If you want the most dreamy experience, with great food, stellar staff, at an absolutely magical venue, look no further. We recently had our wedding, an intimate night with our closest friends and family, at The Cambridge Mill. I cannot possibly begin to describe our experience with The Mill. From immediate communication to weeks after our wedding was over, our coordinator was so on point with everything. Communication is a huge thing for me and Aime was next level with her care, communication and making sure all our special requests were met with ease. Our day of staff was phenomenal from the moment I stepped foot out of the limo. The attention to detail, and how much care they put into their clients is incredible. We’d do this over and over and over again and wouldn’t change a thing.Cambridge Mill's reply:

We had the most magical wedding day at Cambridge Mill, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible team who made it all possible. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were enchanted by its beauty and charm. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, creating a flawless experience for us and our guests.
A special shoutout to Dalton for being super flexible and helpful with all our questions and requests. Another shout out to our amazing maître d’, Stephanie who was an absolute dream to work with. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality truly made the day run smoothly. Stephanie stood out in the rain for us during photos and offered her umbrella to my wedding party, she truly went above and beyond for us and for that we are thankful. They were always one step ahead, making sure we were well taken care of and that everything unfolded seamlessly.
The venue and the staff exceeded all of our expectations, creating a day we will cherish forever. If you're looking for a place that delivers both breathtaking beauty and exceptional service, Cambridge Mill is the perfect choice.

During the beginning stages of wedding planning, on a whim we decided to make an appointment and drive down to Cambridge from Markham to take a look at some wedding venues.
We had no intention of settling down on a venue quite so soon (in 2022) for a spring 2024 wedding but Cambridge Mill blew us away. The view was spectacular, it had a European feel and overlooks the Grand River. We didn't want a typical city vibe or banquet hall, we aimed to find something scenic, rustic but also cozy and this venue hit all the marks.
Megan was the first consultant that we spoke with, she gave us a tour of the grounds and possible room options that would fit our estimated guest count. We instantly loved the Falls Room & Solarium as it had the best views.
She showed us all the available packages and patiently walked us through the differences, we were able to customize to a certain extent as well. Overall we had really good feelings about Cambridge Mill by the end of our meeting.
What really solidified the decision was the FOOD! We decided to grab lunch at the restaurant that same day and we were blown away - we tried the salad, burger, pasta and carrot cake. We tried to look at other venues after including 2 other Pearle properties such as Spencers and Ancaster Mill but they couldn't even be compared to the hospitality we received at Cambridge Mill.
Shortly after, Megan moved into a new role and we hopped on a details call with our new co-ordinator - Amie. We were a bit worried as we had already laid down the ground work with Megan but everything worked out well. All of our notes and plans were seamlessly carried over to Amie and she understood what we wanted without any issue. Working with Amie made wedding planning so much easier - she gave us insightful feedback regarding our timeline, provided good suggestions and was genuinely excited to see it all coming together. We liked the flexibility and making modifications wasn't stressful, she would always make time to speak with us with her tight schedule. All in all, the planning leading up the the wedding went well and they accommodated out of the box requests (ie. early onsite picture, setting up a Bubble Tea Bar, Ramen Bar set up, and Chinese Lion Dancers).
We had our tasting scheduled 2 months before the wedding in January and we were allowed 2 additional guests to join us. The food was good as we expected and it was really tough to choose only 1 appetizer for our guests. Danielle was our server that day, and she was so amazing and we had a great time chatting with her. We put in a bunch of notes and she reassured us the chef will review everything. We also talked about signature drinks in a purple colour and she said she and they had some ideas in the works. Honestly I didn't think she would remember us, given how there are so many events happening at the Mills. Mid March we went to the Mills to drop off decorations and speak with Amie, on our visit we bumped into Danielle who was working a wedding, she remembered us and we got talking about the signature cocktail again - she said she had an idea and wanted us to try it out. Moments later she brought the prettiest purple drinks for us to try and they were tasty too. I was personally very touched by that gesture and that's how we decided on one of our signature cocktails. Luckily for us she was going to be working with us on our wedding day! We also bumped into Robin the chef, we got talking and then it clicked - he immediately said "hey, you are the couple with the ramen bar!", it was fun seeing everyone get excited about our big day!
About 2 days before the wedding there was a small misunderstanding regarding the wedding party arrival time for photos with the front desk which caused some stress as it would push back our first look. Luckily, the situation was resolved on the same day and they were extremely apologetic about it. They also provided additional space so both team groom and team bride could take photos without crossing paths.
On rehearsal day we were greeted with a winter storm near the end of March - however Stephanie welcomed us happily. We went through the schedule together, confirmed some details and walked through the whole ceremony process. The rehearsal itself was very straightforward, the only issue was the heat in the Pavilion was turned off so it was really cold. However she reassured us that it will be warm and toasty on the day of! The whole team was so accommodating, they set everything up and our group went in and finalized the details.
On the wedding day, Stephanie and Danielle were our main contacts and they were so wonderful to work with, I had actually forgotten my letters that I was supposed to read during my first look, instead of delaying it and waiting for someone to run to my hotel, Stephanie got it printed so there wouldn't be delays. It was a windy and cold spring day, while I was making my way from the main building to the Pavillion during the ceremony, Danielle and the manager held massive umbrellas that would shield me from the wind ensuring my hair wouldn't be messed up and I wouldn't freeze too much, I thought that was such a kind gesture on their part. The team worked quietly and very efficiently, they moved all our ceremony pieces to the reception spaces seamlessly and rearranged the Solarium to fit all our late night eats.
Speaking about the food, the kitchen staff nailed it from H'or D'oeuvres down to the late nights! We didn't know what kind of hot/cold Hor D'oeuvres we would get - it's the chef's choice per the package we got. Let me tell you, they put together Asian fusion finger foods and it was a hit with our crowd of predominantly Asian guests. The baos, dumplings, pinwheels and the crispy chicken was everything I would have ever wanted - yet we never voiced it out. So we were really impressed.
The dinner was delicious - I know I'm being biased as we picked the menu items but I'm still amazed how good the food was - we had butternut squash soup, garden salad, stuffed chicken or steak and a chocolate hazelnut mousse. The soup was perfect in every way, sweet and hearty which was ideal for the cold weather. We loved the pears in the salad, but the wow factor was the entrees. They were HUGE portions - the stuffed chicken breast was our favourite, so juicy and tender and flavours of the mushroom sauce and goat cheese stuffing complimented each other nicely. In our tasting notes we asked to have a green veggie for some added colour and they brought out Chinese broccoli - I was mind blown. I was literally expecting zucchini but this was much better than I expected. Most of our guests were surprised to hear we chose a venue in Cambridge instead of back home in Toronto during the planning stages. Needless to say our guests were blown away by everything - the venue, the view and the food. They said "Oh I see why you chose this venue now!" and they are still raving about the food and how amazing it was to this very day.
Overall I highly recommend Cambridge Mill to all couples looking for a venue, their team is amazing to work with and the people are so genuine.
I'm really hoping someone from our friend group will get married there, as I would personally love to attend another event at Cambridge Mill!

