Well there is a first time for everything
I have never written a review of a banquet hall. The reason for this is that, when you are feeding a large group of people, the quality of the food inevitably goes down. This was not the case this past Saturday when my daughter got married. I was impressed by the calibre of the food and the price of it. We started off with appetizers which included Spring Rolls, Breaded Shrimps, Oriental Noodles (in little tiny Chinese food containers that were so cute) Satay, and my personal faves the Insalata Caprese on a stick (AWESOME). Then came the Hummus with Harissa Paste, this little detail elevated the Hummus and it is something that I going to have to try at home myself. The next course was a slender slice of cucumber surrounding some greens in dressing, some cherry tomatoes and a crepe stuffed with mushrooms. I must say that this little crepe was the highlight of the night for me. Then came the meat... The steak you could cut with a butter knife, it was incredibly well prepared (my guess is that they sous vide the lot of them) It was perfect. The chicken breast beside it was also juicy and very well prepared. Root veg included Potatoes, Beets, Zucchini and roasted carrots. Desert was a mini lava cake flanked by half a stewed pear. I do not think there was a bad comment on the food to be had.Sent on 22/09/2020
The hall was decorated by digital video projectors which were putting seamless vistas all around the room. This venue is under new ownership and if you are looking to host an event, even in this tenuous time, you should look in on these folks.

The Perfect Petite Ceremony
Emil and Julia from The Avenue were ABSOLUTELY amazing. After dealing with the stress of covid-19 and having to adjust our wedding plans, they helped us to put together the perfect intimate ceremony so that we could finally get married. They went above and beyond in all aspects. On very short notice they took care of everything for us and created a stunning atmosphere with beautiful lighting, decor, and musical accompaniment that was even greater than we envisioned. They were so kind and personable and such a pleasure to work with - we would highly recommend them! Thank you so much for making our special day so perfect!Sent on 14/07/2020

Overall fantastic experience and quality
Marla is just a delight - from her demeanor, to her advice, to her recommendations. And the execution on the day-of was fabulous. Everything went according to plan. She informed us of all fees, and gave honest suggestions about everything. I got most of my other vendors through her as well! We had a fully kosher russian jewish wedding for about 100 guests.Sent on 18/02/2020

Great venue! Avenue Banquet Hall is fairly set with a lot of the ways they do things, but they were flexible with things that counted, and that's really the only negative I have to say. The DJ they recommended did a great job, the food is AMAZING, the service is impeccable, and the facilities are fantastic.Sent on 22/05/2019

A few hiccups but would highly recommend!
Marla was excellent and beyond accommodating. Day of however, The bar tender refused to serve even an iced tea or pop without ID. Had to go bridezilla on several staff just to get served non alch- beverages. DJ that was recommended DJ ADAM T....was horrible. I sent him all the music to play and gave a list of must play, he played things I SAID DO NOT PLAY and had many issues with mic being unable to hear speeches. Was very unimpressed about that. The Venue itself...Can not speak higher of them, best Food EVER out of the park! Thanks Marla.Sent on 28/09/2018
