Pillar and post was just what we were looking for. Rustic. The staff were accommodating, helpful and on point with the food. The food was exquisite. The servers did an amazing job and the wedding coordinator was extremely helpful.

Both the staff and location were truly fantastic. While we had a series of event coordinators, we were well transitioned from one to the next in the year leading to the wedding, and we always knew who we could contact with a question, and we always received quick and helpful ... View more responses. In particular, Lorraine, was a godsend in the year leading up to the wedding. On the weekend of the wedding, Kristi was a fantastic help from beginning to end. If we had a question or concern, she was on top of it right away. Truly a cut above in both quality of food and venue, as well as fast and courteous service.

We had an amazing time at our wedding at the Pillar and Post. The staff was there for us every step of the way and were always eager to answer questions and provide any information we needed. The packages included everything we needed and we didn't need to use a lot of outside ... View more vendors. Pricing and the contract process was super clear with no surprises. On the day of, things could not have been smoother. Katie and the team had everything covered. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. All of our guests loved the quality of the food, accommodations and the location. Everything about it was pretty much perfect and we look forward to visiting the Pillar and Post when we are able to enjoy the amenities of the hotel as guests, as we missed out at the wedding as we were too busy.

Amazing venue. Kate and Lorraine were fabulous to deal with. Anthony the Banquet Captain was INCREDIBLE, even checked in on us the days following the wedding. Food was to die for. They were always there to help and make sure whatever we needed got done. Callie the Front Desk ... View more Manager was incredible as well. Even when we had hiccups, they made sure we were looked after like royalty!!

My husband and I got married at the Pillar and Post this past weekend, and for the most part had a good experience with selecting the Pillar and Post as our venue. During the wedding planning process, there was a change in staff but we felt that both Kate and Katie did a good job ... View more job with helping us to carry out our vision. What we weren't impressed with were a few things: about a month before the wedding (which was held in mid-November) we got an email stating that there would be "tasteful" Christmas decorations up throughout the hotel, including in both our ceremony and reception spaces and we basically had no ability to say no to this matter. Although they did eventually hold off on decorating the ceremony and reception spaces, it's pretty stressful to hear a month before our (totally not Christmas-themed wedding) that the space we saw and signed a contract on would look completely different! Another thing that gave us some difficulty is that 10 days before the wedding, we were told that our reception space had been booked until 4 pm by another group on the day of our wedding. As our ceremony started at 4 pm in another location, this meant that we literally had no time to do any of the decorating that we had planned, as we'd already be walking down the aisle! Kate and the team at the Pillar and Post did a great job of decorating the room and carrying out our vision, but as a former bride I can say that it's hugely stressful that the hotel would have done that!! Not being able to see the space set up before our wedding was probably one of the most stressful parts of the day for us, and it could have totally been avoided if the hotel had not booked the other group into the space just before our big day. On the bright side, the venue looked beautiful and the food was amazing on the day of. The serving staff were super attentive and the bridal suite was spacious and perfect to get ready in. Other than those few hiccups, we had a great wedding day.
