My wife and I had our wedding at Spencer’s this past weekend, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish.
From the very beginning, the food tasting experience was incredible high quality, thoughtfully prepared, and a clear preview of what was to come. On the wedding day itself, Spencer’s absolutely delivered. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food, the service, and the stunning venue.
Working with Lyndsay and Ben was an absolute pleasure. They set the standard for what hospitality and professionalism should look like. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made the entire process feel seamless and well-managed. The entire Spencer’s team was attentive, organized, and genuinely cared about making our day special.
One thing that really stood out to us, especially having attended many weddings as guests, was the bar service. At a lot of weddings, you can tell the alcohol is watered down. That was definitely not the case here. Spencer’s delivered quality across the board, and it didn’t go unnoticed by our guests.
When it comes to value, Spencer’s is truly second to none. The level of service, food quality, and overall experience you receive far exceeds expectations.
We would highly recommend this venue without hesitation. Our wedding exceeded everything we imagined, and many of our guests said it was one of, if not the best weddings they’ve ever attended. -

Spencer's was the second venue we toured in our planning process and it immediately captured us. We knew it would be such a gorgeous place to celebrate our love and commitment and start this next chapter in our lives.
The Observatory is absolutely stunning with such a picturesque view of the lake - it has some very nice unique touches that add elegance, romance and whimsy.
Unfortunately initial numbers didn't work so our search continued. Nothing felt right and we kept looking back at Spencer's. After some time, we reached back out to the team to discuss alternative options and were able to work with the incredibly flexible team to find a date that worked!
Throughout the entire planning process, each contact with the team was timely, professional, and reassured us that we had made the right decision. Not a single member of the team left anything other than a positive impression and we thank everyone so much! We offer special thanks to Alex, Ben, and Kaveli (as well as one other team member who was helping lead everything on the day of but her name escapes me....sorry!).
On the day of, neither of us could stop smiling. It truly was the most magical day and made that way thanks to every single one of the Spencer's team who clearly enjoy what they do as it translates into the care and hospitality they showed to us and our guests. The food and drinks were so good, highly recommend the beef tenderloin and late night poutine.

Our Wedding At Spencer’s At The Waterfront
Our wedding at Spencer’s At The Waterfront was an absolute dream! From the very beginning, the team was beyond accommodating—they went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect and that we felt taken care of. The staff was attentive, professional, and so kind throughout the entire day and through the entire process. To top it all off, they even surprised us with a beautiful personalized gift at the end of the night—an engraved knife set with both our names and wedding date—which was such a thoughtful and surprising touch we’ll cherish forever. We couldn’t imagine a better place to celebrate our wedding and are so grateful to the entire team for making our day unforgettable!!Spencer's at The Waterfront's reply:

Making Dreams Come True!
Truly the best day from start to finish! The staff, the food and of course the views were unmatched. The attenion to detail, kindness and love made us feel so special. We got married on June 30, 2025 at Spencer's. What drew us in from the beginning was how beautiful the venue was. When we did our walk-through a year ago, we really loved the the tall glass windows by the waterfront. On the wedding day, nothing prepared us for how beautiful it was in the evening. With the sun setting, and the dimly lit room being illuminated by candles, it really turned the wedding day into a magical experience.
However, what we appreciated the most was the Spencer's Special Events Team. They did an absolutely phenomenal job at making this process as stress-free as possible. We were assigned a wedding coordinator (Lyndsay) and she was extremely detailed in her approach. During our check-in meetings, we explained to her our vision for our wedding and she was able to ask us question we never thought of. This was extremely helpful because it helped turn our vision into something we could implement. Lyndsay's attention to detail really made us confident that we were in the right hands throughout the process.
The menu tasting experience was also really fun. The Spencer's staff and sommelier explained to us all the food and wine options we had, and were really informative. The food was also all amazing.
During our wedding day, our maitre d' from Spencer's was so kind and accommodating. The wedding day went by FAST - one thing after another, it was constant. It's hard to take care of ourselves during a hectic day such as making sure we had time to even eat. But our maitre d' made us feel comfortable, giving us food, drink, and anything we needed to make sure we were enjoying our own wedding.
Overall, it was such a magical experience. The beauty of the venue had a large role, but the Spencer's team themselves played just as important of a role in making the day run smoothly. We wish we could re-live the wedding day at Spencer's, but future anniversary brunches there will have to do. -

Flawless Coordination, Stunning Venue, Incredible Food!
We had our wedding at Spencer’s and it was truly perfect from start to finish. The team took such amazing care of us—we were able to fully relax, spend time with our guests, and enjoy every moment of the evening without stress.
Special thanks to Emily, Jon, Ben, and the rest of the incredible Spencer’s crew who helped make our big day so magical. We had our wedding at Spencer’s at the Waterfront and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The entire team was so easy to work with from the start. Emily, our sales manager, was amazing! She made sure everything was organized and every detail was taken care of.
Ben, our event manager, together with our wedding concierge and maitre d went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day. The chefs and staff were all so accommodating and made sure both we and our guests were happy with the food and service.
Jon, the general manager at the restaurant, has always taken great care of us every time we came in for meetings. I’d even make sure to come hungry because I know how good the food is. We’d always stay after to enjoy a meal, and Jon was always there to make sure we were well looked after.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Even though it rained on our wedding day, the space still looked beautiful and felt so special. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the whole experience was everything we hoped for.

From day one, Spencer's was the most perfect experience for our day! They made it incredibly easy to put everything together, customizing what we wanted, and they were there to answer all of our questions throughout. I cannot say enough about Emily and how she made me feel confident in our choices, when we weren't entirely sure, and she recommended photos across the street at the Art Gallery - which was a very smart move in the snowstorm we got married in. On the day of, Ben was the most amazing! He was there to answer any and all questions, and I really didn't feel like I had to worry at all on the day.
