Whistle bear blew us away.. everything was exactly how we pictured and more! Melinda was our coordinator she was very knowledgeable and assuring everything would run smoothly the day of and she wasn't wrong! From the moment we got to the venue for the ceremony, to cocktail hour, reception and the FOOD!! AMAZING. It was honestly the perfect day.. still in aw. We didn't have one complaint, and everyone is still talking about our wedding to this day. Thank you so much for everything your staff did for us! If your planning a wedding I can assure you this venue is the right choice.

Whistle Bear wedding exceeded our expectations
My husband and I got married on October 4th and we could not say enough good things about our experience at Whistle Bear; they exceeded our expectations.
The Garden Chapel (ceremony space) is gorgeous – we loved the indoor/outdoor feel without worrying about weather constraints. We were in the Rose Room for our reception and not only was It beautiful, but it gave us access to a private balcony, a private waterfall, and fire pits. Even though there were a few other weddings happening on the same day, we did not have any overlap at all, and it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
The food was excellent – we had many comments from our guests raving about their dinner. The drinks were flowing all night thanks to the amazing bartenders. All of the staff were friendly, professional and accommodating, but I’d like to highlight a few:
Melinda, our Sales Rep, did an impeccable job. We had numerous meetings with her throughout the wedding planning process, and she made sure to incorporate all of our feedback into the planning. She was so helpful, she always had a smile on her face, and she made sure that our dream wedding was planned to a T.
Our Day-of Coordinator Genevieve was also incredible. She made sure that we were well taken care of and made the entire day run so smoothly. She kept the wedding party happy, fed, hydrated and running on time. When my wedding dress broke right before our grand entrance, Gen chased down a sewing kit and made sure that I was stitched back in. When two of our guests got stuck at the airport and arrived at dessert time, our Maître D, Kevin, went out of his way to ensure that they were served a hot meal, including the soup and main course. We cannot be more thankful for Gen and Kevin, who went above and beyond to give us an amazing day.
I would recommend a Whistle Bear wedding to anyone – a huge thank you for the entire team for everything they did to give us a perfect wedding day. -

My new husband and I, along with our family and friends, were blown away by the quality of service the WB staff provided. I was surprised to see how many people on the WB team were helping out the day of, which made everything run so smoothly from start to finish. There were no hiccups, and everyone was amazed by the beauty of the venue as well as the food served! So many options, even for the guests with dietary restrictions. There were special touches too, like a bottle of champagne in the bridal suite and a gorgeous set of engraved steak knives. They even got us "to-go" cocktails and appetizers during the transition from ceremony to couple photos on the property. We have to give a special shout-out to Genevieve, our maitre D - she hustled hard all day long and all while wearing a big smile on her face. Thank you so much, Gen!!! We also liked how we were able to set up our decor the day before, since there was no event that day, which saved us a lot of time. Our package came with an officiant, Ian, which was very convenient for us - he was lovely. The staff helped us pack everything up in the last half hour, around 1:00 am, which was so kind and helpful. I ultimately chose this place (without ever visiting, since I was in another province!) for the garden chapel and it exceeded my expectations... It truly is such a beautiful space to get married. Also a big thank you to Sabrina who coordinated and planned our big day for us. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they've been to, and I'd have to agree!! We just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who took part in orchestrating what is undoubtedly the very best day of our lives so far. I had very high expectations for this celebration and could not be happier with how everything turned out. The Whistle Bear experience truly blew us away. My every expectation was exceeded, and the day could not have been more perfect. Our guests are still raving about our venue and planning, the incredible food and signature drinks, and all the hard work Whistle Bear staff did to make this day a picture-perfect one.
I particularly want to thank all the serving staff who served tables professionally, in a timely manner and paying particular attention to food restrictions, as well as the personable bar staff, and anyone else who was there on our wedding day helping everything unfold so seamlessly. A huge thank you to Riley, our assigned wedding day concierge, who made sure our every request was answered, and for her extremely professional approach. As a bride, she made me feel so comfortable and heard, she was absolutely lovely towards us and our families.
Massive thank you to Leanne for taking us through the planning process, taking my every vision and request in stride, and making my beautiful cocktail wall dreams come true. Leanne took my many phone calls and always knew how to ease my mind when things seemed stressful! She is excellent at what she does, and any upcoming couple would be luck to work with her.
We give Whistle Bear 5 stars for the stunning setting they offer, the incredible quality of their food and drinks, the wonderful staff they provide, and the personalized approach they took to ensuring our wedding day felt unique, picture perfect and a reflection of us as a couple. THANK YOU! -

Where do we even start! Whistle Bear completely blew us away. From our first experience to our last the staff continually went above and beyond for us and we can’t thank them enough. Our special events consultant Leanne was absolutely amazing she was always willing to answer our questions and made sure everything we wanted was included in our day! The menu tasting was absolutely amazing we brought our parents with us and they were blown away by everything. On the day of our rehearsal we met Riley and Ryan and these two ladies completely blew us away. They both went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch and catered to our every need. We can’t thank both girls enough you were truly amazing we love you both so much! Our guests had such an amazing time and raved about the grounds, the venue and the food and drinks! Whistle Bear is a top notch venue and you will never be disappoint having your wedding here. Thank you all for making our day so amazing it was a dream! -
