We had an excellent experience with our wedding officiant, Richard Bristow. From the very beginning, he was incredibly organized, which made the entire process feel stress-free. He met with us twice prior to the wedding to discuss the ceremony, offered thoughtful examples of elements we could include, and provided helpful feedback on the ceremony draft we created.
On the wedding day, he arrived early and took the time to speak with all guests involved in the ceremony, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and prepared. Both of us would like to sincerely thank you for officiating our wedding and treating our special day with so much care. We both felt that we could rely on you completely, as you showed up on time and well prepared.
His professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out, and it showed in how smoothly the ceremony flowed. We had Tim Schwindt as our officiant and we couldn't have been happier! Our guests actually commented that they thought he was someone who knew us in our personal lives because he truly took the time to get to know us and make our ceremony perfect! Even though we only met with him a few times over zoom, it did feel like he was a friend from a long time ago. He had a great presence and demeanor that fit right into our crowd. If anything, we wish we had him there for longer!

Enduring Promises gave us the choice of a few different officiants but we went with Sharon because of her professional and classic presentation style. She was very responsive to emails and willing to help with whatever we needed. The platform they provided for crafting the ceremony script allowed for the inclusion of a lot of details and it was easy to use. Sharon was a great help on the day of the wedding in terms of organizing our ceremony without a rehearsal! We only had a little bit of time to organize because our bridal party arrived late to the venue but Sharon was there early and despite the limited time available, helped us put on a great ceremony! She brought the same confident and professional style that we expected and elevated the level of our ceremony. She also remains responsive and helpful in the weeks after the wedding takes place. We had an amazing experience working with Enduring Promises and our officiant, Ron Shantz! They exceeded our expectations, and we would recommend them to any couple.
Ron was warm, engaging, and had a lovely speaking voice. He told our love story beautifully and we received many compliments on our ceremony. He was organized and arrived early to our ceremony. We appreciated that he was calm and collected through a few big gusts of wind flipping the pages of his ceremony binder!
One of our favourite parts of working with Enduring Promises was the ability to craft the ceremony content. For each section (e.g., welcome, ring exchange), we were able to draft our own text or choose from (and edit) provided examples. This meant that our ceremony aligned with our values and preferences perfectly.
The Enduring Promises team and Ron were thoughtful about many small details that had a major positive impact on our experience. For example, we were sent a reminder to bring our wedding licence, and the wedding date/time/location was confirmed multiple times. We always received prompt responses to our questions. Ron asked what colour suit would best complement our wedding colours and the ceremony text was sent to us after the wedding so that we can look back on it in the future.
