Kari is professional, resourceful, well connected with strong and long-standing relationships with vendors and venues, and perhaps most importantly does a great job keeping you calm during the stressful wedding moments. We hired Kari in the very beginning of our planning in early 2020 to be our “day of planner” for our wedding that was scheduled to take place later that year in July. And even though we had only hired her to be our day-of coordinator, she was always willing to help when we had questions, was frequently checking in with us to see if there was anything she could help with, and consistently responded in a timely manner to emails and texts. When COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions forced us to postpone and ultimately cancel our wedding, Kari was there to help. She helped us stay calm, shared updates about the status of COVID in Toronto (since we live in the US) and was always there to offer moral support. Over the course of our time working with Kari, it became clear that she is a highly plugged-in professional with a strong network of relationships with vendors and venues. We will always be grateful to Kari for her support and advice, and would highly recommend her to others.

We decided to get married in August, 2020. We hired Kari Lywood to help us create the wedding of our dreams. She came to us highly recommended by many of our friends, and we couldn't be happier to have chosen her to plan our backyard wedding! Simply the best!
Kari is the best wedding planner in the universe. Working with her was a dream. She is the most organized, caring and calm person, even in the most stressful and challenging of situations. She has fantastic ideas and tips to make the day super special.
As a COVID bride, the many cancellations, postponements and changes of plan were hard. Kari was understanding, positive, thought of options and always offered to help.
She listened extensively and paired me with the perfect vendors for my style and taste. I am so pleased with how our day turned out!
