Amazing venue, could not have asked for a better place to celebrate!
Where do I start, the team is incredible from the coordinators to the servers, chef, even security, everyone was incredibly helpful, resourceful and organized.
Karen: bottom line she is amazing, she took the pressure off of us both, offered great advice and kept us organized. As someone that is typically organized in my life it was a blessing to be able to rely on her and know that everything would be perfect. She went above and beyond to make our night memorable even going so far as fixing our centerpieces when someone mentioned they thought the groom and best man had set them up wrong! Throughout the entire planning process she and her team were on top of everything, encouraging, helpful, and focused; our reception was flawless and we have their team to thank for it.
The serving staff were also wonderful, we had so many guests mention how lovely and attentive they all were, no one was ever without a glass of wine or snack, the buffet was never empty (and I know everyone ate lots) so it was being refilled constantly, and the candy bar was topped up lots too. Every detail was taken care of allowing my now-husband and I to enjoy the night, stress-free!
The venue itself is beautiful, it is super spacious and allowed us to be able to have everything we wanted and still look amazing and not squished at all, and we had a lot: photobooth, DJ, hot chocolate bar, candy bar, LOVE marquee sign, cake table, kids table, signing table, buffet…and the list goes on! The venue has so much to offer and being able to have the screens with our pictures on loop was really special too!
We were able to set up the day prior which made the day of so much less stressful and we can’t thank the Sheridan team enough for this! Karen, Kelly, and Joanna were all so amazing helping us set up, which included helping me make up my indecisive mind on where things should go and what extra was needed. And a special shout out to Joanna for helping to safety pin my dress after I put my high heel through it!
The food was delicious, our guests raved about the mini grilled cheese sandwiches and mini beef wellington’s, and pretty much all of the rest of the food as well! No one went hungry that’s for sure.
Overall if we had to do it again I wouldn’t change a single thing, I had an amazing time as did our guests (so they keep telling me), in a great venue with incredible staff. We can’t thank you enough!
