Kim Payant Photography is a Banff, Alberta-based wedding and elopement photography company that specializes in visual storytelling for your wedding, elopement and special occasion. Lead artist Kim offers a romantic and heartfelt approach to capturing the most genuine moments in all of her images. She is well versed in fashion, so she will make you feel comfortable in front of the camera for unbelievable shots. She photographed her first wedding as a photography student back in 2002. Since then she has done fashion and commercial photography before moving on to her true passion which is wedding photography.
Services Offered
Kim Payant Photography offers couples a number of services for their wedding. They can enjoy the exclusivity of her talents as she only books one event per day. Kim can be assisted by a second photographer if necessary. You will receive your collection of photos in high-resolution digital format. Her packages also include liability insurance.

Best in Banff
Kim was an amazing photographer! We love our wedding photos so much! She kept everything on track during the day; she was incredibly organized and made sure everyone else was, too. She and her partner took a ton of candid photos in addition to tons of family and friend posed photos. Would definitely recommend the second shooter package. If you are getting married in Alberta, it would be a huge mistake to go with anyone other than Kim!

Surprise Engagement
I contacted Kim to help me surprise my (Now Fiance) with our engagement in Banff. We are from Ontario so booking a photographer from across the country was a little bit nerve racking but I knew from the moment I spoke with Kim that we were in good hands. She helped me with a great location, and plan to make sure everything went smoothly. She was always extremely quick with responses and ensured that we were comfortable the entire time. I couldn't recommend Kim enough. Thank you for making our moment so special.

I highly recommend for weddings or multiple events
Our wedding planner Lynn Fletcher Weddings recommended Kim and her team. Her process is very flexible and she knows some great locations across the rockies if you are looking for some beautiful wedding photos. Kim participated in taking photos of our guests at our welcome drinks and rehearsal dinner. The proofs came incredibly fast, and the turnaround of the edits for the rest of the photos were great - she was able to capture a huge majority of our crowd including our other friends and their partners! It was so great to send them and they were happy with the edits and candids. We looked forward to working with her again for maternity or family photos in the future.

Excellent Engagement & Wedding Photographer!
Where to start! We found Kim after a lot of research on photographers who would capture Banff engagement and wedding photoshoot. We are from the states and found Kim for our engagement photoshoot and prior to even having a venue or date booked. Kim is so well versed with the best areas to photograph the beautiful scenery in Banff to take the most beautiful pictures! Kim is so easy going and makes the picture taking less awkward. For the day of we had a wedding of 70 guests and she memorized everyone's names and engaged with everyone. Kim made our day so special and we even went off site to some of the best areas around Banff for our first look photos. I would highly recommend Kim and we cannot wait to go to her in the future when we are back in Banff for more professional portrait sessions!

Simply amazing
Kim is just amazing, very accommodating and friendly. We had a small intimate wedding and she worked with us to provide us with what we needed. She was flexible on the day of the wedding and a true professional. She picked great locations for our wedding photos and they turned out beautifully. We have absolutely zero regrets or complaints!

Amazing Photographer!
Kim was absolutely amazing as my elopement photographer. We were coming from the US and got married at Lake Louise. She made us feel comfortable every step of the process and was very responsive to emails, questions, and concerns throughout the process. We had no idea what to expect at the location, but Kim helped us to think through the details like timing, order of events, etc. On the day of the event, Kim was so easy to work with. The whole family was so impressed that she knew everyone's names and directed the pictures efficiently and professionally. The pictures turned out so amazing, we couldn't have imagined anything better. We would definitely use Kim as our photographer again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking!

Talented and Amazing Photos
