Overall it was a great experience, there were a few minor things I would have liked done that didn't happen, but our guests were thrilled with the food and presentation. The service was great as well.

Our wedding venue works exclusively with Emelle's, and we are so glad they do! They have been one of the top catering services in Vancouver for decades for a reason. They stuck with us for over 3 years as we planned and re-planned our COVID-delayed wedding, always open to our changing needs and tastes (we went from a vegetarian menu, to a mix, to no cake, to adding a cake...). They also prepared us a mini version of our wedding meal on the day of our first planned wedding (May 2020, cancelled due to COVID) that we could pick up and eat at home. These thoughtful touches made a rough time still feel special.

Nicole is a wonderful point of contact. Her knowledge of the industry meant she was able to make great suggestions regarding decor and late night snacks, and she was always available to answer any questions we had. The food is delicious and creative, and really does have something for everyone. We had a buffet with a mix of vegetarian and non-veg options, but also had one vegan guest. They prepared her a separate meal and her own set of sides to make sure everything was meat-, dairy- and egg-free. We got lots of compliments on the food, and the service as well! Overall a great night after a long wait, and we know a lot of that positive experience is thanks to Nicole and her team at Emelle's.

They provided a fantastic trial run, so that we could taste what would be serving.
on the wedding day, the catering team was efficient in their setup and execution. Also, we rented bartenders from them and these two gentleman went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I was pleasantly suprised at how much of a team effort Emelle's put in. I was expecting them to provide the food, but they went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day ran smoothly.

I can't say enough good things about Nicole and the staff at Emelle's. We hired them for our wedding and couldn't be happier.

We wanted a unique and tasty menu, including an Indian taco buffet. Not only did the chefs exceed our expectations, but the prices were also very fair. Other caterers, who were less flexible with their options, offered less food for the same amount of money, if not more.

Nicole in particular went above and beyond what we could expect from a caterer. She helped order items that we wanted as party favors, gave us great advice, and also helped us deal with a disagreement with our venue.

I would recommend Emelles for any event, and hope to get a chance to hire them again in the near future.

We were very impressed with Emelle's service and the guests loved the food! They were very responsive with inquiries and helping with planning especially on the bar items (which we could supply ourselves). The staff was very helpful, making sure the bride & groom got a chance to eat, and so upbeat all night, even dancing along behind the bar! They were great value and comparatively reasonable price, with no surprises and flexibility on providing vegetarian and children's meals. It was a great experience and we will definitely recommend Emelle's to anyone we know having an event in the area.

Emelle's catered our wedding this September at the Vancouver Rowing Club. In addition to providing all the food (of course) they also take care of the venue rentals - silverware, linens, chairs ect. I loved that I didn't have to think about any of these details. We simply provided the number of guests and Emelle's sorted out the rest! Emelle's stuck to our budget and allowed us to customize our own menu. They have endless options but are also open to making just about anything you can imagine. The tasting before the wedding exceeded our expectations. We were able to sample everything and were even invited back for a second tasting to try out the changes we made.

The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Emelle's organization and great tasting food. All of our guests raved about how excellent the food was and my husband and I would 100% recommend Emelle's to all of our friends.

We recently had Emelle's cater our wedding of 100 guests and it was spectacular. We knew right from the tasting that we had made the right decision. My husband and I were accompanied for the tasting by my parents and they served us not only samples of everything on our dinner menu, but full portions! On the day of our wedding Emelle's service was outstanding. The staff are not summer student hires who are trying to earn a little cash for text books - these were clear professionals in this industry who were kind and attentive to our every conceivable need. The food was absolutely outstanding (especially the mushroom chicken and whipped potatoes) and we had more leftovers than we could eat in a month. We couldn't have made a better choice than Emelle's.

It was a pleasure to refer Emelle's for my niece's pre-wedding welcome cocktail reception. As we were entertaining over 100 guests finding the right caterer for a standup reception for our out of town guests was quite the task. We wanted them to experience the "best of Vancouver" in terms of menu selection, atmosphere, presentation and taste.

Nicole was delightful to work with. She knew exactly how to fine tune the menu so that it accommodated the family's request for healthy options as well as wowed the guests with a balance of hearty, tasty & trendy appies.

Both the bartenders and servers were friendly and accommodating.

And let's talk desserts! they were show stoppers! we had to try them all, and there were lots! The Passion fruit dessert stole the show.
