Facilities and Capacity
Whistle Bear Golf Club features a recently renovated 40,000-square-foot clubhouse with upscale amenities. The venue offers different event spaces to host weddings of any style and size, and the exquisite grounds are perfect for photography.
The Grandview Room and Terrace has a spectacular 20-foot mirrored, vaulted ceiling with intricate wood-carved details, and gorgeous crystal chandeliers. The room is well-lit by natural lighting through the windows on two sides, and the striking fireplace draws your attention. It can accommodate up to 170 guests. There is also a private outdoor garden attached to the room.
You can celebrate an extravagant reception of up to 350 guests in the grand Forestview Room. It features 20-foot ceilings and exposed hand-carved pine beams. Experience the breathtaking views of the golf course and vistas through casement windows from the private terrace.
The Rose Room and Terrace offers beautiful views of Whistle Bear's natural landscape through the surrounding windows. The elegant 20-foot ceiling with exposed, hand-carved beams and beautiful crystal chandeliers reflects elegance and charm. It can accommodate up to 150 guests. Host your pre- and post-dinner on the private outdoor terrace that overlooks the golf course.

Whistle Bear wedding exceeded our expectations
The Garden Chapel (ceremony space) is gorgeous – we loved the indoor/outdoor feel without worrying about weather constraints. We were in the Rose Room for our reception and not only was It beautiful, but it gave us access to a private balcony, a private waterfall, and fire pits. Even though there were a few other weddings happening on the same day, we did not have any overlap at all, and it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
The food was excellent – we had many comments from our guests raving about their dinner. The drinks were flowing all night thanks to the amazing bartenders. All of the staff were friendly, professional and accommodating, but I’d like to highlight a few:
Melinda, our Sales Rep, did an impeccable job. We had numerous meetings with her throughout the wedding planning process, and she made sure to incorporate all of our feedback into the planning. She was so helpful, she always had a smile on her face, and she made sure that our dream wedding was planned to a T.
Our Day-of Coordinator Genevieve was also incredible. She made sure that we were well taken care of and made the entire day run so smoothly. She kept the wedding party happy, fed, hydrated and running on time. When my wedding dress broke right before our grand entrance, Gen chased down a sewing kit and made sure that I was stitched back in. When two of our guests got stuck at the airport and arrived at dessert time, our Maître D, Kevin, went out of his way to ensure that they were served a hot meal, including the soup and main course. We cannot be more thankful for Gen and Kevin, who went above and beyond to give us an amazing day.
I would recommend a Whistle Bear wedding to anyone – a huge thank you for the entire team for everything they did to give us a perfect wedding day.

Raylene Laub began working for Pearle Hospitality shortly after graduating from interior design and event management programs. After honing her techniques as a bartender at Cambridge Mill, her drive to learn – coupled with unmistakable interpersonal skills – led her to her role as Special Event Consultant, at Whistle Bear Golf Club and Elora Mill Hotel & Spa. She is now the Director of Sales at Whistle Bear and continues to create lasting relationships with clients whose vision she’s helped turn into a reality.
With nearly a decade in hospitality, I’ve found my true passion in weddings. My journey began as a Maitre d’ at The Pearle Hotel, where I worked closely with couples on their special day and fell in love with the details that make each wedding unique.
From there, I joined the Cambridge Mill as a Special Event Coordinator, helping couples bring their visions to life. Now, as a Special Events Consultant at Whistle Bear Golf Club, I’m part of an incredible team dedicated to creating unforgettable celebrations.
