staying over were for our wedding (why else ask for our contract number?) – indeed, some of our guests missed out on wedding discounts for this reason. Despite these things, we would highly recommend this venue!

    Everything Was Perfect!

    We had a Friday wedding ceremony and reception in all three of the Brûlée rooms and our day was simply amazing! From our very first meeting to our last, the entire team was a pleasure to work with. Rebecca was phenomenal: her attention to detail and her quick responses were very much appreciated. The food was fantastic (everyone was raving about it!), the venue is stunning (perfect for our 20s glam theme), and we couldn’t have asked for a better day!

    Perfect for an intimate Sunday wedding

    We just had our wedding at The Old Mill, in August 11th. For people still wondering, Sunday morning/afternoon is a great day to have a wedding. Ours was the only one that day, so no rush with the chapel, decorations or anything. People still ate, drank and danced a lot!
    From the start, we were impressed with the venue and heard a lot about their good food, which was a priority for us.
    Tamasin, our catering executive, was very accommodating throughout the process, working with us through dozens of menus and floor plans.
    We wanted a cocktail + food stations reception, which was unusual, but the venue accommodated our requests very well. The only downside to hosting this kind of reception there was that they have no tasting for the cocktail menu, so we had to just trust it. In the end, it was very good.
    We booked a room at the Hotel for the night before and the night after the wedding. Highly recommend. Made everything so much easier, the discount for the bride and groom is really good and they upgraded us to a huge suite, perfect for all the getting ready and last minute DIYs.
    Mark, the chapel Reverend, was a pleasure to work with. He accommodated our rehearsal Saturday at 2 PM (and weddings were already starting at 3 PM, they had 8 events on that Saturday) and was very patient with us and our families (who don't speak a word in English).
    Koleta, our banquet Captain, worked with us through our changing timelines (lateness always happens in a wedding) and we never felt rushed.
    Our guests loved the venue, the food (especially the scallops, lamb, brie and cappelletti with white sauce) and the drinks.
    We opted for a host bar, which was a smart choice for a Sunday. Also, we could pick and chose items from any brand.
    WE heard only good things about the servers (Luba, Kathy, and Tanya) and the bartender, Robert, who impressed everybody with his skills and great personality.
    We booked the Garden and Drawing rooms, which made sense for a group of 40. The rooms have a garden connecting them, and we were allowed to use bubbles for our entrance on the outside.
    In the end, our day went perfectly, the sun was shining, the Old Mill gardens were amazing for pictures and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Also, price was very reasonable.
