The Mississauga Convention Centre is a wedding venue located in Mississauga, Ontario. Facilities and Capacity
This venue boats 30,000 square feet of flexible event space that may be split into seven separate rooms to accommodate a range of needs. Pretty disappointing
Spent money for food to be thrown out before guests could finish eating and didn’t serve what was in the contract. Here is my experience..
Dealing with a few members of the sales team was unpleasant as many were rude or would not even acknowledge my husband or myself in the office.
I had booked my bridal shower here as well and was told previously that I would be able to take food home, little did I know, they changed that policy and tried to tell me the day of that I would not be taking food home. After going back and forth, they stuck to their word and I was able to get the food from my bridal shower. I had gone back after the shower to confirm I would receive it as well for my wedding (as originally promised when I made payment) they said it would not be possible but after I escalated, they said they would allow us.
I was told by a number of people, including my mom, maid of honour AND GROOM that their seafood buffet plate was thrown out before they could even eat it. Guests go to dance or the washroom or have some fresh air and would come back to their plate gone… why are they throwing out food that wasn’t even eaten!? 2 weeks after the wedding, we found out that 9 full tables did not get both options of protein WHICH I paid for in our contract. They were given the option of steak OR chicken, not both. I have had people even reach out and say they heard the manager getting mad advising it was one or the other, not two proteins. I called the sales team and emailed her to let her know of the situation, all I got was excuses after excuses…. they even mentioned that she would check the cameras to see what happened but she never told me, she told me I need to go through the legal team.

Beautiful!!!
Planning a wedding through Covid was extremely stressful. We worked with Ann and she was LOVELY!! She truly went above and beyond to help bring our vision to life. The hall is modern, beautiful, the food was amazing and everyone had a great time! They are fairly priced and we’ve recommended our friends to book here !! Xoxox Rafi and Lousine

Fantastic Venue!
What a fantastic experience, I was blown away by how thorough Connie and Taylor were about all the details of our special day! They made the entire process so easy and even though we had the difficulties of planning during Covid, it was still so seamless. I could not be more grateful, thank you!

Unprofessional & Inexperienced!
This place is the farthest any venue can be from “Hospitality”. If you choose them to host your event, do that at your own risk (I guarantee you that you will regret it). I had my wedding there last week and I can tell you from my experience that their entire team has proven to be very inexperienced and unprofessional.
A Sales Associate (Taylor) was assigned to us from the moment we signed the contract. Throughout, the planning phase, she would make a lot of commitments & agreements that they never stuck to. Their Director (Cliff) would always intervene after the Sale Associate agreed to something and would cancel it without prior notice. We experienced that with a number of agreements including capacity of the event, number of bars, cake service, hall location, hall layout,…,etc. Unfortunately, when we expressed that we weren’t happy with that approach, their director responded in a very aggressive manner and pointing blame at our other vendors (who weren’t even part of any of the above agreements).
One of their managers (Antonio) jumped in the midst of our wedding and started yelling at members of my family like a maniac. He made a scene in front of everyone for no apparent reason. My brother had to escort him outside the event when he kept behaving that way multiple times.
Overall, this is a family-owned business that clearly doesn’t understand the concept of hospitality and client service. They showed very little flexibility in hosting our event (despite the abnormal circumstance we are currently going through with Covid). During those circumstance, they had a very poor level of responsiveness and decision making.

Dream Wedding
We had our wedding here August 24, 2019 and it was truly a dream come true. Cliff was our go-to person who was truly a blessing. He handled everything with class and made everything run smoothly. He made sure everything was running to the way we wanted it to run and ensured we were happy with the food, granting us many tastings. Down to the smallest detail he was there to save the day. We are so happy we got to take part in the Couples banquet prior to the wedding and that we had continuous meetings to ensure we were happy. The place was recently renovated and all of our guest have nothing but amazing things to say. The late night snack buffets were a hit. They are super accommodating. If you want a magical day with little to no hiccups, this is the place for you. Thank you again! - Gina & Lamar

Amazing service
We had our wedding at MCC on November 2 2019 and couldn't have had a better time. The hall was beautiful and the new renovations looked amazing the reception hall we had was stunning.
The food and service we received exceeded all of our expectations. The server's were very attentive and professional and the bar tenders were fast and fun. The MCC kitchen team gave us an incredible meal from the antipasto bar all the way to the midnight seafood buffet the food was perfect. The Orange Roughy fish and Portuguese rice and the California Strip loin were particular standouts.
We would highly recommend choosing the Missisgua Convention Center as your wedding venue you won't be disappointed.

Picture perfect!
From the food to the staff to the decor .... it was truly incredible! People are still talking about the salads and soups we had! Thank you so much for turning our dream day into a reality. The new modern renovations made for an added bonus. I’m so happy and if I had to do it all over again I’d pick MCC! Thanks for being so accommodating and having a back up plan for my outdoor ceremony, which looked so much more beautiful inside than out.
