Sprightly Events is a full-service event-planning firm serving Southwestern Ontario. Our main office is located in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario with a second office in Listowel, Ontario. Stephanie is a certified event manager, owner and lead planner of Sprightly Events. Stephanie and her team work to assist couples with all their planning needs, from coming up with unique themes and ideas, or simply guiding them in creating a traditional wedding celebration. They ensure that every last detail is given proper attention so as to execute a relaxed and stress-free special day.

Don't Think Twice!

Stephanie was a huge help and integral part of our wedding in August! We truly could not have pulled it off without her. We hired Stephanie as a part of her day of coordination package which included the month leading up to the wedding. She meticulously organized and ensured everything was set for the month leading up to the big day. She even went above and beyond, reaching out to support us with changing our plans prior to the “month of”. Planning and executing our wedding during the COVID pandemic was a huge stressor, and Stephanie relieved so much worry and uncertainty for us. She is extremely knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, and a real joy to work with. She even connected us with her husband who we took on to livestream our wedding for extended family and friends that couldn’t be there in person! And he did a great job too! If you’re not sure about hiring a “day-of” coordinator, we would hands-down recommend it!! It truly allows you to enjoy your day without worrying about the details, and Stephanie is the best person for the job!Overall, working with her was a wonderful experience and key to making our special day such a success. Thank you, Stephanie!

I could not have pulled off my dream day without the help of Stephanie and Gavin!! They were both amazing. If anything went wrong that day, I have no idea. Every element of the day was executed smoothly. Stephanie answered all of my text, emails and calls quickly and professionally, and calmed my stress. All of the little details that I didn't even think of were well planned out by them, such as getting me to the ceremony site from the other side of the park! I could be a guest at my own wedding because they had everything under control. Hiring them was the best wedding decision I made!!

I hired Stephanie just over a month before our wedding, after our initial planner had to cancel at the last minute! I was a bit frazzled, to say the least, but Stephanie immediately put me at ease with her unflappable, confident and professional manner. We met only twice in person before the week of the wedding, but we managed to go over all of the details of our vision, and she immediately took control of the organization of the vendors. She was in contact with me frequently, and was always so positive and supportive in whatever way I needed her. She and her assistant Gavin were invaluable on the days leading up to the wedding! As our wedding was very DIY, they helped set everything up, and Stephanie effortlessly helped me push back our rehearsal dinner time at the last minute because the set up was taking longer than I expected. On the actual wedding day, I never worried about a thing. Stephanie was so capable, and so efficient, without being over-bearing or ever making me feel like anything was stressful or a problem. She and Gavin quietly handled every detail of the day, and were still smiling at the end, even though I knew they must be exhausted! Way more than we expected!

Steph was absolutely fantastic from the moment we sat down to chat potential packages and details, to the very last minute she worked our wedding day. We felt so at ease knowing the day was in her capable hands, from planning details of the timeline, to giving solid vendor recommendations and keeping us up to date. We were so impressed with how calm and collected Steph was on our chaotic day. It was truly stress free for us. Her assistant Geraldine was also fantastic to work with on the day of the wedding. We are so glad we hired a day of coordinator, and definitely got way more from Steph than we ever expected!

We hired Stephanie to be our day-of coordinator for our wedding reception. She is great to work with and was very organized and prepared! We were able enjoy our day with our friends and family because we knew Stephanie was taking care of the details plus more! She even helped my husband sew a button back on his suit when it fell off!

Stephanie was spectacular!!! About 2 months before the wedding we realized there were so many little things we didn't want to worry about on the wedding day or ask friends and family to do. She took care of it all, with her keen attention to detail and wonderful helpfulness. She was one of the best wedding decisions we made. She has much experience and is able to problem solve any hiccups with confidence and ease. She was a joy to work with and I would recommend her to any couple getting married. Everyone deserves a Stephanie on their special day :)

Stephanie was fantastic to have at our wedding. Leading up to the big day she was very helpful in the planning process,. She was well prepared with checklists and was always thinking of everything. She confirmed with all of our vendors and even ran our rehersal! She did such a fantastic job the day of, everything went smoothly and I can honestly say everything went as planned. We couldn't have done it without her and was well worth the value. My husband and I both agree that Stephanie was the best money we spent for the wedding!

I booked Stephanie for the month and day of planner. She even assisted me with preparation of the reception.

Stephanie was able to meet with me any time I needed her help, as well she responded to my emails right away. On the day of my wedding she was very organized and made sure the timeline and schedule that we prepared was met. For any unexpected issues that came up she was on top of the situation right away so I did not need to worry about it. It allowed me to enjoy my day with my husband.

I highly recommend her services.

Hi! I'm Stephanie lead planner and owner of Sprightly Events.

I am a Say Yes to the Dress fanatic, and wedding lover! I'm a certified event manager who has been planning and coordinating weddings and events since 2012. My focus as your wedding planner and coordinator is to in sure you are stress free throughout the whole wedding planning process and on the day of. I work with my clients to produce exciting themes and ideas for their weddings and events, and help keep them within budget.

I spend my time helping others plan & execute their dream days, and on the side I throw axes, eat ice cream, and drink a lot of coffee.

Whether it’s wedding planning, day of coordination, advice, or bridal coaching - it’s my goal to help you!

I'm excited to be a lead planner (WPICC) with Sprightly Events. My goal is to make your special day flawless. I started my wedding career with Sprightly Events, but I have had a passion for weddings since I was 3 years old. There are pictures of me playing in a wedding dress marrying my sister! Since then I’ve graduated to working on REAL weddings, but to me it’s not work- its just fun! When I am not working weddings you can find me in nature, painting or exploring trails nearby. I love spicy food and I believe in breakfast, lunch and dinner dessert. In other words I am always snacking on sweets! I can’t wait to meet you and help you achieve your dreams!
