This is probably the easiest yet hardest reviews to write. Easiest because the Dyment Team and Glen Drummond Farms is literally the perfect venue, hardest because we don’t know how to narrow this review down to only a few highlights because there were so many. From the very beginning going on our tour, we were so impressed by the maintenance of the property and the variety of different spaces that can be utilized during the big day, from the peak to the lawn to the courtyard and 3 different barns, there truly is a space for everyone. After securing our wedding date, we were hosted by Dyment to be able to experience the venue from a guests perspective. They had appetizers, mains and desserts for us to sample, and had the venue laid out as if a wedding were taking place. It really allowed us to visualize and experience what was important for us. Dyment has their own personal app to be used which has all important forms, documents and information conveniently in one place. We found this especially helpful once emails start to get buried, it was nice knowing all of the standard information could be found easily. The details meeting took place several months before the wedding, however it was easy to make any changes up to one month prior to the event by updating the details form. It was nice not having to contact a team member if we had a change of heart for how many appetizers we wanted, or If the napkin fold didn’t fell quite right haha. Now comes the week of the wedding, the Dyment Team was great at communicating and any issues or concerns that arose were promptly handled professionally and with grace. Dyment handles all of the LCBO and beer store order pick-ups which was such a relief and one less thing we had to worry about the week of the wedding. The day itself went perfect. We opted to rent the brown cottage for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. It was a quaint little house. Between all of us and the hair and make-up team, there was 8 of us in there. I would recommend that to be the max amount of people in there, larger bridal parties may find it a bit tight to move around, however for our group it was perfect! The boys utilized the country house when it became available and really enjoyed the record player to get the vibes going! Bianca was our venue manager and she was fabulous! She would check in on us and made sure we were doing okay, and made sure we had the biggest whipped cream dollop for our pie servings. The staff are friendly and always have a smile on their faces. My fiancé works in operations, and his colleagues made note that the banquet staff serving the food would already have the next scoop ready as the next guest approached. It is something so small, but just goes to show the level of detail and efficiency this staff is capable of. We were having the time of our lives that we even forgot to eat the cocktail hour food that was set aside for us. Bianca graciously put some pulled pork sliders and mac and cheese balls in the country house for when our night ended. 1000/10 recommend the pulled pork sliders and mac and cheese balls, they were a hit! We will forever recommend this venue, and will be visiting their bakery every anniversary to get a pie, they will forever be apart of our story. We could go on and on about how impeccable Glen Drummond Farm and their staff are, but there simply wouldn’t be enough space or time in your busy wedding planning schedule to read all of it, so all that is left to say is love certainly grows there, and we felt it throughout the entire day.

A stunning venue for a farm style wedding! Can accommodate larger weddings & has multiple sites for ceremony. The barn and open concept really stood out as well as the picturesque views!

We can't say enough good things about our wedding at Dyment's. The team is filled with expert planners who care deeply about what they do: providing you with the most unforgettable wedding day. Beyond their exceptional customer service, one detail from our wedding really stood out for us. The groom's brother needed an accommodated meal due to texture sensitivities. We brought in pre-cooked chicken fingers to be prepared by the staff, but the head chef was the one who brought them out to him and ensured he was comfortable. It was such a meaningful gesture. This is a staff who doesn't just accommodate - they want to make sure all guests are included. Many venues will be able to offer you beautiful spaces and delicious food, but we believe the heart that the Dyment's staff put into their work is a rare commodity!

We recently got married at the farm on August 31,2024. We loved every minute of our special day. We worked with Naomi and Shirley to plan our special day. We loved how everything was planned down to the smallest detail. On our big day we had Paige as our day of coordinator and she made sure everything ran smoothly. She was excellent! The farm has many gorgeous locations to take lots of photos on your special day, so you will not be disappointed with photos. Huge shout out to the chef and his team as our meal was perfect! It was absolutely delicious, we chose the chicken and upgraded to the brisket (highly recommend) for dessert we opted to have the cool pies (key lime and chocolate peanut butter) honestly loved them so much. We taste tested all the pie flavours from Dyment’s market to narrow down our choices. If you are considering this venue I would highly recommend making it your top choice! They will ensure your day is perfect and exactly what you want!!

Our wedding on August 24, 2024 was an absolute dream. From the time we booked the venue (back in 2022) to the actual wedding day Alex and Naomi have been incredibly helpful. We are so blessed to have had our wedding at this venue it was everything we wanted from the barn feel to the outdoor wedding to the little touches throughout that made this day a dream come true. Our guests absolutely loved the food and the ambience of the 3 separate barns. I wouldn’t have wanted to get married anywhere else (we only toured this one venue and knew it was the one).

