When we went to see the venue we fell in love instantly and their packages are amazing! ceremony, reception, and open bar included along with late night table! plus the dinner is an "order day of" thing which I love! Can't wait!

From start to finish, Cambridge Mill made our wedding seamless, straightforward, smooth and absolutely wonderful!
TL;DR version - Book Cambridge Mill. It will exceed your expectations. Amazing staff (shoutout Maddy and Bonnie), gorgeous venue, delicious food with amazing late-night options that just keep getting refilled.
Staff - From start to finish, it was very easy to reach and communicate with the staff at Cambridge Mill to plan out every last detail of our special day. They were flexible with absolutely every single little request, and provide expert guidance on any details with which we were unfamiliar or unsure. On the day of, our maitre-d'/concierge (Maddy) and day of coordinator (Bonnie) were the real MVP's. They made sure everything flowed perfectly and all of our guests remarked how we were the only wedding couple to actually get to eat at their own wedding. They made sure food and drinks were brought to us even when we were off-site from Cambridge Mill doing wedding portraits at Mill Race Park. We were actually able to ENJOY our wedding day, without worry.
Food - We've received countless compliments about how amazing the food was and that is possibly the best chicken they've ever had at a wedding (somehow NOT dry for once). Also the porchetta is a must-have, never sleep on it. It kept guests staying much later than they had anticipated and partying well into the night. Cocktail hour food was amazing. We LOVED that guests were able to order for themselves upon sitting down which removed the stress of tracking individual entree selections prior to the wedding. But yeah, porchetta. Get it. Now.
Venue - Once you actually arrive for your first ever visit to Cambridge Mill, it will win you over with its gorgeous backdrop of the Grand River. Stunning views from the glass-windowed chapel. The beauty of the venue made it much easier to have minimalistic decor without seeming empty. Just see it for yourself.

Amazing venue
Cambridge Mill is so beautiful! Dalton was incredible as a planner. Dalton made sure each part of the night was planned exactly as we imagined it. The day-of coordinators were fantastic. We had a spectacular day for our wedding, I highly recommend the Mill!!!

Amazing Venue, Better Food, Even Better Staff
I have wanted a wedding at the Cambridge Mill since I was seven years old. Being born and raised in Cambridge it was the only place I wanted to have my wedding. What I wasn't expecting was it to be so much more than my seven year old self could imagine.
The Venue
For starters, my Husband is from England where we now live. When deciding where to get married it was important that we had a fusion of our home countries. There was no question in my mind when deciding to book with the Cambridge Mill (CM) as all the natural stonework made for a very castle setting. We had our reception in the Falls Room which featured a HUGE cocktail area of all windows overlooking the river. The snow made everything shine adding to the "Wow!" factor. It thrilled my husband to be so close to the water and to have such an English setting for our perfect day. But the looks of building aren't what make a venue so special (because if that's not the look you're going for it won't be for you) so let me tell you what did...
Food
Immaculate. The only word for it. They served hot and cold hors d'oeuvres to my guests during the cocktail hour while we had pictures taken. Not just your average placed cocktail hour snacks... oh no.... hand delivered, fresh, delicious morsels for my party to enjoy while they waited and enjoyed some beverages. The entrees were beyond perfect. The smell, the portions and the flavour were all perfect. Every dish cooked to order with an important emphasis on making sure every one was enjoying there dish exactly the way they asked for it (including those with allergies!). We had a Haggis course, which isn't typical for the venue but they brought it in specifically for my wedding and boy did they nail it. It can be a tricky dish to do correctly but my guests would not stop talking about it! We opted for a wild mushroom puree (soup) that was absolutely to die for. It was so creamy and well balanced. I don't like mushrooms at all and I had to have this soup. For our mains we had a selection of a beef tenderloin or a stuffed chicken and a vegetarian option of a wild mushroom filled tart. My husband like the veg. option so much he requested to have it as well as the beef. Our guests raved about their main courses and couldn't believe how wonderful it all looked and tasted. Our dessert was a dark chocolate nemesis cake with candied blood orange and marmalade. This cake.... was everything. It tasted like a Terry's Chocolate Orange but far more decadent. Oh and let's not forget the late night station. Poutine and a charcuterie board sent everything over the top when it was announced and guests were so excited to have their first experience with poutine (considering half were from England).
The Staff
Wow. Just wow. Everyone from start to finish was so kind and attentive. The extra support you are provided as a Bride and Groom on the day of is unparalleled. Our MD was Bonnie - she was on top of EVERYTHING! I had created a rather detailed timeline that was followed to a T. She created the perfect setting for my perfect day and really put me at ease! Our Concierge was Monica - there aren't enough words. Monica was with us from when we arrived to have our photos done across the street until the end. She went above and beyond by making us comfortable, getting us drinks, carrying my dress and veil and even exchanging our soups when we were saying hello to guests to make sure when we sat down to eat it was hot. Both of them put an incredible amount of thought into every detail that was carried out that night and we couldn't be more thrilled. I was also visited by the Events Manager, Dani several times that evening. She came to see how we were enjoying our night and made sure we had anything and everything we asked for. She helped us at the end of the night with some decor which was so incredible as I hadn't made a plan. Also have to mention Maddie because she was so incredible! My family would NOT stop singing her praises the day after. She was so kind to our ring bearer and apparently cleaned up a mess he had made. She did it so quickly and efficiently I didn't even know about it until the day after! She went out of her way to make sure he was ok and didn't feel embarrassed which in my books is above the call of duty! Our bartenders were incredible - Brandon and Jake. My husband and I knew going into the wedding we may potentially have a.... rowdy crowd. These two handled everything perfectly. From making our signature drinks better than we ever could to making sure all of our guests were in good form and enjoying themselves. This team was incredible.
I don't think there is any way I will ever be able to appropriately express my gratitude to the CM team and the incredible evening they created for my guests. They truly made it a one-of-a-kind night for my husband and I.

