My husband and I got married in Winnipeg in 2016 and to this day I still think about our fairytale wedding. The details of our special day all came to life thanks to the talented and phenomenal work of Sofia from Awspiring Weddings and Design. Hiring Sofia to help plan and coordinate our wedding was the best decision we made. As a couple you look to hire someone you can trust to take charge and get things done so you don't have to worry about anything that day and she exceeded all of our expectations. Sofia listened to what we wanted, she designed us a vision board, we gave her our budget and she took it from there and worked her magic. She was professional, prompt and made sure to run everything by us through email, text, Skype meetings, it was such a beautiful process planning our wedding with her.
I had attended a wedding in Edmonton that was planned by Sofia and her team and decided that one day when I get married I must hire her.
Sofia came through for us in many ways, she did it all, designed our wedding invitations, put together our seating chart of over 350 guests, she designed our menus and our selfie photo booth and designed every detail of our wedding down to the head table seating and each table setting. The colours, the flowers, the lighting, the ambience, it was perfection. She managed to wow us and our family and all of guests that day. Most importantly, she was there by our side coordinating and making sure the day was on schedule at the church, for the photos and for the rest of the evening/reception. Sofia was our fairy Godmother, our saving grace our right hand woman. I have the pleasure of calling Sofia a friend for life. We will forever be grateful to her for everything she did for us that day. We love you Sofia and Awspiring Weddings and Design 💗

We had Sofia plan our wedding for us in 2017 - full service, her most expensive package. We were really excited to work with her based on all the good reviews here, but we ended up being disappointed. We didn't find her to be terribly responsive, and we also didn't feel like she fully advocated for us with her vendors. Often, Sofia would come to us with problems that should have been simple enough for her to address, and we ended up dealing with issues that we should have been paying her to solve. We felt she relied on her new software to keep us on track, rather than giving us personalized service - and in the end, we ended up being late on items and getting stressed out. Additionally, she was never able to report on our budget when we met up which was frustrating for us and our family members who were contributing. Lastly, we paid huge money for a beautiful pergola, which Sofia took down before we could get any photos underneath it, I was so upset that I cried - on my wedding day. Sofia absolutely has an eye for theme and decor, our wedding venues were beautifully decorated - clearly her strength.

Could respond to e-mails a bit quicker - found this frustrating and had to follow up.
We had table 1 and 2 not in a good location during supper but not sure who put table numbers on the tables.
Everything else was perfect. The best money that we spent. We saved ourselves a lot of stress by having such wonderful help, guidance and direction. Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

I had Sofia as my day of coordinator and I would have to say she is worth every penny. I have a strong Type A personality and I find it difficult not to worry and try to constantly think up of every little detail but with Sofia, I found I was able to fully relax on my wedding day as I knew all the little details I would think of, she thought of everything PLUS more....Even when I was concern about something, she was extremely efficient and handled it right away.

Initially I was wondering if I would even need a day of coordinator since I had planned everything pretty much to the tee and I was on a tight budget but I still found she was worth it every penny and the best decision we made when we hired her.

She even had this great giant emergency kit to help address any issues at the wedding. She had from bobby pins, to even chalk to covering any stains on a wedding dress, and she was very well prepared. I couldn't tell you everything in her kit but I remember being impressed at the size of the kit that she pulled out of her car when I was in need of bobby pins because I forgot to bring some to pin on my veil before the ceremony.

As I mentioned several times now, worth every penny :)

I am so happy we hired Sofia to plan our wedding! I was worried I wouldn't find somebody who would understand our visions of what we wanted but I was pleasantly surprised. Sofia has great taste and is very knowledgeable about the industry and is on the up and up on all the latest and greatest wedding trends and themes. She was very easy to deal with and we felt very comfortable leaving something so important to us in her hands. I must also add - her vender selection was amazing. I couldn't be happier!

No regrets!! Hiring Sofia and her team was the best money we spent for our wedding. We picked the day-of package but Sofia always answered any questions I had up to that day and made us feel like we had everything under control. Sofia was also very flexible and made time to meet with us.

On the day of the wedding, I did not hear one complaint from any guests or the hotel, Sofia and her team had everything under control before I even heard about it! Anytime I needed her she was there and it was such a wonderful thing. Our parents and family also did not have to worry about a thing as Sofia and her team ensured them that they had everything under control.

After the wedding, I heard nothing but great things about the job they did. From the decor, to the timing of events. Our parents even thanked us for hiring Awespiring Weddings!! There is nothing worse than having your family do all the running around and missing out on things because they have to talk to the caterer, DJ, etc. Our family really got to enjoy the day and so did we.

We cannot thank Sofia and her team enough for the wonderful job they did and for making us feel as if we were their only clients. Our day was so special and they have a huge part in that.
