We selected Forget-Me-Not for our very simple floral arrangements on our wedding day. We only wanted flowers for myself as the Bride, Bridesmaids, Groom, Groomsmen and then a few simple arrangements for our chair aisle ends at the ceremony and our dining tables during the reception, so very minimal.

When we first met with Nancy, about a year out from our wedding, we were confident she understood what we were looking for with regard to our colour palate and overall design for the arrangements. We had agreed this in a contract which we signed and then communication went quiet for a few months until I reached out to update a few things on our contract. I was a bit concerned that the responsiveness of the team was not what I had expected and it took me a few emails before I actually got a reply. When I did hear from Nancy, she was excellent at updating our contract right away and sending me an updated version.

It wasn’t until I started writing out a detailed minute by minute timeline for our wedding day that I got a bit concerned on some of the logistics around the flower delivery, set-up and the overall end result of our arrangements.

Unfortunately on the day when our flowers arrived they were the completely wrong colour palate. This is something I noticed after they were dropped off while I was getting ready and I called my (now) husband to ask if he could review the flowers that were at the venue since he was already there. The colours were completely wrong and we felt like it did not reflect what we had asked for at all. I did call Forget-Me-Not to confirm they had brought the correct florals for our wedding and they confirmed that this is what they were sent from their supplier. Not only were the flowers the wrong colour but many of the roses in my bouquet and the bridesmaid bouquets had brown wilted edges, and by the end of our ceremony my husbands and all the groomsmen boutineers had fallen apart. We were very disappointed to say the least.

Even though the flowers weren’t the main focal point of our decor, I was still disappointed in the quality and the fact that the colour palate was not correct.

After having a few days to reflect on this, we did email Nancy voicing our disappointment. She did rectify the situation with their supplier (who provided the flowers on the day) to obtain a discount for us as an apology for the situation, and we are grateful for her support with this. But unfortunately when the flowers show up wrong on the day of your wedding they are in your photos forever.

While we did not have a great experience with our flowers or the supply issues, I would say Nancy has great knowledge of flowers, advice on what looks good and is a very kind person so we do appreciate everything she did for us to make the situation a bit better.

Dee has a talent for flowers and arrangements! She gave us so much time and guidance whenever we met in person! She then produced the flowers of our dreams! From bouquets to arrangements everything was exquisite! Even with last minute panics or changes in the church Dee remained calm and patient! Couldn’t have asked for better!

The flowers were so gorgeous! Our arch popped against the backdrop and it was principally due to the flowers chosen. Also, when a bridesmaid dropped out last minute, they were very kind, offering me a refund or the chance to move the coat to the arch flowers.

Forget-me-not flowers did an amazing job with our flowers! They were the colour palette we requested and they were absolutely beautiful! I received more comments on how stunning the flowers were than anything else!

Lorelle is an exceptional creative artist with floral arrangements! She was so easy to work with and she made all of my floral ideas come to life, but even better!! She incorporated the colors from the surroundings (which was stunning at Emerald Lake Lodge!!) and made the outdoor ceremony stunning beautiful!! My bouquet was so elegant, just flawless! Our wedding flowers were absolutely beautiful! Since we eloped, we only had a bridal bouquet and boutonniere and both were stunning! They both lasted all day and all evening, through hiking, car rides, and dinner. Forget-Me-Not Flowers did an incredible job, we would highly recommend them to everyone!

Forget Me Not Flowers did a great job for our wedding! We had 12 centerpieces, florals for the arch, 3 bouquets, 3 boutonnieres, and 2 corsages that all turned out flawlessly. Could not ask for better!

I was 3 months out when my previously booked florist basically told me she had bigger weddings to do and dropped me. So I called every florist in Banff and forget me not came to the rescue and then some. My flowers were so beautiful and they were so easy to coordinate with. I did all of the planning over email and they knew my venue well so I left them to their own devices and couldn’t have been happier with the results

Forget-Me-Not Flowers provided the most gorgeous flowers for our wedding in Banff July 17.
