Biji Planners is a team of cultural event planners based in Toronto, owned by Simmi Prasad. With their extensive experience in wedding planning and impeccable sense of style, the team aims to make their clients’ special day shine. They specialize in South Asian weddings and can handle small weddings with 50 guests to large weddings with up to 1000 guests.

Experience

Simmi has been in the event and hospitality industry for more than 8 years. She is a certified wedding planner from The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. She was a Glitterati Member of Wedluxe of 2015. Her work has also been featured in Lavish Dulhan.

Biji Planners covers destination, civil, eco-friendly, and double weddings. They also provide assistance in selection of date, venue, and vendors. Their services extend to planning and coordinating various pre-wedding ceremonies. Budget analysis and other services are also offered on an à la carte basis. It offers its clients full planning, partial planning, and day-of coordination services. Some of the features of these services include the following:

• Assistance with creating the wedding day agenda
• Final meeting with the venue to review all plans and logistics of the day
• Review of vendor contracts and their requirements
• Wedding rehearsal meeting to ensure all details are in order with the wedding party
• Manage final plan communication with all vendors
• Up to 16 hours of onsite direction coverage
• Supervision of all vendors on the day of to meet contract requirements and standards
• Full direction of reception according to your plan, detail, agenda, vision
