acMillan Entertainment deserves the highest rating possible. From the very beginning, every single person we have come in contact with in this company has demonstrated their commitment to excellent customer service, clear communication, and their love and appreciation for music and event planning. The portal system for requests/playlists is user friendly and convenient. We worked with Jonathon, who is someone who has clearly found his calling in being a DJ. His professionalism, friendliness, and WILDLY IMPRESSIVE problem solving skills are like no other. From our first meeting, we connected with him and knew our reception would be in good hands. He was attentive, thorough, and was genuinely dedicated to making our day the best it could be. He went the extra mile to create personalized mixes, which was just so above and beyond - we were in shock. His after hours communication via email and text was prompt and detailed. If we could rate him higher than "Excellent", we would. Even with the absolutely CHAOS that ensued prior to our ceremony due to a very unfortunate weather event/our tent vendor not doing their job properly, Jonathon (and Tim - thank you so much) pulled everything together in time for both our ceremony and reception to operate on time. We seriously cannot even begin to express our gratitude to not only Jonathon, but MacMillan as a whole. Had we chose any other DJ company, I can't imagine things would have come together the way they did. We will be actively searching for ways to leave glowing reviews everywhere we can, and have told all of our family and friends how impressed we are with the service we have received. We will absolutely be booking MacMillan (and specifically Jonathon) for any future events we are involved in. Josh H was wonderful to work with. Although at first a little reserved over the phone, he always remained very professional and connected with us in a couple through all forms of communication. At our wedding is where he shined, showed his true professionalism, fun and care. He connected with us at every turn as a couple, had an engaged smile on his face which was warm and welcoming and kept us on track when other vendors were falling behind without worry, which was greatly appreciated. He listened and incorporated our music selections very well and kept our guests and us entertained with a true party all night long! We also had so many compliments from our guests about how lovely and awesome of a DJ he was! Truly knows his stuff and so happy Josh could help us make our special day so magical. Big thanks to both him and Tim for all their coordination and set up of our DJ services. A very smooth and easy process leading up to our wedding day as well. Our DJ, David, was incredible to work with for our wedding reception. All of our friends and family, us included, had an absolute blast on the dance floor. David was truly a difference maker in bringing our wedding to life and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Between announcing grand entrances, helping plan the sequence of events, checking in with us throughout the night, and incorporating some unique requests, we are so thankful to have had him running the show. On top of all this, the mixing of songs was great too. Highly recommend MacMillan to anybody getting married in the GTA!MacMillan Entertainment Group's reply:

We had an amazing experience MacMillan in the wedding planning process, and with DJ Leslie at our wedding! She struck a perfect balance with her song choice, made sure that everyone at the wedding had something to dance to, and was accommodating with requests. She added a high number of unique and special touches to the day that made it perfect, and was flexible as we dealt with shifting weather throughout the evening. Just got married yesterday at The Elm Hurst Inn and Spa. Josh Hicks was our DJ , i just wanted to say he did a phenomenal job as a DJ, his music was spot on, amazing job with my ceremony music to my reception grand entrance and when he had to keep running to grab the microphone for the next speech, lighting up the dance floor after our slow dances. The whole experience was just amazing and i couldnt of done it without him. We had a nice group hug at the end and he was so nice and let us have one last song. Thank you so much Josh, Tim and the team at Macmillan entertainment group. I pray for future success at your next weddings and events!!

We had an amazing experience with DJ Mike at our wedding! We had some specific requests and preferences for our day, and he did his best to accommodate all of them. He was very easy to work with, personable, and made the planning process feel smooth and stress-free.
The music selection was great, and he did a wonderful job keeping the atmosphere fun and enjoyable throughout the evening. We really appreciated his flexibility, professionalism, and the effort he put into making our wedding special. Marc A was absolute perfection for our wedding ceremony and reception. We had clear communication from the day we booked on what was needed from us and what Marc would be providing. Email response was very quick as well which we appreciated a lot. On the wedding day, Marc showed up well in advance to have everything setup for the ceremony and reception. We had zero issues with any of the equipment, and hardly noticed it was there it looked so good. The welcome music, ceremony music, cocktail hour music and reception music was exactly what we asked for, even with customized mashup songs. The dance floor lighting was amazing, and we loved the ‘Jill & Connor ‘ monogram behind the head table. Marc kept the dance floor buzzing all night long, blended songs together very well, and always managed to fit in song requests at the perfect times. 5-stars from beginning to end, we couldn’t have asked for anything more :)
