Kim was our photographer for our surprise engagement and on our wedding day. When I originally started my research on photographers in Banff, I gave them my ideas and gathered quotes. I wanted to have a surprise engagement at Moraine Lake, the same year they originally closed access to private vehicles. While many told me no, Kim told me she would find a way. Not only that, but she made me a map of potential locations and helped me coordinate and execute it to perfection. During the photoshoot, she made us feel comfortable and confident. She knows every location like the back of her hand and can immediately adapt based on weather, lighting, and crowds. The pictures turned out amazing that people typically ask us if they are real! Based on our wonderful initial experience, we immediately booked her once we decided to have our wedding in Banff. She has relationships with every vendor in the area and gave us solid recommendations. During the wedding day, we learned that she is a master of learning names, pocket squares, and organization. She was thoughtful when involving friends/family and getting in all our requested shots. Summer time in Banff can lead to extensive crowds. She is able to pivot and has several options on deck if needed. She also had us practice our first dance when we walked throughout our reception hall before opening to the guests. This allowed her to know the routine and get all of the best shots/angles. Once again our pictures turned out incredible. She consistently made us feel and look like a million bucks. If you are looking for the best of the best, look no further. -

Kim was an amazing photographer! We love our wedding photos so much! She kept everything on track during the day; she was incredibly organized and made sure everyone else was, too. She and her partner took a ton of candid photos in addition to tons of family and friend posed photos. Would definitely recommend the second shooter package. If you are getting married in Alberta, it would be a huge mistake to go with anyone other than Kim! -

Surprise Engagement
I contacted Kim to help me surprise my (Now Fiance) with our engagement in Banff. We are from Ontario so booking a photographer from across the country was a little bit nerve racking but I knew from the moment I spoke with Kim that we were in good hands. She helped me with a great location, and plan to make sure everything went smoothly. She was always extremely quick with responses and ensured that we were comfortable the entire time. I couldn't recommend Kim enough. Thank you for making our moment so special. -

I highly recommend for weddings or multiple events
Our wedding planner Lynn Fletcher Weddings recommended Kim and her team. Her process is very flexible and she knows some great locations across the rockies if you are looking for some beautiful wedding photos. Kim participated in taking photos of our guests at our welcome drinks and rehearsal dinner. The proofs came incredibly fast, and the turnaround of the edits for the rest of the photos were great - she was able to capture a huge majority of our crowd including our other friends and their partners! It was so great to send them and they were happy with the edits and candids. We looked forward to working with her again for maternity or family photos in the future. -

Where to start! We found Kim after a lot of research on photographers who would capture Banff engagement and wedding photoshoot. We are from the states and found Kim for our engagement photoshoot and prior to even having a venue or date booked. Kim is so well versed with the best areas to photograph the beautiful scenery in Banff to take the most beautiful pictures! Kim is so easy going and makes the picture taking less awkward. For the day of we had a wedding of 70 guests and she memorized everyone's names and engaged with everyone. Kim made our day so special and we even went off site to some of the best areas around Banff for our first look photos. I would highly recommend Kim and we cannot wait to go to her in the future when we are back in Banff for more professional portrait sessions!
