I’ve never been one to sit still—planning and organizing have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! It was no surprise that my career began amidst the energy and elegance of London’s finest, working at the iconic Park Lane Hotel on Piccadilly. By the age of 21, I was already leading banqueting teams in both London and South Africa, honing my skills in fast-paced, high-profile environments.
After welcoming my daughter, I transitioned into a corporate career in Human Resources, managing departments of over 100 staff and coordinating with external vendors. This experience sharpened my management and negotiation abilities—skills that have proven invaluable in working with wedding vendors to create seamless celebrations.
Committed to professional excellence, I earned my diploma in Bridal Consulting with highest honors and proudly hold the title of Professional Bridal Consultant from the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC). I am also certified by the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. In 2011, alongside three other esteemed Montreal wedding planners, I co-founded the Association of Montreal Professional Wedding Designers, a platform dedicated to elevating the standards and recognition of wedding planning as a true profession in our city.
A few fun facts about me—you can probably tell from my accent that I’m British! I was born near Windsor Castle, just outside London, and moved to Montreal in 2003. I’m also related to Sir Stafford Cripps, who served as the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer under Winston Churchill. On a lighter note, I absolutely adore Reuben’s Smoked Meat Poutine, love to sing (though I won’t be winning any awards), and one day hope to pursue a course in becoming a Sommelier.
From a young age, I’ve eagerly embraced every opportunity to plan events—whether it was movie nights, birthday celebrations, conferences, or fundraisers, I’ve always had a passion for bringing people together. As I grew older, that passion blossomed into a deep love for weddings. A perfectionist at heart, I strive to create moments that are both flawless and beautiful in every detail.
I graduated from Dawson College’s Community Recreation and Leadership Training program in 2012 and earned my degree in Human Relations from Concordia University in 2016. Since then, I have been immersed in corporate event planning here in Montreal. This background, combined with my certification from the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada, has equipped me with the skills and expertise to make a meaningful impact in the wedding industry.
What I love most about wedding planning is witnessing the culmination of countless hours of preparation, and seeing how every detail seamlessly comes together on the couple’s special day.
A few things you might not know about me—I enjoy spending my free time exploring new trends and styles, whether it’s baking, swimming, attending concerts, trying new restaurants, or finding beauty in everyday moments. I am also recently married, which was been postponed twice due to COVID, but I firmly believe everyone deserves their fairy tale and happily ever after. For me, the most magical wedding moment is when the couple is first announced as married.
