Sawdust City Brewing Company is a craft brewery and restaurant wedding venue located in Gravenhurst, Ontario — the “Gateway to Muskoka.” Established in 2014, the brewery has been thoughtfully renovated to blend original industrial character with warm, rustic Muskoka accents, creating a space that feels both authentic and elevated.

Our recently transformed Service Bay event space offers an elegant setting with attentive, welcoming staff to ensure you and your loved ones feel right at home. Situated in the heart of Gravenhurst, Sawdust City is surrounded by iconic Muskoka scenery, including Lake Muskoka, the historic Gravenhurst Wharf, and Gull Lake — all perfect backdrops for memorable wedding photos and celebrations.

Facilities and Capacity

This versatile venue spans three open-concept floors, offering a variety of layouts to suit gatherings from 15 to 150 guests. The main floor showcases soaring ceilings, a striking brick backsplash, and a large live-edge bar, creating a dramatic focal point for your event. Just steps down, a spacious seating area is bathed in natural light by day and transformed into an intimate, inviting atmosphere by night, featuring three, large glass bay doors and clusters of halo pendant lights. On warm summer evenings, the bay doors can roll all the way up to connect with our private three-season courtyard, bringing in fresh Muskoka breezes.

From the moment you connect with our Events Sales Manager, you’ll receive the guidance needed to craft a wedding plan that truly reflects your vision. Once your plan is in place, our Event Coordinator steps in to manage every detail — from detailed timelines and floor plans to coordinating with vendors — ensuring your wedding unfolds exactly as imagined. The Coordinator is on-site for your celebration, so every detail is executed seamlessly, allowing you to fully enjoy your special day.

Your reservation includes harvest tables, Chiavari chairs, glassware, barware, flatware, and dishware for both bar and dinner service. In addition, we’ve partnered with a network of trusted local vendors to make every aspect of your wedding effortless and memorable.

We offer a flexible approach to bar service, allowing you to choose a cash bar, host bar, or a mixed option to suit your budget. Our bar features 8 customizable taps, along with fridges stocked with Lake of Bays and Sawdust City beers, seltzers, and a full rail of spirits, wine, and cocktails.

Our space is equipped with 14 speakers dispersed throughout the space providing over 1000W of amplification horsepower to keep the party going all night long.
