Spencer's at The Waterfront is a wedding venue in Burlington located overlooking the expansive waters of Lake Ontario. The venue capitalizes on its supreme setting with stunning views of the horizon on offer, to be shared in the company of loved ones. The seasonal cuisine of the kitchen is certain to delight foodies couples and their guests, with service provided by attentive and experienced waitstaff. The venue is easily reached from nearby Toronto and is within striking distance of Niagara Falls.
Facilities and Capacity
Spencer's at The Waterfront can accommodate parties of up to 120 guests across multiple event spaces. Couples can choose to celebrate every part of their big day at the property. They can organize a ceremony in the Observatory with its stunning vantage point over the lake. The venue space is also ideal for receptions. It features floor-to-ceiling windows that are 30 feet in height. The effect is one of a glass house sitting on the shores, the boundaries between inside and out merging into one. The setting’s minimal decor invites couples to flex their creative muscles when designing their event, and to make space all their own. Outside there is a large patio and pool space which invites guests to step out, enjoy the fresh air, and mingle. A cocktail interlude can also be held in the Solarium, as the staff change over the main space from ceremony to reception. Furniture, including tables and chairs, is included with the rental of the premises. There is parking available on site.
Services Offered
Spencer's at The Waterfront’s management is happy to welcome parties to the venue and excited to assist couples in planning their event. They allow to-be-weds to choose their own outside vendors, granting them control over their party. The staff can be on hand during the event to help set everything up and to clean up afterwards. Delicious cuisine is offered by the kitchen team with a focus on seasonal Candian produce and seafood.

From the very beginning, the entire team was incredibly supportive, organized, and professional. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Spencer’s made the process feel seamless. Everything was structured and well thought out, which gave us so much confidence throughout the planning journey.
Our day-of coordinator was absolutely amazing. She attended our rehearsal, answered all of our questions, and made us feel completely at ease before the big day. Throughout the evening, she checked in on us regularly and made sure everything was running smoothly. Her attentiveness and kindness allowed us to relax and fully enjoy every moment.
The venue itself is stunning, and the waterfront views created the perfect backdrop for our wedding. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything was. The food and drinks were also a huge hit, and we received so many compliments from our family and friends.
Every detail came together perfectly, and our wedding day felt truly magical. Choosing Spencer’s was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process. From the very beginning, Lyndsay was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, organized, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. She made sure every detail was taken care of and helped us feel confident that everything would come together perfectly. Her guidance and support played a huge role in making our wedding day run so smoothly.
On the day itself, the entire Spencer’s staff went above and beyond. Everyone was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience possible. We especially want to recognize Ben, who was incredibly helpful throughout the day. My husband was feeling some wedding-day nerves, and Ben’s kindness, reassurance, and support meant so much to him.
Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and truly went off without a hitch. We were able to relax and enjoy every moment because we knew we were in such capable hands. We are so grateful to Lyndsay, Ben, the entire Spencer’s team, and everyone at Pearle Hospitality for helping create a day that exceeded all of our expectations.

Dream wedding
From the very beginning, the food tasting experience was incredible high quality, thoughtfully prepared, and a clear preview of what was to come. On the wedding day itself, Spencer’s absolutely delivered. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food, the service, and the stunning venue.
Working with Lyndsay and Ben was an absolute pleasure. They set the standard for what hospitality and professionalism should look like. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made the entire process feel seamless and well-managed. The entire Spencer’s team was attentive, organized, and genuinely cared about making our day special.
One thing that really stood out to us, especially having attended many weddings as guests, was the bar service. At a lot of weddings, you can tell the alcohol is watered down. That was definitely not the case here. Spencer’s delivered quality across the board, and it didn’t go unnoticed by our guests.
When it comes to value, Spencer’s is truly second to none. The level of service, food quality, and overall experience you receive far exceeds expectations.
We would highly recommend this venue without hesitation. Our wedding exceeded everything we imagined, and many of our guests said it was one of, if not the best weddings they’ve ever attended.
A perfect setting for our special day!
The Observatory is absolutely stunning with such a picturesque view of the lake - it has some very nice unique touches that add elegance, romance and whimsy.
Unfortunately initial numbers didn't work so our search continued. Nothing felt right and we kept looking back at Spencer's. After some time, we reached back out to the team to discuss alternative options and were able to work with the incredibly flexible team to find a date that worked!
Throughout the entire planning process, each contact with the team was timely, professional, and reassured us that we had made the right decision. Not a single member of the team left anything other than a positive impression and we thank everyone so much! We offer special thanks to Alex, Ben, and Kaveli (as well as one other team member who was helping lead everything on the day of but her name escapes me....sorry!).
On the day of, neither of us could stop smiling. It truly was the most magical day and made that way thanks to every single one of the Spencer's team who clearly enjoy what they do as it translates into the care and hospitality they showed to us and our guests. The food and drinks were so good, highly recommend the beef tenderloin and late night poutine.

Making Dreams Come True!
Wedding (June 30, 2025)
However, what we appreciated the most was the Spencer's Special Events Team. They did an absolutely phenomenal job at making this process as stress-free as possible. We were assigned a wedding coordinator (Lyndsay) and she was extremely detailed in her approach. During our check-in meetings, we explained to her our vision for our wedding and she was able to ask us question we never thought of. This was extremely helpful because it helped turn our vision into something we could implement. Lyndsay's attention to detail really made us confident that we were in the right hands throughout the process.
The menu tasting experience was also really fun. The Spencer's staff and sommelier explained to us all the food and wine options we had, and were really informative. The food was also all amazing.
During our wedding day, our maitre d' from Spencer's was so kind and accommodating. The wedding day went by FAST - one thing after another, it was constant. It's hard to take care of ourselves during a hectic day such as making sure we had time to even eat. But our maitre d' made us feel comfortable, giving us food, drink, and anything we needed to make sure we were enjoying our own wedding.
Overall, it was such a magical experience. The beauty of the venue had a large role, but the Spencer's team themselves played just as important of a role in making the day run smoothly. We wish we could re-live the wedding day at Spencer's, but future anniversary brunches there will have to do.

Now back home, she is thrilled to be part of the Pearle Family as a Special Event Consultant.
