Exchange your wedding vows at the historic Liuna Station located in Hamilton, Ontario. This architectural masterpiece feaures Italian marble flooring, graceful draperies, and a lovely fountain that will take you back in time. Liuna Station is approximately 43 minutes away from Toronto Pearson International Airport. The venue is located near Admiral Inn, Sheraton Hamilton Hotel, and several other hotels. We are conveniently located across the street from the West harbour GO Station.
Facilities and capacity
The station offers luxurious event spaces that can turn your wedding into a royal affair. Some of the sites are:
- Grand Central: With beautiful Versace curtains and subtle lighting, this location has the capacity to comfortably accommodate 700 guests. The ballroom features magical interiors that will render you speechless.
- Continental Express: This event site showcases impeccable Italian marble floors and amazing ceilings. Two mesmerizing ballrooms adorn this beautiful space, making it an ideal spot for receptions.
- King George: This elegant and classy ballroom, featuring two huge bars, is perfect for receptions. It has VIP powder rooms and suites that can be used as changing rooms for the bridal party. It has the capacity to entertain up to 300 guests.
- Grand Lobby: This location features majestic marble columns and a gold and copper ceiling. It is ideal for hosting ceremonies and a cocktail hour. It accommodates up to 300 guests.

Dream Wedding Come True
We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding at LIUNA Station, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we saw the stunning historic building, we knew it was the perfect fit for our special day.
The venue exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff and coordinators were extremely helpful and responsive, making the planning process seamless and stress-free. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes that impressed our guests. We received countless compliments on the cuisine and drinks!
The King George patio was a highlight during cocktail hour, providing a fantastic space for mingling, live music, and games. The historic backdrop made our photos truly unforgettable.
LIUNA Station accommodated our special requests and dietary restrictions with ease, showing exceptional attention to detail. We felt that the value was equal to the price paid, and we would 1000% recommend this venue to others!
The staff went above and beyond to make our day special. Michele provided first class planning services, making the planning process from out of province a breeze. Our sweetheart table server was incredible, anticipating our every need. Gabby, the day-of coordinator, ensured a smooth execution and even helped coordinate a surprise birthday cake delivery to a guest during our speech!

Liuna Station gave me my dream wedding
We hosted our wedding at Liuna Station on October 7, 2023 and we couldn't have been happier. Michele worked hard to help us put on our dream wedding - she was so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process and was very respectful of our budget. She was super responsive to communications and honestly made the whole process a lot less stressful.
Once the actual day came, I was blown away by the thoughtfulness of Gabby and the Liuna staff. They went above and beyond to make my wedding even more beautiful and more perfect than I could ever imagine. All of the staff were so warm, kind, and welcoming - bar staff, serving staff, coat check, even the set-up staff - they were absolutely amazing and did everything they could to give us the wedding of our dreams. I was honestly so touched by how wonderful the staff was - I've never been at an event with such high quality of service and professionalism.
I came up with cocktails for my guests (including His and hers) and the bartenders DELIVERED. These guys know how to make a good cocktail. The food was AMAZING and I received rave reviews from my guests. My sister was married at Liuna Gardens 13 years ago. A decade later, the quality of food and the service at Liuna is still top notch.
It's a beautiful, romantic venue, with the best customer service and staff, amazing food and drink - honestly what more could you ask for?

Food and service was excellent!
We picked their best menu (#4) and their supreme Antipasto Bar was beyond what we expected! The table was covered with lots of fresh, delicious seafood. If you want your guests to keep talking about your wedding how great the food is, book with Liuna, they’re there to deliver!

So Accommodating and Beautiful Venue!
The staff at Liuna Station (particularly Miranda) were so helpful. We had to change wedding dates and only had a ceremony due to Covid - but they did everything possible to make it a success. The venue is beautiful and I would recommend it to any future bride!

The best venue team to work with!

There are no words that could possibly express how happy we are to have chosen Liuna Gardens as our wedding venue. Our wedding was affected by the covid pandemic (originally June 2020, postponed to August 2020). Nicole from Liuna (Gardens and Station) was just amazing to work with. I had an opportunity to have a real wedding moment by having our details meeting in February with her (pre-covid). Throughout the spring she kept in touch regularly with updates on the venue's responses to the pandemic and government's regulations. She was quick to respond to my many emails and questions, always with a friendly note. Although there were many restrictions in place (by the government) that the venue had to follow, Nicole did everything possible to help make our day perfect, and it was! It's so unfortunate that Liuna Gardens is closing down, but we are very grateful to have had the chance to get married on it's property before the closure.
To those looking for a reliable venue to have their wedding at, I strongly recommend checking out Liuna Station, the staff are phenomenal, you really won't regret it!

We had our ceremony and reception there.
All pictures done on site, beautiful grounds.
Great food, fantastic staff, booze was awesome and beautiful venue.
We were able to hire all outside vendors, no pressure to hire their recommendations.
They made our wedding day amazing.

Liuna station made wedding planning painless. They walked us through everything and were so willing to work with us to create the reception that we wanted. It's such a beautiful location, especially when it's lit up at night with the fountain going in the front. Super romantic and regal.
Patricia, our on-site coordinator, was amazing. Discreetly kept me up to speed as to what was happening, and when they needed a decision. Made sure everything ran so so so smoothly. She was always available when I needed to find her, and took all of my insane requests without batting an eye and without making me feel like I was the crazy bride. I definitely couldn't ask for more.

Beautiful Venue!