Most amazing day of our life
If you are shopping for wedding venues, do yourself the biggest favour and tour Cambridge Mill. They are the standard to hold all other venues to! Cambridge Mill is the entire package – breathtaking views of the river, gorgeous backdrops, the absolute best food I've ever had, not to mention being almost all-inclusive in their costs. We couldn't believe the service we got; all the staff at CM were so accommodating and worked hard to make our day everything we could have dreamed of. We want to shout out the whole team at CM, but especially our consultant Megan, our concierge Danielle, and our maitre d' Bonnie. Thank you all so much!

Hosted one of the best days of our lives!!!
Pre-process:
- They gave a comprehensive tour of the place along with the packages offered
- Lyndsay was especially helpful at the beginning to walk us through the process. Knowing that we've got all the personnel in between us to help us along the way was one of the biggest reasons we went with Cambridge Mills.
- The Venue was stunning. Our favourite parts were the view of the waterfall from the Solarium as well as the rustic but elegant feel of the stone walls in the falls room
Ongoing:
- They laid out everything including the schedule for the preparations (food tasting, final details, etc.).
- They captured everything we wanted to happen at our big day
- The Front desk was especially responsive to any questions or last minute details we had.
The Big Day!
- Everyone loved the venue. Almost all our guests changed their display pics on their social media with pictures of them at the Solarium
- Food was amazing. We had the Beef Tenderloin and the Glazed Atlantic Salmon.
- Monica, the Concierge, was excpetional in being there at the right place and right time to guide both us as the couple as well as our MC and Day of contact with getting things in order
Points of improvement:
- One of their projector screens stopped working on the day of which was unfortunate. It may have been a one off situation
- We didn't have the contact information of the people that were going to be there on the day off. So it became a bit of an issue when our MC wanted to get a hold of the special events coordinator but they were unavailable on the day of. Thankfully, our amazing concierge was there to help out right in time. The process would have been smoother if we had communicated with her ahead of time.

Spectacular all around
We had the most amazing wedding with the Cambridge Mill. Above and beyond our expectations. Our support staff for the evening were absolutely wonderful, the food was delicious, the officiant was funny and kind, the site was gorgeous. It was a dream wedding and we couldn't have asked for better.

My fall wedding - Sept 23, 2022
My Friday wedding at the mill was wonderful. This day was truly special for my husband and I, and the team at the Cambridge Mill went above and beyond for us both, like nothing I ever expected. The staff was on point with every single aspect of my day, and the food was AMAZING!!!! I cannot stress enough how happy our guests were with the food, and the quickness of the bar. Absolutely beautiful space for a wedding.

Cambridge Mill was everything we could have asked for and more. The flexibility truly stood out for us. Our coordinator ended up on an unexpected leave due to unforeseen circumstances and we had many people to communicate with about our day. Non the less anytime I had a question the info team, other coordinators, managers and even GM, were ready and able to step in and help us guide us through our day. We have never planned or been a part of a wedding and the Mill walked us through and helped create a truly wonderful experience for us and our family and friends! The views and trails and water make for BRILLIANT photos and backdrops. The guests were raving about the food and drinks! I cannot thank this team enough.
