It may be tempting to hop on the TTC and make the journey from midtown to downtown for your wedding vendor hunt, but good news, Rosedale residents, you don’t need to! The neighbourhood has its fair share of boutiques, bakeries and more that’ll help you put together your dream wedding without setting foot on the subway.

Here’s how to plan the ultimate Rosedale wedding.

Venue: Rosehill Venue (6 Rosehill Avenue)
Take a trip a touch north of the neighbourhood and you’ll find Rosehill Venue, a charming, wedding worthy lounge located just off of Yonge. It boasts exposed brick walls, modern furnishings and enough space for 300 guests.

Flowers: The Flower Project (901 Yonge Street)
Just over a block south of Rosedale station you’ll find The Flower Project, a shop that specializes in custom arrangements and beautiful blooms. From green centrepieces filled with eucalyptus and succulents to more traditional rose bouquets, this place does it all. P.S. It offers floral workshops every Sunday for groups of 4 to 6 people, if you want to learn what goes into making the perfect bouquet.

Cake: Nadège (1099 Yonge Street)
If you prefer French pastries to cake, Nadège is calling your name. The pâtisserie crafts photo-worthy croquembouche and macaron towers in just about every colour, perfect for weddings. They can also stock your sweet table with an array of petite desserts and handle your favours, if you want to give your guests a sweet send-off.

Want to deck out your registry with some impressive homeware goods? You know, the kind to help you host epic dinner parties and amp up your home decor? Head to Hopson Grace. This swanky lifestyle shop stocks everything from porcelain dinnerware by Hering Berlin and Georg Jensen accessories to mouth-blown glassware and table linens. Catering: Petite Thuet (1162 Yonge Street)
If you want to give your guests a meal to remember, Petite Thuet is happy to craft it for you. As its name implies, the eatery deals in Parisian fare, offering up artisan breads, escargot, sandwiches, terrines, beignets and more. Its lead chef will work with your to create the perfect French feast for your big day.

Rehearsal Dinner: Terroni (1095 Yonge Street)
If you’re a Toronto native, you know the name Terroni. Tucked away above Bar Centrale, right at the corner of Yonge and Price, you’ll find the restaurant’s uptown location. The menu flaunts an array of Italian favourites, from pizzas to pastas to salads (they also have a vegan menu available for your plant-based guests). It has private and semi-private spaces available, along with a killer patio.

Rosedale is blessed with some seriously awesome green spaces that make for amazing photoshoot backdrops. Head to the Evergreen Brick Works, or a local ravine or park (the neighbourhood has a vast collection), for a pre- or post-wedding shoot. If you’re not hosting your wedding outdoors, this is an easy way to utilise some of Mother Nature’s best work.
