The Most Perfect Day!!

My husband and I got married in September at C Hotel and it was the definition of perfect! From our first meeting and introduction with Terry right until check-out the day after, everything they did was amazing. Our wedding coordinator, Lexi, was fantastic to work with and made sure everything looked and felt exactly as we wanted it to! Our day-of coordinator, Cosetta, was fantastic as well - her team made the whole day run as smooth as we could have ever hoped! The food for the evening was provided by C Hotel’s award-winning in-house restaurant, Baci, and everything was delicious! All our meals, including some made with severe dietary restrictions, were amazing! Our DJ, Lennox, was also fantastic, accommodating all requests and keeping the party going right to the end of the night! C Hotel was amazing at putting the whole day together for us, and we can’t thank them enough for a beautiful day!

All inclusive Wedding Packages

They have multiple wedding packages that can be quite flexible and prices to match your preferences.

The coordinator was quite disorganized and two weeks before the wedding she was unavailable and had various excuses. A week to my wedding she quit. The transition of this wasn't very smooth as I was only informed since I was persistent.

The hotel rooms for the married couple aren't anything special. However, they are clean.

My overall experience is 3 out of 5. I had to pay additional for my cake tasting which was not included. It was as if I was inconveniencing the baker with wanting samples and the baker at the time was in the family of the owners and she was not responsive.

Communication of the entire team was subpar. The food options were fine, nothing spectacular. The Dj process was unorganized as well.

Feedback on Our Wedding on Friday October 18, 2024

Dear C-Hotel Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some feedback regarding our wedding day on Friday, October 18, 2024, in the hopes that it can help improve the experience for future couples.

While we were excited about our celebration, I found that communication could be significantly improved. I was passed between three different wedding coordinators leading up to the big day, and each time, I had to reiterate my vision for the event. For instance, the arrangement of candles on the head table was only finalized a couple of hours before the ceremony, and I had to remind the maitre d’ about this detail after initially discussing it.

On the wedding day itself, there seemed to be a lack of coordination. My maid of honor, who was designated as the point person for the day, was not contacted by the staff to ensure everything was in order. I had to ask her to check on various details, which added to the pre-ceremony stress. Additionally, the lanterns intended for the outdoor ceremony were still in the reception room a couple hours before the event. When I inquired with the maitre d’, I was told I needed to organize someone to move them outside, which was unexpected and frustrating given my pre-wedding nerves.

Each time I raised a concern, I was met with the response that I needed to figure it out myself. For example, I had my phone ready to read my vows and present the marriage license to the officiant, but I was informed that I needed to find someone to deliver it for me. This added unnecessary pressure as it was almost time to walk down the aisle. Thankfully, my photographer stepped in to assist during this critical moment.

The outdoor speaker was not functioning properly during the ceremony, causing significant disruption. As a result, our officiant had to set aside the microphone and rely on his voice to be heard, which was frustrating given the investment we made in ensuring everything would run smoothly. It was disappointing that this technical aspect was not checked prior to the ceremony, as it directly impacted the experience for our guests, particularly those seated at the back who struggled to hear the proceedings clearly.

Lastly, our maître d' could have had a more engaging demeanor. Her responses were often short, she rarely smiled, and she didn’t seem enthusiastic about our experience. After addressing her attitude and expressing our concerns a couple of times, she became a bit more cheerful and started to assist us more towards the end of the evening. Overall, this added unnecessary stress to our experience.

We appreciate the efforts of your team, but I believe that clearer communication and more proactive support could greatly enhance the experience for future couples.
Over all we chose not to let this ruin our day but it easily could have. I would give our overall experience a rating 3/5 star.

Regards,
Marc & Kristen Rechter

October Wedding Wonder

We had an incredible wedding ceremony and celebration at C Hotel. Our ceremony was on the one rooftop with the Dolce Room for the dinner and reception as well. Cosetta was outstanding as our Maitre D and her team of servers and bar staff were incredible as well! The view from the rooftop during our late afternoon wedding added to the already amazing location, along with the sunset pictures on the rooftop! Our photographer, Nicole Robbins, expertly leaned into the sunset and rooftop locale for fabulous photos!

Not what we asked for

We had our wedding on the dolce rooftop in July and unfortunately the venue did not deliver what was planned. We asked to not use their planters and were told that wouldn't be a problem so we bought our own but the day of their planters with dead flowers were front and center in our ceremony space. We were told all day that they couldn't be moved until staff arrived at 3pm so we set up around them and then at 3pm were told they were too large to move so close to the ceremony time so all of our photos have these giant planters that don't go with our esthetics at all. My mother in law was weeding and deadheading their planters moments before the ceremony to try to make them more presentable.

