Simply put, I love taking pictures. My passion for photography is complemented by my experience in various processes, including both wet and dry plate techniques. I hold a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Calgary and was honored as the top emerging photographer in Alberta shortly after completing my MFA.

What I cherish most about my role is capturing the joy of people on the happiest day of their lives. I particularly enjoy documenting authentic moments and emotions, immersing myself in each couple's unique story.

In addition to wedding photography, I share my passion by teaching photography at Fleming College, where I inspire new generations of photographers to explore their creativity.

I am a passionate videographer at Fedora Media, dedicated to capturing authentic, story-driven moments with a cinematic touch. With a background in broadcast television and extensive experience in ENG, documentary, and wedding filmmaking, he combines strong technical skills with calm execution on the day, always focused on genuine emotion.

What I love most is helping couples feel relaxed and have fun while creating films that truly reflect who they are, emphasizing a natural and candid style. When he’s not behind the camera, Doug enjoys 3D printing, playing video games, and working on building projects.

As a photographer and content creator, I specialize in capturing real, emotional moments with a fun, relaxed energy that helps couples feel completely at ease in front of the camera. Since starting my photography journey in 2016, I transitioned from sports photography to weddings three years ago. My background in fast-paced sports environments honed my ability to anticipate moments, remain calm under pressure, and capture emotion as it naturally unfolds—skills that are invaluable on wedding days.

I take a strong documentary approach to my work, complemented by natural, guided portraits that feel effortless and authentic. What I love most about photographing weddings is the opportunity to witness once-in-a-lifetime emotions up close—the quiet nerves, the happy tears, and the vibrant energy of the dance floor. I’m particularly drawn to candid, unscripted moments that tell the real story of the day. Intimate ceremonies, heartfelt vows, and high-energy receptions are where I truly thrive.

Outside of photography, I enjoy Pilates as my weekly movement routine, and there's nothing quite like a crisp Diet Coke after a long wedding day.

I’m all about preserving genuine emotion and meaningful connection, especially during life’s most unforgettable moments like engagements, weddings, and the love stories that follow. Since my first wedding in 2017, I've had the privilege of shooting over 150 weddings, equipping me with the experience to handle anything—whether it’s an intimate elopement or a grand celebration.

I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some of Southern Ontario's top photographers, learning directly from their expertise and honing my own craft. What I love most about my role is capturing moments and memories that couples will cherish for a lifetime. My favourite projects are those that hold deep significance for the couples or families I’m photographing, where I capture moments that truly matter to them.

On a personal note, I’m a big cat person and have three cats of my own. I’ve become quite skilled at taking cat portraits because I can’t resist capturing the adorable antics of my fur babies.

Connecting with clients through humor and experience, I create unforgettable visual documentation that will be cherished for generations. With a college education in photography and graphic design, I have been professionally photographing clients in both studio and on-location settings for over 15 years.

I thrive in the whirlwind of a wedding day, where I strive to create a balanced flow of energy by curating moments of connectivity, reflection, passion, and capturing genuine expressions of laughter and joy. After spending the day getting to know a couple and their loved ones, I always drive home feeling honored to have played a part in their special day.

When I'm not behind the lens, I dream of being a children’s author and illustrator. I also have a deep passion for music and cinematography, which translates to my love for listening to albums, playing guitar, and watching films.

I work as a video editor and videographer. My passion for filmmaking began in childhood, and I consider it an honour to capture special moments and transform them into beautiful stories.

As I enter my final semester at Sheridan College, where I've studied film for four years, I have specialized in video and sound editing while honing my ability to craft emotionally driven narratives. My videography and photography skills are primarily self-taught; I've gained valuable experience through an internship at the Erin Estate wedding venue, where I documented important moments for both couples and the venue itself.

What I love most about my work is contributing to something deeply sentimental for the couples I work with. Knowing that I can help them relive one of the most significant moments of their lives through the videos I create is incredibly rewarding. One of my favourite projects is a short film I’m currently working on about a boxer overcoming resentment after reconnecting with an old friend, where I serve as a B-camera operator, behind-the-scenes photographer, and lead sound editor. The experience of blending fight scenes with emotionally charged moments has been exhilarating, so if you’re interested in a dramatic short film style, let me know!

