Gorgeous venue
We booked EWG before it had been built, but we couldn't be more happy with the outcome. The renderings developed when we first walked into the empty building were spot on to the final build! The chairs, linens, and sofas were all beautiful! The aesthetic of the place matched exactly what we were going for - rustic modern look. The lights were beautiful and set the mood all night.

We dealt closely with Frances and she was very responsive and flexible throughout the entire process. Even with my constant emailing, she was always quick to reply and answer my questions - especially as we got closer to the date! If you're looking for a rustic feel but with a modern touch to it, EWG has it for you!

Horrible, ruined my wedding
I recently had my wedding reception at EWG. If I could select NO STAR I would. We had an extremely horrible experience from start to finish.

I paid for the upgraded bar package, only to have my bartenders quit an hour before my guest were to arrive . The venue bought in non trained bartenders which were severing shots out of water glasses causing alot of my guest to become very sick. No shot glasses available. No beer bottle opener available. Guest had to use keys to open beer.
I paid for the Cafe bar upgrade because without having this upgrade espresso is not served. The upgrade was described as having a barista onsite all night. Meanwhile the barista server was split between the cafe bar and serving food, which she ended up being covered in pasta sauce (looked like she was involved in a pasta fight) . Also espresso was beings served in large coffee mugs as there was no espresso cups available. My guest had to explain to the teenage girls what a espresso was and how to operate the machine.
Venue was over an hour late to open doors for vendors to set up day of wedding. Week of I was advised of shortage with my table linen choice, I selected another only to have mixed matched linens day of my wedding set up (on duty supervisor was advised and nothing was corrected.
I paid for the antipasto buffet bar, which was not served to the bride, groom, bridal party or parents. When asked at the beginning of dinner where our dishes were we were advised there wasn't any food left (again paid as an upgrade PER PERSON)
I paid for the upgraded duel meat dish to be served (red meat & chicken). Some guests were not served this plate at all, and some received two chickens instead. (Again paid as an upgrade PER PERSON) . Pasta dish was ICE cold and served without cheese or chillies on tables.
All waitstaff was extremely inexperienced. They hire all teenagers with no guidance or direction, so they all look like deers in headlights. When I asked about my wedding cake I was given a dirty looks and attitude .
I had given direction for how my wedding cake is to be served. I had 3 flavors, and only one was out for the guests. When I asked the supervisor Rosa to serve all flavors it took 45 minutes by then everyone had already ate the mid night food.
I paid for venue in full prior to event, and was advised if any issues we would be able to discuss after the event. Upon discussion we were offered a catered dinner, which is a slap in the face. I contacted the OWNER ISSAC DROOKMAN many times and have ALL gone unanswered. This venue does not care about their customers. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone and will make it known.
They have a venue with beautiful bones, but with NO professionalism they will ruin it.

Ever since we walked into this place we knew we will get married there. The space is gorgeous, it was amazing for a large wedding and it did not feel crowded at all whether inside the rustic venue or the cool lobby.
If you are planning a wedding definitely check out this place and you will not be disappointed
Thank you again to you ladies and to the entire team at EWG:)

The Gamble Paid Off!
We took a big chance in going with a Venue that was still Under Construction and we must say... the gamble paid off. We only had renderings and their sister venue - YMG to go off of but we had faith that they would be able to deliver on what they promised.

We worked closely with Frances who was their Catering manager and she was a ball. She was on top of everything from the get-go and made planning our big day so much easier.
We got so many compliments from our guests about how awesome the venue looked and how well it suited us as a couple - modern but with some traditional flare.
We would highly recommend Frances and her team to anyone looking to host a wedding or event at this gorgeous new venue! 2 thumbs up!

Thank you for for your accommodation during COVID19
Our original wedding date is booked for March 28th 2020. Due to the COVID 19 we asked EWG and CaterTrendz to postpone the wedding to July 2020 and they did. Wonderful office staff and amazing team to work with. Thank you for for your accommodation - Much appreciated!
