We had the most amazing experience having our wedding at Spencer’s at the Waterfront! From start to finish, everything went so smoothly, and our day turned out absolutely perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a better team to help bring our special day to life. All of our guests had a wonderful time, and we received so many compliments on the venue, food, and the overall experience.
A special thank you to our event coordinator, Lyndsay, who was truly amazing throughout the entire planning process. She was so kind, accommodating, organized, and always there to answer any questions we had. No matter what we needed, she was always helpful and made us feel reassured every step of the way. Having someone so responsive and supportive made such a difference and helped take so much of the stress out of wedding planning.
The entire staff was also wonderful. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and attentive, and it really showed how much care went into making sure everything ran smoothly. On the day of our wedding, we were able to relax, enjoy every moment, and focus on celebrating with our family and friends, knowing that everything was taken care of.
We truly couldn’t be happier with our experience at Spencer’s at the Waterfront. We are so thankful to Lyndsay and the entire team for helping make our wedding day so special and memorable. We would absolutely recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful location with an amazing team behind them. We had an absolutely amazing wedding at Spencer’s at the Waterfront and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We worked with several event coordinators and staff members throughout the planning process and on the day itself, and every interaction was wonderful. Everyone was helpful, accommodating and a pleasure to work with.
The food was delicious, the cocktails were spectacular, and the waterfront venue is stunning. The value for everything you receive is excellent, especially with the flexibility to customize so many details. We felt like we were creating a wedding that reflected us and what we wanted, and the team helped bring it all together beautifully.

From the start to end of our entire wedding process, the team at Spencer’s was professional, responded in a timely manner, and accommodated all our special needs for us and our guests. Their wedding packages took a lot of stressors out for us, such as finding us an officiant, linens and chairs, the food, and so much more that made our wedding planning easier. Thank you to Lyndsay and the special events team for assisting us with any questions we had and fulfilling all our requests!
On the day of our wedding, the team onsite made sure everything ran smoothly. They kept everything on schedule, handled every detail behind the scenes, and checked in with us throughout the night so we never had to worry about a thing. That let us relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food, the drinks, the service, and the beautiful setting.

An Absolutely Perfect Wedding Experience at Spencer’s at the Waterfront ❤️
We cannot thank Lyndsay and the entire Spencer’s at the Waterfront team enough for helping my husband and I plan our wedding every step of the way and bringing our vision to life!
We had so many questions throughout the planning process, but Lyndsay always brought so much clarity and reassurance that wedding planning felt surprisingly easy. From the beginning to the very end, we truly felt supported and taken care of.
Both my Husband and I agree that there is absolutely nothing we would have changed about our wedding day. We, along with all of our guests, absolutely loved Spencer’s at the Waterfront. The food, cocktails, incredibly friendly staff, and the modern yet cozy and intimate atmosphere were some of the things our guests complimented the most. The beautiful weather that day was truly the cherry on top!
Our vendors also mentioned how easy the venue and staff were to work with from the moment they arrived. They especially appreciated the accessible vendor doors, which made setup and transitions so seamless. The transition from our main ceremony to our tea ceremony was also incredibly smooth, thanks to the Spencer’s team and our wedding party.
And thank you so much for the special wedding gift from Spencer’s! We absolutely love the engraved knife set and thought it was such a thoughtful and meaningful touch. It was such a lovely surprise to receive after our wedding.

