Jenna was so professional and fun to work with on our wedding day this past July. It was honestly impressive to see how she juggled all the tiny details of our wedding day - playing music on a speaker for our first dance, putting donuts on our donut wall, setting up and taking down decor, and managing vendors onsite to name a few. She was also available before our big day for a venue walk-through, and to help us go through the flow of the ceremony at our rehearsal dinner. Jenna was super easy to communicate with and was always flexible to answer questions over email or Zoom. We would not have had such an amazing day without Jenna and her team!

We hired Jenna as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding day and it was one of the best decisions we made! She was so incredible to work with from start to finish. Following our reception, not only did Jenna and her team take down all our decor but she offered to store our items for us so that we could fully enjoy our wedding weekend. Highly recommend using Somethingnew YYC wedding planning. Jenna and Kim allowed my husband and I to fully enjoy the day with zero stress. Jenna was very helpful is planning leading up to the wedding and did everything behind the scenes the day of. I gave her free eange is setting up the decor and it was beautiful. I hired Jenna to do event design planning as well as the wedding day coordinator. She had good reviews and at the beginning, she seemed attentive and organized. However, soon after signing the contract and putting the deposit down I felt there was a lack of communication. There was emails that were never answered and when asked she had responded that her assistant had opened them without her knowledge. I would send multiple emails and it would take over a week for a response. It took months to get a mock up table decor. It wasn't until the month of the wedding that she started communicating more about the wedding decor. At this time I had figured most of the decor details on my own. Jenna was still asking decor questions a few days before the wedding day. I feel like these details should have been addressed much earlier. There were some positives as Jenna did make it all look beautiful in the end but she did forget some details. Overall, it was a stressful time planning a wedding. I expected more from Jenna. Hope this helps future brides out when looking for a wedding planner/day of coordinator.

Amazing experience working with Jenna from Something New Wedding Planning. Through the whole process, she was responsive, provided great advice, was supportive of our hopes and ideas for our wedding, and on the day of, she ensured everything went smoothly. She decorated the venue exactly how I had envisioned, helped order our late night snack pizza that evening, and was so helpful in cleanup. Would highly recommend.
