We Don’t Cook is a chef-led private dining and catering service

Founded by Chef Jaida Lewis, We Don’t Cook was built on a simple belief: food should nourish, delight and bring people together. With classical Italian culinary training and time spent studying in Florence, Jaida brings a refined and intentional approach to every event.

From intimate proposal dinners to bachelorette celebrations and wedding cocktail hour grazing tables, every menu is thoughtfully crafted and completely personalized. Dietary restrictions and preferences are always accommodated with care.

Jaida is also available for destination events and is open to travel, including Kelowna, Palm Springs and beyond. If you have something special in mind, please reach out!

Services include: private proposal and anniversary dinners, bachelorette and bridal party catering, rehearsal dinners, day after brunch, wedding cocktail hour grazing tables and corporate dining.

Private Engagement Dinner

Jaida was a pleasure to deal with. I was hosting a private engagement dinner for my fiancée and I at my apartment.

She was on a trip outside the country learning new culinary techniques, and still made an effort to respond to my questions in a timely manner and to arrange scheduling.

She showed up exactly on time for the requested arrival, and the food she prepared was excellent. Her professionalism and culinary expertise speak for themselves. My fiancée and I genuinely could not remember eating a better meal than what she had prepared for us.

She works with all dietary requests and crafts a theme specific to your needs. She is polite, courteous and attentive.

She exceeded all of our expectations, truly an exemplary service and took the extra effort to make our engagement dinner unique and memorable.
