If I could afford her for the whole process. I would

We hired Olivia to do set up and take down of the reception hall. I also needed her to pick up the donuts the morning of the wedding and bring them to the venue. Olivia was always friendly and quick to reply to emails. She is very organized. If I had the budget I would have used every last one of her services. Damn do I hate wedding planning! I would have trusted her completely to get my day right. We went over the decor set up in the rehearsal and she was detailed and friendly as always. I did a pretty good job of organizing my decor to make it easier for her to know what to do the day of. When I arrived at the hall the tables were set up perfectly, and she arranged everything in a better way than I had imagined. Everything was just lovely. Thank you Olivia!

You Need Olivia in Your Wedding Life!!

It's too bad we can only rate Olivia’s services out of 5 stars, because we’d give her 10! After seeing how well she coordinated our close friends’ wedding a few years ago, it was a no-brainer that we needed her talent and skills to help with our big day too. Olivia was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and she was able to help the bride keep a level head with all of the Alberta summer Covid uncertainty. She got us in contact with a very last minute rental request and even came with us 15 days before our wedding to help scope out our eventual reception venue. While we originally booked her solely for Day-Of Coordination, we ended up also booking her set-up and tear-down services and BOY was it the best thing that we did. We gave Olivia our ideas for how we wanted our decor set up, and she blew us away with her awareness and attention to detail (it turned out more beautiful than we could have ever done ourselves). She handled all correspondence between our other vendors and made sure everyone was doing what they needed to do. It was also such a perfect day, and if anything went wrong - we didn’t know about it!

Olivia definitely was the hero of our day, and her name will always be the first words out of our mouths after congratulating a newly engaged couple. Thank you, Olivia!

Best decision ever

Hiring Olivia was the BEST decision we made for our wedding! She took the stress of the day off us completely and allowed us to soak up every minute of our wedding day knowing everything would be taken care of. We used Olivia as our "day-of" coordinator but she helped us out so much earlier than that with advice and speaking to our vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page. I am very much a perfectionist and she made every vision I had for our wedding day come to life!

Hire olivia

We hired Olivia in summer 2020 for day-of wedding coordination. We switched venues when we rescheduled due to COVID and we were looking for someone to help us get our ducks in a row on the day of the wedding as our new venue didn't offer any on-site event support. At the time we had no idea the incredible support Olivia would provide us over the next year.

Olivia braved the COVID storm with us like an absolute rockstar. She truly is unflappable. She helped me arrange floor plan, after floor plan, after floor plan. She was so flexible when we changed our date...again. She set up video calls with us to review our questions, concerns, and the latest restrictions. She did all of this while she worked in the background with our venue to make sure every piece was in place to go forward if restrictions allowed.

The May 2021 3 week lockdown forced us to change wedding plans once again and we decided to cancel our original wedding plans and elope in Jasper. We didn't end up using Olivia's services as a day of coordinator, but she didn't mind ONE BIT. In fact, she sent us champagne and chocolate on our wedding day.

Olivia was truly so much more than a wedding planner. She was a friend (and therapist lol) when we needed her most. Olivia, we will never be able to express how much we appreciate the time you took with us. If you are looking for someone to plan your wedding the BEST thing you can do is phone Olivia.

Amazing Olivia

She went above and beyond with helping with set up, take down and managing the day so that I could enjoy the day stress free. She was so adaptable to our changing wedding plans due to the pandemic and helped us to create a perfect day that matched our vision. She is so professional, has great ideas and knowledgeable. We cannot say enough good things about her and we would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

I got married last month

DECORATOR/ DAY OF COORDINATOR- OLIVIA FATA EVENTS. Probably one of the best purchases for the wedding. Not only did she just sent up and take the decor perfectly, the day of coordination was amazing. If you are unsure if you need one, you need one. You need Olivia. She did basically anything and everything to make the day go smooth. The amount of stress that was saved was unbelievable. Highly highly recommend. Best money spent.

Thank you Olivia!!

I have a piece of advise to all you brides (& grooms) ... HIRE OLIVIA! She is worth every.singe.penny. As soon as my husband and I met with her we felt an instant weight off our shoulders, knowing him nor I or our families would have to deal with any stressful hiccups during our Wedding Weekend. I simply cannot put into words how amazing she was throughout our entire Wedding Week; our Ceremony Rehearsal would have been complete chaos without her help. She tied up all the loose ends that came undone throughout Our Wedding day with total ease, and made my Husband and I feel so calm knowing she had it all under control, so we could actually celebrate our marriage with our family and friends! She simply can do it all; from arranging the most delicious looking dessert table to helping get my toddler flower girls down the aisle with smiles on their faces and petals being tossed. Thank you from the bottom of our loving hearts Olivia, we simply wouldn't have had the Wedding of our dream if it wasn't for you!!!

Absolutely Amazing Wedding Coordinator!

Olivia was hands down the best wedding investment we made. She went above and beyond for us. She asked a ton of questions before the wedding day so she knew exactly what was happening, helped me create a timeline for the day, ensured the ceremony was timed perfectly, and flawlessly changed things over from ceremony to reception. There were many extra things I feel she did that I did not expect of her whatsoever and it was really appreciated (she even had Ring Pops on hand to get the flower girl/ring bearer down the aisle). The day would not have been as stress-free and perfect without her! Trust me and just book her!

In July 2018, I took the leap and launched my passion project – Olivia Fata Assisting + Planning – Olivia Fata Events is one half of this project.

I became a certified Event Planner in 2010 and possess an Event Management Certificate from NAIT. I have years’ worth of experience, exclusively working in hotels, restaurants, and catering. I thrive in high-stress situations and specialize in day-of coordination; whether you need someone from set-up to tear-down or just to ensure everything is running according to schedule, I will be there to provide you with peace of mind and ensure that your event goes off flawlessly. With my services, you can expect full communication from the day you book, throughout your entire event.

The second half of my business is assisting! I believe they go hand-in-hand. I’ve worked with big and small businesses doing tasks such as data entry, travel coordination, email scheduling, social media scheduling, blog posting, and market research. Reach out today!
