Christine and the staff at Urban Bride were wonderful to work with. I had 2 separate visits with 2 consultants (the first consultant went on maternity leave after my appointment), and I also used Urban Bride to clean/steam my dress before my wedding (an upgraded package you can add-on to your dress purchase for a VERY reasonable price).
All 3 visits were comfortable, and courteous. Christine and her staff certainly know how to treat their customers.
Urban Bride has the sizing, styling, and price-point for I think any bride shopping in Edmonton.
I have been recommending UB to everyone who will listen since I purchased my dress, and I will continue to recommend them until people stop listening lol -

Urban Bride was my first stop on my search for *the* dress. There was no need for me to go anywhere else; they have an amazing selection which can suit a variety of budgets. The location is absolutely adorable and quaint. Your shopping experience feels so special and intimate as you are in your own large fitting room with one-on-one assistance. Staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and really picked up on what I liked/didn’t like without me needing to even explain it! I never felt any pressure from the staff either - it truly felt like I was shopping with a friend who really knew their stuff. It was an absolutely amazing experience, and had I known ahead of time how awesome it was going to be I honestly would not have booked appointments anywhere else. I found my dress during my first visit and could not be happier! Thank you so much to Urban Bride. I could not recommend them enough! -

Very welcoming and professional. I am so indecisive, and they took good care of my needs and wants. Both consultant made me feel comfortable with making the right choice and were honest with what fit right for y body type. I enjoyed my visit, actually loved it because I found my dress a year before my wedding and I still love it!!! -

Can I not recommend this place enough! I found a whole bunch of dresses that fit me, were in my price range, and looked great! I have been to a few other stores and this was the one where I finally bought my dress! It was a second hand gown, but it was in perfect shape, and about 65% the price of the original dress. I want to thank both Christine and the lovely ladies there (the one with the lucky clover tattoo, I'm so sorry I forget your name!). I had had a really bad day the day I went to try on dresses. The staff could tell I was overwhelmed by the end of the appt, so they suggested I come back in a few days when I feel more like myself. There was no pressure to buy, or anything. I came in a few days later and bought the dress I had liked from the first appt. Thank you! :)
I did do a few alterations to my dress to make it my own, like adding purple silk belt and purple tulle to under the dress.
Edit: My wedding got postponed (thanks covid), and even after a year when I call in with questions they are super friendly and lovely! I'm excited to get married this summer now! -

I'm so glad that my friend recommended Urban Bride Delivered. I went here a year before my wedding and had set my budget to under $1000. I tried on many dresses but wasn't completely sold on any of them. I was then taken to the rack of dresses and told that I had tried on everything in the style I wanted and within my budget. She showed me the next price range up and I picked out the dress I fell in the love with. They then measured me to make sure the right size was ordered. My dress came in in August which was much earlier than expected. My family and I were treated very well and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone else getting married. -

I was referred to this boutique by a close friend of mine, saying it was great service. When I went to try on dresses, I had a set budget, yet I was put into dresses that exceeded it, by alot. Once I found one that I loved, it fit me like a glove, would only need a slight simple hem, so I ordered it from them. After many months of anxious phone calls looking for an update when my dress would be delivered (was supposed to be delivered first week of August) it was finally delivered Sept 25th, 5 days before my wedding. I live in Canmore so Christine, the owner, was clear that it needed to be altered the day I came in to try it on & pick it up. Once I got there & tried it on, it felt like they ordered me a size to big, meaning it needed alot more alterations than initially decided on before. I was then told I was responsible to pay for the rush alterations (not the seamstress fault, Christine did not relay that info to her) Christine refused to work with me or help me out, giving me a huge alteration bill which was not discussed previously. The seamstress got it done that day, and did a wonderful job! My dress was perfect, but Christine's service was unbelievably unacceptable, disrespectful & I would NOT recommend anyone go there. My mom paid $1000 for my dress & Christine made a comment saying "because your dress was so cheap, were not making any money off of you anyways, so I will pay the rush fee for the alterations". Isn't this supposed to be a consignment store??? Would not recommend.
