From the very beginning, every single person we have come in contact with in this company has demonstrated their commitment to excellent customer service, clear communication, and their love and appreciation for music and event planning. The portal system for requests/playlists is user friendly and convenient. We worked with Jonathon, who is someone who has clearly found his calling in being a DJ. His professionalism, friendliness, and WILDLY IMPRESSIVE problem solving skills are like no other. From our first meeting, we connected with him and knew our reception would be in good hands. He was attentive, thorough, and was genuinely dedicated to making our day the best it could be. He went the extra mile to create personalized mixes, which was just so above and beyond - we were in shock. His after hours communication via email and text was prompt and detailed. If we could rate him higher than "Excellent", we would. Even with the absolutely CHAOS that ensued prior to our ceremony due to a very unfortunate weather event/our tent vendor not doing their job properly, Jonathon (and Tim - thank you so much) pulled everything together in time for both our ceremony and reception to operate on time. We seriously cannot even begin to express our gratitude to not only Jonathon, but MacMillan as a whole. Had we chose any other DJ company, I can't imagine things would have come together the way they did. We will be actively searching for ways to leave glowing reviews everywhere we can, and have told all of our family and friends how impressed we are with the service we have received. We will absolutely be booking MacMillan (and specifically Jonathon) for any future events we are involved in. Thank you so so so much for your hard work - our day would not have been the success that it was without you.

Marc A absolutely crushed it as the DJ/MC for our wedding reception.

As an MC, Marc was invaluable, keeping the evening running on-time and smoothly. His presence and professionalism kept all of us in the wedding party calm, as we knew he was taking care of coordinating all the speeches, announcements, and games. He was able to quiet down the room quickly for each speech or announcement, as well as pump them up when necessary (wedding party entrance). He even suggested and ran this amazing shoe game, which was a hit and wildly entertaining.

Being a musician myself, hiring a professional DJ was really important, and Marc did not disappoint. His sound system and lighting were top notch (we used his sound system and wireless microphone for our speeches - which were FAR superior to the in-house system). He played all of our "must-play" songs, and picked other songs which kept the crowd on the dance floor until the very end of the night.

Finally, my band played for 1 hour after dinner, and Marc offered to help us with our sound as well. He let us connect to his speakers (far superior than our own), and mixed all our instruments/vocals to sound better than ever. He managed the levels throughout our set, and made the experience so much more enjoyable and stress free.

Ty was the best DJ. He was so responsive, played the music we asked for an incorporated his own style. He had the party going until the end of the night. Dance floor was full and everyone kept coming up to us saying how this was the best DJ they've heard in years.

Scott provided top-notch service at our wedding this weekend. His professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to making our day beyond special stood out to us and our guests. The ceremony was as smooth as jazz music thanks to Scott's perfect timing of all our ceremony tunes. Guests of all ages can't stop telling us how lovely the music was all night - from the cocktail hour to the reception to the unbelievable party that danced the night away. Scott did a phenomenal job of curating and playing a mix of songs that everyone could enjoy while also playing all our favourites!! His dedication to getting to know us before our wedding ensured our day was absolutely perfect! Our guests also RAVED about the photo booth so we want to extend a special thanks to Michelle and Lillian for ensuring the booth ran smoothly all night! We wish we could add a sixth star to this tremendous service! We cannot recommend Scott, Michelle, Lillian, and MacMillan Entertainment highly enough!

We had Ty Dj our wedding and he was great!! We had a backyard tent wedding with a couple different locations for ceremony/cocktail hour/reception. Ty set up and had music playing everywhere we wanted and played all the songs we had requested. He did a great job during the dance and played the best songs that kept people on the dance floor all night. We even had multiple guests come up to us commenting how good he was! Highly recommend!