A long review
We had our wedding August 28th and couldn’t be more thrilled with how it went. Despite having a bit of instability with consultants over the 2 years that we had booked the venue, we ultimately had Nicole and Lyndsay for our final few appointments and they were both absolutely amazing. Both of their attention to detail, excellent organization, quick responses to our questions and updates, and helpful suggestions were so appreciated. Make sure if you book this venue to ask lots of questions about details that are important to you regarding the venue and your contract, and they will likely accommodate your requests. This admittedly was tricky sometimes after having moved through so many different consultants/events staff from the original 2 year appointment and the final 1 year-6 month mark, but ultimately Nicole and Lyndsay were able to assist with everything we needed and we couldn’t be more grateful to them for stepping up to help us and give us stability and consistency in the final stretch.
The team at Spencer’s on the day-of was amazing. We had Abby and Brenna as our day-of team and needless to say they did an amazing job. It was completely stress free for me, my wedding party, and my guests as the team took care of setting everything up for us perfectly (e.g. welcome table decor, table runners, favours, place cards, table numbers, bar signage/decor). They were also quick to refill drinks, ask us if we needed anything at our table, and checked in on us throughout the day to make sure we were all good. Their cleanup at the end of the night was also so efficient and careful, and that made the end of the night and picking our items up the following day super easy. Once again, we and our guests had nothing to worry about on the day-of, and that’s absolutely necessary to a great experience.
I think it almost goes without saying but the food was also amazing of course, and make sure at your menu tasting to ask to try the signature cocktails because those are delicious as well! So many guests complimented the food and the cocktails and the night’s service. The venue also served our cake at late night and had takeaway boxes for leftover snacks and cake at the end of the night which was much appreciated.
Tip: We also booked a Pearle preferred photographer and a DJ from Spencer’s preferred vendors, which I think was an absolute life saver. For anyone planning a wedding at this venue or a Pearle venue, I think it’s SO beneficial to book vendors that are familiar with the space, timeline, and flow of the weddings because it makes the night run so smooth for you as a couple. When your vendors know what to expect and how the venue operates, it will really make your night hassle free and you’ll be able to just leave it to the professionals to take care of everything for you. The preferred vendors and Spencer’s have easy communication because they’re all familiar with each other, so it will make your night and planning so much easier and we really appreciated the good relationship between our vendors and Spencer’s for this reason.
Overall, like I said, we had an amazing wedding night and really can’t thank Spencer’s enough for that. It might seem like a high price point if you’re starting planning (though I never envisioned having my wedding at any venue other than Spencer’s, so I don’t actually have anything to compare price to) but the quality of service, coordination, and food I think is all worth the price. We had about 90 guests for reference. They gave us custom steak knives as a gift and a handwritten card, which is a lovely touch. Our provided officiant Cherie was amazing. And our guests still can’t stop raving about the venue, its beauty, and the wonderful service even over 2 weeks later. Even with a few bumps in our long planning process, I know with everything in totality that the Spencer’s team gave us such an amazing experience on our wedding day and definitely lived up to their high calibre of expectations, and we are so thrilled with the way our wedding went.Spencer's at The Waterfront's reply:

Our experience with Spencer’s at the Waterfront was wonderful from start to finish. From our very first meeting with Lyndsay, we felt that we were in very experienced and capable hands. She clearly knows weddings inside and out, but what stood out most was how much she genuinely loves what she does.
Planning a wedding on your own can be overwhelming, but the team made the process feel much easier. Everyone was responsive, helpful, and always willing to provide guidance when we needed it. Having a team that was so accessible and supportive throughout the planning process gave us a lot of peace of mind.
The rehearsal was also extremely helpful. Our coordinator was patient, thorough, and made sure we understood exactly how everything would flow, which made the actual day feel very smooth and organized.
Overall, Spencer’s is an incredible venue, but what really made our experience stand out was the people. We felt supported from beginning to end and could truly enjoy our wedding day knowing everything was in good hands. We would absolutely recommend Spencer’s to couples looking for a venue with an experienced and caring team.

Peter and Sally wedding
We had our wedding at Spencer’s, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more.
From the very beginning, the entire team was incredibly supportive, organized, and professional. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Spencer’s made the process feel seamless. Everything was structured and well thought out, which gave us so much confidence throughout the planning journey.
Our day-of coordinator was absolutely amazing. She attended our rehearsal, answered all of our questions, and made us feel completely at ease before the big day. Throughout the evening, she checked in on us regularly and made sure everything was running smoothly. Her attentiveness and kindness allowed us to relax and fully enjoy every moment.
The venue itself is stunning, and the waterfront views created the perfect backdrop for our wedding. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything was. The food and drinks were also a huge hit, and we received so many compliments from our family and friends.
Every detail came together perfectly, and our wedding day felt truly magical. Choosing Spencer’s was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process. In fact, it was love at first sight—I remember having brunch there over 15 years ago and thinking it would be my dream wedding venue one day. Having that dream come true exceeded all expectations.

We had the most incredible wedding at Spencer’s at the Waterfront on June 7, 2026, and we cannot thank the team enough for making our day so special!
From the very beginning, Lyndsay was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, organized, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. She made sure every detail was taken care of and helped us feel confident that everything would come together perfectly. Her guidance and support played a huge role in making our wedding day run so smoothly.
On the day itself, the entire Spencer’s staff went above and beyond. Everyone was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience possible. We especially want to recognize Ben, who was incredibly helpful throughout the day. My husband was feeling some wedding-day nerves, and Ben’s kindness, reassurance, and support meant so much to him.
Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and truly went off without a hitch. We were able to relax and enjoy every moment because we knew we were in such capable hands.
