Where do I even begin? From the moment we met Angela, we knew we had found someone truly special. She didn’t just officiate our wedding, she became a part of our journey and created something so unique and personal that guests were genuinely asking, “Where did you find her?!” Angela was professional, patient, and above all, warm and welcoming. What stood out most was how she made everything feel like more than just a business transaction, it felt like we were planning with a friend. That alone helped ease my anxiety, especially coming from a Caribbean family where the traditional approach often includes a pastor. Angela respected that and even offered to work with a pastor of our choice if we wanted but I was so comfortable with her that I trusted her completely and chose to leave it all in her capable hands. From our very first meeting, Angela made time to get to know us and our story. Ours isn’t the typical "boy meets girl" situation, we’ve been together for many years and have several children. She not only embraced our unique story but honored it in a way that made the ceremony feel deeply personal and inclusive. One highlight was a beautiful “ring warming” moment with our children, something many guests had never seen before and still talk about.

What also stood out was how incredibly organized and attentive Angela was. While some vendors didn’t even ask about our theme, color palette, or the names and contact info of our wedding party, Angela made sure to collect all those details without us needing to prompt her. She even helped me finalize my itinerary, offering structure and clarity when I needed it most. She truly wore many hats, more than just an officiant, she stepped in as a coordinator, a mentor, a friend, and a calming guide through the entire process.
Angela also went above and beyond behind the scenes. She arrived super early, well beyond what was required in the contract, just to make sure everything was in place. That showed us she truly loves what she does and isn't just in it for the money. She even subtly matched her attire to our wedding theme – a thoughtful touch that didn’t go unnoticed! During the ceremony, there were a few small hiccups (as weddings often have), but Angela handled them so gracefully and discreetly that no one even noticed. She also gave us so much helpful guidance, not just about the ceremony itself, but tips on what to say, how to move, and how to make the whole experience feel natural.

One of the most touching gestures was a heartfelt, personalized letter she wrote just for my husband and me. It was written on a beautiful template and full of kind words congratulating us on our journey. It meant so much to us, and we will be cherishing it forever as part of our wedding album.

Angela is down-to-earth, respectful, non-judgmental, and incredibly talented at what she does. I have zero complaints, only immense gratitude. We would recommend her a million times over.

Enduring Promises gave us the choice of a few different officiants but we went with Sharon because of her professional and classic presentation style. She was very responsive to emails and willing to help with whatever we needed. The platform they provided for crafting the ceremony script allowed for the inclusion of a lot of details and it was easy to use. Sharon was a great help on the day of the wedding in terms of organizing our ceremony without a rehearsal! We only had a little bit of time to organize because our bridal party arrived late to the venue but Sharon was there early and despite the limited time available, helped us put on a great ceremony! She brought the same confident and professional style that we expected and elevated the level of our ceremony. She also remains responsive and helpful in the weeks after the wedding takes place. Ron was warm, engaging, and had a lovely speaking voice. He told our love story beautifully and we received many compliments on our ceremony. He was organized and arrived early to our ceremony. We appreciated that he was calm and collected through a few big gusts of wind flipping the pages of his ceremony binder!

One of our favourite parts of working with Enduring Promises was the ability to craft the ceremony content. For each section (e.g., welcome, ring exchange), we were able to draft our own text or choose from (and edit) provided examples. This meant that our ceremony aligned with our values and preferences perfectly.

The Enduring Promises team and Ron were thoughtful about many small details that had a major positive impact on our experience. For example, we were sent a reminder to bring our wedding licence, and the wedding date/time/location was confirmed multiple times. We always received prompt responses to our questions. Ron asked what colour suit would best complement our wedding colours and the ceremony text was sent to us after the wedding so that we can look back on it in the future.

Mike officiated our wedding and he was wonderful. Calm, professional, friendly, helpful, reassuring. Creating our ceremony was easy and he already knew how to do a hand fasting ceremony. Our ceremony went perfectly and I got a lot of compliments that people could hear him even without a mic. It was a wonderful experience.

Paul was the perfect officiant for our wedding. He has such a kind and comforting presence that instantly put us at ease on such a big day. His calm nature set the perfect tone, and we couldn’t have imagined a better person to marry us.

He even gave me some pointers to ensure we get some great photos and to ensure my veil didn't get caught on the arch we had when I returned to the front after signing our license haha.