When we started out our wedding journey we knew there would be a lot of difficult and important decisions to make... one of the easiest decisions we made was picking Cambridge Mill as our wedding venue. I could probably (and happily) spend hours and hours raving about what an incredible venue Cambridge Mill is but I feel like I would still not be able to do it justice. From start to finish their staff are absolutely awesome, they are extremely responsive (and trust me as I was planning the wedding without the help of a coordinator I had ALOT of questions) and their staff never made be feeling like I was bothering them or burdening them with too many questions. I am a very visual person and visited the site multiple times during the process and each time I kept asking to see the Falls room (the room we picked) and each time the staff welcomed me asking and encouraged me to go and see the room and get the visuals I needed. Dalton was our coordinator and he was incredible! During the process we had a few hurdles to clear and Dalton made us feel relaxed and supported and assured us that he would work with us to make sure everything worked out. Our day of coordinator provided by the venue was Maddie and she was an absolute GEM! We can honestly say that if it was not for her our day would not have gone as smoothly as it did. She made us feel special and it just added so much more to our day. She was prepared and organized and made sure everything from start to finish was exactly what we envisioned. She really is the reason that my husband and I could truly relax and enjoy our day because we knew we could trust Maddie which is a BIG deal. She was a treasure to us and our wedding party that my maid-of-honour said she would get married at Cambridge Mill, but only if Maddie was part of her team. But it is not only the staff that make this venue the perfect choice for a wedding it is the location and atmosphere. Pearle Hospitality has really gone above and beyond to make this location a stunning beauty. The mill is a perfect combination of rustic-elegance which is EXACTLY what me and my husband were looking for in our venue and the Pavilion (ceremony space) is a DREAM COME TRUE. It gives you the perfect sense of an outdoor venue with big beautiful floor to ceiling glass walls while still being covered so that you may enjoy the river view all times of the year! And the FOOD is drool worthy. We received all sorts of compliments about how delicious the food was, and guests even said they planned to come back and enjoy a meal at the restaurant they loved the food so much. Me and my husband adore everything about Cambridge Mill and would recommend them to ANYONE looking to get married, you could not ask for anything better and we 10000000% know that our wedding day - one of the most important days of your life - would not have been the same without Cambridge Mill.Cambridge Mill's reply:

I am truly not even sure how to begin to express the absolutely amazing experience we had getting married at the Cambridge Mill. The Pearle Vendors team so amazing to work with and they made the wedding planning process SO easy. The venue is STUNNING with so many amazing photo locations around the site. The team that we worked with was SO kind and made all our guests feel so welcomed and taken care of and I am STILL receiving compliments from friends about how amazing the staff, the venue, and the food was. All this to say, if you are looking for a venue that will work with you and work for you, The Cambridge Mill is it. -
