We are so grateful for U'Swanky Events for helping us pull together the perfect wedding day. We were new to Calgary and we knew we needed help with getting vendors and just putting everything together. Magdalene helped us with this and much more. Having Uswanky events as our wedding planner made the seemingly impossible achievable! She came through for us in so many ways, despite restrictions, constant changes and depressing conditions. Based of the forecast there was going to be rain and snow on the day of out outdoor wedding. We had to change the date 2 days to the wedding. This wedding planner extraordinaire was able to rapidly convert our wedding rehearsal day to the main event. She handled all the vendors, and it was an amazing day for us. We highly recommend her services.

Aunty Meg like I fondly call her was amazing. Working with her to plan my wedding was just nothing short of a blessing especially during the period of a global pandemic. She was always very professional and timely during meetings. Her attention to detail is such a gift that helped me go to bed reassured that I was in excellent hands. She was also so flexible, consistent, understanding and reassuring with her words.

Being of Nigerian descent, I had to have a 2 day wedding ceremony and as you can imagine, doing that during a pandemic posed a huge challenge. I’m so proud to say both of my wedding ceremonies turned out so beautifully, well planned and organized while adhering to COVID guidelines. She worked relentlessly to bring my vision to life and laid all my worries to rest. She also worked so well with the vendors.

I absolutely had no regrets having her plan my wedding. She’s the absolute best.

We hired Magdalene to coordinate the day of the wedding. She went above and beyond her tasks. She followed up with us early in the month and a few days before, kept vendors, bridal party, and us informed, on schedule, and stress free. She gave us great tips for improving the function on the wedding day and was hands on throughout. She took initiative to beautifully setup decorations we had left the day before and to remind us of important program details. She really stepped up to the plate to ensure the wedding day went off without a hitch and we are so impressed and thankful!

This was a surprise wedding anniversary party. It was done so well, I have to credit Magdelene for her meticulous planning.