One reasons we chose this venue was because there was so much included in the package. Unfortunately when we sat down for dinner we noticed that they forgot to set the tables with bread plates so we had our bread service with only napkins and Chargers on the table. When we asked the maitre d about the lack of bread plates she told us they don't habr bread plates. When I described what they looked like when we picked them out she said "oh, we don't really use those anymore" and walked away.
We chose plain blue napkins and got floral blue napkins. We chose for the napkins to be folded vertically across the charger and instead they were tucked under the charger so the blue wasn't really visible. The wedding cake was included in our package and we chose the 6in cake with cupcakes on a tiered stand. Unfortunately all that was displayed on the cake table was the 6in cake on a dinner plate. When we asked the maitre d if she could bring out our cupcakes to display on the stand we picked out she said no but that she'd "write it in our file so they knew we didn't get what we asked for". Our maitre d went MIA after serving out main course so after a 45 minute delay I asked the servers why we hadn't gotten dessert yet and they said they didn't know when to serve it because the maitre d wasn't there. We carried on without her, had dessert, all 5 speeches, cut the cake and then she reappeared asking if we were almost ready to start the speeches.

I was extremely disappointed with the maitre d we were assigned and the lack of attention to detail for our set up. In the year leading up to our wedding the hotel went through 6 wedding coordinators so I was nervous things would get missed but we had multiple meetings (including 2 days before the wedding) and all of our choices were confirmed on our digital profile that I could see. I'm not sure why the set up went so wrong when the detailed instructions were correct in my profile.

I reached out with my feedback from the night and was told that the maitre d didn't think there were any problems so all they could do was offer us a free dinner in the restaurant.

If you care about the details this isn't the venue for you. It is an affordable option and we had a fantastic wedding, despite the issues from the c hotel, not because of the c hotel. Luckily the things that went wrong for us were not noticeable for the guests and we were still able to have a beautiful wedding. If you book here just make sure you bring a lot of your own decor and hire your own day of coordinator.

Affordable, you get what you pay for

Our coordinator Lexi was very helpful throughout the short planning process. We booked a year out but were not allowed to start planning until March and our wedding was early September. Our day of coordinator Natalia was nice but seemed very new maybe because she wasn't very capable. Though we sent in our music list on their due date somehow no one noticed they didn't have it ready until approx 10min before the ceremony which was stressful as it was a very particular piece for the aisle walk. She kept coming to me, the bride, for help, and not to our established wedding party contact. My mother had to step in to solve it. This is just one example of her rushing around frazzled when things didn't work out and not going to our wedding party contact. We expressed several times on the day not to come to us, the bride and groom unless it was a serious emergency our contact could not solve. The DJ did not play a lot of the music we had sent and I again assume it was because no one noticed on their side they didn't have it until last minute although I have email confirmation saying they received it well in advance. The serving staff were all friendly and professional. The outdoor chairs remained dirty even after being assured they would be cleaned the morning of, and I had some guests remark they had marks on their clothing from it. No wedding is perfect of course but the things that went wrong came from the venue, not happenstance, which is irritating.
We were quoted at roughly 9K$ for reception space and menu and decor, with the additional costs of ceremony space, and elevated guest numbers (min quote was 75, we had 100 people) so tallied around 15K$ which isn't bad at all for 2023 prices.

Very bad experience

Long story short… 20 minutes before our ceremony the room wasn’t set up. Nobody had a clue that we were doing the ceremony there. I had to set the room up with the groomsman to make sure the room was ready for the ceremony. The food was the most disappointing… their “antipasti” was two triangles of cheese (orange cheddar and looked like a white cheddar) with a “canned roasted red pepper” next was the pasta…. Came out and pasta was rock hard as if it was sitting under a heat lamp for 30min (which I found out that it was in a hold chaffer for too long) then the main course came out.. dry chicken supreme and cold beef medallion's. Lastly was our dessert, the bride had egg shells in her dessert, along with a bunch of our guests.
When we sat down with the organizer they sounded like they knew what they were doing. We were so excited to have a place that offered everything all in one place but what we got was not worth the money.
When I asked for compensation they offered me dinner for my wife and I… we denied it. The last thing we want is to eat more of that food. We asked for financial reimbursement and their offer was 500$ out of the thousands we gave them.

Amazing Venue

C-Hotel by Carmen’s was fantastic! Their “all in one” package was a great deal. Almost everything was included and no other venue could beat it amongst the list we were going through when we first started looking for a venue. I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking for a wedding venue.

Great but not AMAZING

We absolutely loved our wedding and it was the perfect day but leading up to the big day there was a serious lack of repose and communication from the venue.
During the tour they tell you it’s all included but I would still highly recommend hiring a day of coordinator.
DJ fully admitted he hit play on a Spotify list so if your looking for transitions between songs, etc hire your own DJ
Food was exactly how our menu tasting was and everyone said how great and plentiful it was!
I would suggest this venue if your looking for a traditional wedding but if your looking to add your own spin, switch up the timeline, etc maybe find somewhere that supports more of your creativity as they were pretty strict with following the same day of plan for all events.