We were married at Dyment's in September and choosing this as our venue was definitely one of the best decisions we made. I can't say enough good about GDF and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

The property is absolutely incredible and the vibe was exactly what we were looking for. From being married on the peak to having poutine by the fire or dancing on the dance floor, it was a perfect combination of rustic charm and elegant beauty.

Then there's the food - we received so many comments from guests, the mac and cheese balls were definitely the best we've ever had. There are so many options to choose from, allowing us to have something for everyone, and everything was phenomenal.

Being able to bring our own alcohol sounded daunting at first but ended up being a plus. We were able to choose exactly what we wanted. The venue had their own bartenders, who were amazing, and Naomi provided a calculator to help us plan accordingly.

But Dyments is so much more than just a beautiful venue. The time, effort and care that the team puts into their weddings makes is evident. Planning a wedding can be stressful but we felt supported from start to finish. From the initial meetings with Shirley/Alexandra to our final meetings with Naomi, every question was responded to quickly and thoroughly. Rebecca was so organized, making sure everything ran smoothly at the rehearsal and day of. Thanks to them, every detail was considered and executed exactly as discussed.

To the entire team, we couldn't be more grateful for everything that you did. Dyments not only made our wedding day possible but made it everything we dreamed of. Thank you!!

We had our wedding at GDF in September 2023. It was fabulous! The farm is absolutely gorgeous! We were fortunate to have beautiful, sunny weather on our wedding day. Our ceremony was perfect; the DJ played all of the music we had on our list. And Naomi was our Day of Coordinator and she was SO helpful!! She was just fantastic. 😃 She helped guide us through all of the different stages of our day with ease. Again, the DJ was awesome! We were very happy with his services. The food was delicious and all of our guests were very happy with the everything from the appetizers to the meal to the yummy pie dessert bar. One thing I really love about this venue is it almost decorates itself with its own beauty. We added our own flowers and deco, but you don't need a lot because the barns and courtyard area are beautiful. We truly cannot say enough about GDF, we are so thankful to have had our beautiful wedding there. It was a perfect day. 🙂

We had a beautiful and unforgettable wedding day at the farm. Many of our guests commented on how unique and gorgeous the venue was. Naomi and her team were excellent to work with, they were organized, and extremely helpful. I unfortunately sprained my ankle shortly after our first dance. The venue’s team was quick to find first aid supplies and ice so that I was able to dance all evening despite the injury.

The food was excellent. The venue has an efficient way of providing all guests food in a timely manner with a served buffet style. We also liked that we could stock the bar ourselves which saved us some money. One thing to note is the venue bar does not serve shots or drinks that contain only alcohol (including cocktails), they must be mixed with a non alcoholic beverage. This wasn’t an issue for us or our guests.

We had a band and DJ for our reception. The DJ - Ruby Entertainment comes with the venue package. He was easy to work with and very kind. He collaborated smoothly with our wedding band for the ceremony music and reception. Another small note is that the DJ does not play explicit music during the reception. He was good with taking requests though and playing music on a list that we provided him with prior to the event.

With the help of our day of coordinator (Rebecca) we had very little to worry about during the day. Even when things were falling behind schedule when family was running late, Rebecca did an amazing job getting everyone caught up to schedule and we never felt rushed.

We decided to choose the in-house option for the officiant who also provides the DJ services for the venue. We had a great experience with him and received a lot of compliments from our guests. The only comment we would share is that the he is a little disorganized and makes a lot of mistakes. We would caution everyone to double and triple check the paperwork.

The venue itself does come with a lot of strict rules and regulations and a lot of extra steps that you may necessarily not need to take if going with other venues (applying for SOP licences, PAL insurance, etc.) it is also extra money that you will have to factor into your budget.
If you are someone who can go with a simplified bar (like we did); it can save you a lot of money compared to open bars at other venues. We opted for 2 types of beer, a whiskey, a gin, wine, and a signature cocktail that was vodka based. There was never an issue about running out of alcohol and even got some money back returning unopened alcohol.

With all that being said, we had a fantastic time and all our guests had so much fun and all complimented how beautiful the venue is. The bartenders were great and it was such a fantastic experience.

We chose to have our ceremony at Glen Drummond Farm because of the beautiful Peak and amazing photo background. We had access from the farm from 11am to 2pm. Everyone had an incredible experience and raved about how beautiful it was (despite it being the hottest day of the year)! They had the most incredible vendors to work with - we hired their preferred ceremony DJ, officiant, and photographer. The farm was the perfect backdrop for our photos and the staff (namely Naomi and Shirley) were so unbelievably helpful in the planning and during the event. We had the best ceremony there and are so overjoyed with how everything went. Thank you!!!
