The perfect venue
Our fall wedding at Cambridge Mill went off without a hitch! Every detail was absolutely perfect and accounted for by the staff and coordinators.
We started looking for a venue one year prior and fell in love with Cambridge Mill. From day 1 we knew we were in good hands. Our coordinator Shannon, provided such support and was always available to our questions. A few months prior to the big day, we were transitioned over to Tyler, who exceeded expectations in providing recommendations, guidance and problem solving. No question was too silly, and trust us, we had a lot of questions.
The day was beyond perfect, and every aspect was handled by the coordinating team. Our day of coordinator, Taylor, made it so we didn’t have to think, all we had to think about was OUR day and enjoying every moment together.
There are venues that are less expensive for sure, BUT, the peace of mind, beautiful venue and having such a special day and being able to be 100% present for it without worrying about little details was absolutely worth it.

Beautiful venue would be perfect with qualified service.
Well, we dealt with four wedding coordinators in the 2 years of our planning. They were not transparent with all costs and assume you know (as if you always plan weddings). Service was fine up until you make your deposit and payment. Makes you feel they are dishonest. It’s disappointing since the venue itself is beautiful and everyone on the outside thinks it’s beautiful.Sent on 30/08/2018
They insist that your materials are safe there but when we picked up the next morning, their coordinator tells you that a staff took it home or they don’t know where it is even though you hand it off to the person in charge. They also book weddings super close to one another in which forces you to rush out of their facilities ruining your photo opportunities. They take the liberty to tell your vendors to leave without consulting you.
Food was amazing and servers for food was amazing. The planning process was hardest.
So the wedding was beautiful for guests, but the details and planning, sucked!

It was okay.....
I felt kinda rushed for my photos on the grounds, and they didn’t respond in a timely manner. I also had 3 different consultants within the year we were planning. The food was very good thoughSent on 20/02/2019

-The staff. Absolutely professional, friendly, and accommodating. A very special shout-out to Chloe, our day-of concierge, who is an absolute angel. My dress needed straps and she did not hesitate to fashion me some straps and sew them right onto my dress before the ceremony. She also grabbed me lash glue and re-attached my lashes on one side where they were coming off. She grabbed me my flat shoes when she thought my feet might be hurting in heels, and the list goes on and on. She completely went above and beyond the call of duty that day!
-The food. SO. GOOD.
-The venue itself is gorgeous and has breathtaking views over the water. Not a lot of decor is needed because the place is stunning enough on its own.
-I suppose that this goes along with what I was saying about the staff, but the folks that work here are SO responsive to e-mails! This is very comforting when you're planning your wedding.
-The venue is very accommodating of those with allergies and intolerance to certain foods. They are always happy to find an alternative meal for those who can't eat what everyone else is eating.
-This venue is a one-stop shop for weddings. Though they are a bit more expensive than some other venues in the KW area, because they do so many weddings they have everything you need here and you really don't have to outsource much. Plus, they have a lot more items included in their wedding packages than some other places.
-Please, please consider getting air conditioning on the North Terrace of the restaurant! Our party was boiling the night of our rehearsal dinner and a big part of what people were talking about was how hot it was in there. Though we had a great time, if would have been even better if we'd been in cooler conditions.
-Parking get very crowded, very quickly. Along with that, Water Street on the one side of the CM is only one-way, which leads to a lot of congestion and can cause some of your guests, who don't know what traffic is like in the area, to show up late.
-The CM is a bit of a wedding factory, so chances are more than likely that there will be multiple other weddings occurring on the same day as yours. This didn't hinder us at all, but I know that some couples may not like that.