Outside of videography, photography, and editing, I enjoy producing electronic music, primarily house, while also exploring various other genres.

I was introduced to photography by my father with a film camera when I was a child, as he taught photography at high school. My journey into professional photography started 18 years ago, with scientific photography in research. I later moved on to event photography and then wedding photography over a decade ago.

My favourite things to capture are emotions, which is an amazing reason to be a wedding photographer. What makes me most proud in photography is the clients I have been photographing for every step of their lives, from graduations, engagements, weddings, maternity, newborns, birthdays, holidays, and so much more. It makes me happy to have long-term relationships with clients, and I am proud when people keep coming back to me.

I live at a farm with my partner and my gorgeous golden retriever. I have a passion for nature and nature photography. I love to garden and explore the outdoors. I am a certified teacher at the high school level in Science, Mathematics and Communication Technology.

My advice for people planning their wedding is not to focus too much on other people’s wedding photos and trying to recreate them. Live your day and your joy, and the photos will turn out beautifully. Your love and the unique memories of your day are what matter most!

With experience as the primary camera operator for several TV shows and as a story producer for the first season of "SEW Fierce," I bring a wealth of knowledge to each project. My favorite project was the magical night I proposed to my wife at Lisa’s Carousel in Brooklyn, NY—capturing those moments in the beautiful blue hour.

In my spare time, I enjoy creating bathymetric maps of local lakes out of wood, blending my love for art and the outdoors. I believe in being the "fly on the wall" that sometimes buzzes a hint to enhance each special moment, making every shoot an experience to remember.

I specialize in telling stories through intentional, aesthetic-driven content that resonates with audiences and captures the essence of each moment.

With a keen eye for detail, I excel in capturing organic moments through short-form video, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and mobile content creation. My experience has granted me the unique opportunity to document transformations as spaces are filled with beloved people and cherished belongings, creating lasting memories.

What I love most about my role is meeting incredible individuals driven by purpose. Working with couples allows me to capture what lights them up through authentic storytelling, creating a visual narrative that reflects their love and passion. One of my favourite projects was the Kidney Foundation Gala—an amazing cause where I had the privilege of highlighting the contributions of each individual and preserving the heartfelt details of the event.

Outside of work, I’m also a flight attendant and a proud dog mom to my very spoiled pup, Bean. I bring my love of travel and adventure into my storytelling, always seeking new experiences and inspirations.

An avid reader and lifelong learner, I often joke I’ll be “in school forever”—keeping pace with the ever-evolving digital and technology landscape so her clients don’t have to.

As an officiant, I focus on creating a heartfelt and personalized experience that truly reflects the couple's journey together.

In my role as a content creator, I enjoy developing engaging materials that highlight the stories and emotions of each wedding. I strive to capture the essence of the day through thoughtful visuals and narratives that couples can cherish forever.

What I love most about my work is resourcing couples so they can weave their story throughout every element of the day. One of my favourite experiences was performing a ceremony at Glen Erin Inn for a beautiful couple, where guests arrived in full red carpet style and cheered for every person walking down the aisle. The engagement from everyone present made it feel as if time stood still, allowing the celebration of these two perfect souls to shine. It was wonderfully curated and deeply enjoyed by all!

In my downtime, I enjoy stress baking, which adds a sweet personal touch to my life outside of wedding planning and content creation.

My inspiration for becoming a wedding photographer stems from the variety of roles I can embody while capturing the day—whether as an architect, portrait artist, or journalist. A unique aspect of my approach is my use of extra lighting, such as flashes, which adds depth and creativity to my images. My style varies with each wedding, allowing me to adapt to the atmosphere and vibe. I particularly love the morning moments as they kick off the day's excitement.

One of the most memorable weddings I’ve photographed was a wedding where I had the privilege of working with an incredible team of creative individuals. In terms of my vibe, I would describe myself as authentic, cheerful, and funny.

I’m proud to have completed a two-year photography course at Sheridan College, which was a significant milestone in my journey. The best compliment I've received is the tears of joy from clients as they go through their photos, knowing I’ve captured meaningful moments.

My advice for couples planning their weddings is simple: Don’t worry; it will all be over soon, and you'll have countless beautiful memories to cherish!
