The wedding photos taken by Nicole Amanda on our wedding day were stunning, and we'll cherish them always. She arrived early and took great pre-wedding photos. We hardly knew she was there. She captured the joy of the day perfectly!

We could not be happier with our decision to go with Nicole and Max. They were both extremely fun to work with and true professionals. I typically struggle in front of a camera and I am not really sure how to hit poses or smile, but Nicole and Max made it easy. The final products are better than I could ever imagine. I don’t even remember our special day being as beautiful as portrayed by the pictures Nicole and Max provided us. If you are in the market for a photographer, your search is over. Go with Nicole! It is a no brainer!

Absolutely recommend Nicole Amanda as your wedding photographer! We booked Nicole over two years before our wedding and little did we know what was coming! Through all the hurdles of planning Nicole was so wonderful to work with and answered any and all of our questions so promptly! Even during our planning we made a pivot with our date and venue and Nicole was so wonderful to accommodate us and switch the date without a hiccup! With our engagement photo was so incredible toughing out one of the coldest days last fall and had us so comfortable in front of the camera! We left that day feeling ready to take all the photos on our special day. Max and Nicole captured our day so perfectly and we can't recommend them enough!!

They helped us with our whole wedding day timeline and delivered our digital photos soon after the wedding. They even include a wedding photo guide which really helped us think about many aspects of our photos that we wanted to include. The photos themselves are absolutely breathtaking. If you want soft, light and airy photos, look no further. They take amazing portraits and they also captured many sweet candids, which was important to us as well. We could not have asked for a better photographer. Nicole was amazing from the start! She even sent us a little gift before we even starting working with her. She was flexible when we had to postpone our wedding due to covid. We even hired her for our legal ceremony on our original date, and while she was on maternity leave, she sent someone out for us and we still got beautiful photos that she edited. But our wedding day, oh my god. Having her and Max as a photography team was very special, and unlike anything I had seen before. I haven't even gotten all my wedding photos back yet but the sneak peaks are absolutely gorgeous. She is worth EVERY penny, and then some! Hire her and I promise you won't be disappointed.

HIRE HER! That's it, that's all I need to say. Nicole & Max are your best wedding decision (I mean after choosing your spouse haha). Nicole was the easiest person to communicate with, whether through person, email or phone. She answered quickly and all of my silly questions. She also was ready with planning material, like a photo timeline and photo list, way in advance like myself and through every conversation made sure to say "Let me know if there is anything I can help with"
For the engagement photos, Nicole stood out in the freezing cold snow to capture the most brilliant photos! She taught us how to kiss, laugh and smile without looking forced and made us feel so calm.
For the wedding, Nicole (and Max) were again the most calm presence and came prepared for anything. I loved having Nicole with me and my girls getting ready while Max was wrangling the men together. She came with a full tote of bridal prep gear for photos and helped me into my dress! She took the perfect candids of myself, bridesmaids and mom getting ready and kept us on track. Although I wasn't there for the photos with the groom, my husband states Max was professional and funny and ready to get photos with our dog who was in the wedding party!
Nicole + Max helped us with our first look which was the best decision we made for photos. They were just in the background snapping our intimate moments together!
Nicole + Max worked through our long list of family formals and was able to set some wandering uncles in line! Max kept on checking in with me to make sure we got all the photos we wanted and then offered some ideas of some photos that might have been missed. Once again, the words I can use to describe both photographers were calm!!!
I don't remember too much of the reception as it surrounded food + wine + laughing/crying through speeches so I loved looking through the photos Nicole took of the reception. She captured the real emotions of our guests and it is memories I will have for forever
We were able to sneak away for some photos during the reception and even those 10 minutes of photos gave us the most beautiful memories of us smiling and laughing.
Nicole even started editing during the reception and gave us a sneak peek of 10 edited photos from the bridal prep to the first look to the ceremony including a wonderful portrait of myself, husband and dog smiling at the camera. Yes, Nicole is that good of a photographer that she got our 2 year old mini aussie to sit and smile for photos!!
Finally, we received our edited photos in record time and were able to show all of our friends and family these amazing photos. Due to COVID, we were unable to have our full guest list and thanks to Nicole + Max, these photos made the un attended guests feel like they were truly there with us.
I cannot recommend Nicole + Max enough. Wedding photos (and their price) are worth it over and over again! Flowers die, cake gets eaten, but good wedding photos last a lifetime!! Especially now with restrictions on gatherings, there is nothing you need more than those memories to show your guests who couldn't be there.
I shared our photos over and over again, posted all over social media and all of my co workers said the same thing "Congrats on your wedding, your photos looked amazing!" They all talked about how incredible the photos were and how they felt like they were there with us.
At the end of the day, I couldn't have imagined our wedding day with Nicole + Max. They are amazing!

I first came across Nicole's beautiful light and airy photography style when I saw a picture of her work being featured on a wedding website. I immediately added her to the top of my list of wedding photographers. When Nicole told me that she was available for my wedding date, I could not have been happier. Working with Nicole and her husband Max was such a fun and easy-going experience. My husband and I were not used to being photographed, but Nicole taught us a series of four poses that were so easy to learn and made the pictures turn out natural and stunning. On the wedding day, Nicole was more than just my photographer. She practically became an honorary bridesmaid and was helping my girls with their dresses and bouquets. She was fabulous. My husband and I are so happy that Nicole and Max were by our sides the entire night. We would highly recommend them, you won't regret it! :)

Nicole was AMAZING! From the time we connected at the coffee house in Barrhaven, I knew she was the photographer for us. Aside from her incredibly organized and bubbly personality, her vision was exactly what I wanted for my big day; and that's exactly what we got - light, airy, and beautiful pictures that let us relive it every day.

Our 20 month year old daughter was part of our ceremony and Nicole not only captured our love up at the altar, she caught precious moments with our girl. This was something that was so important to us and she delivered beautifully.

We truly cannot say enough good things about Nicole and Max! To say they both went above and beyond for us on our special day would be an understatement. Their professionalism, attention to detail and patience is honestly next to none. They showed up to start shooting while we were getting ready and managed to get the best pictures without ever being in the way, over bearing, etc. They strictly worked on our timeline and never made us feel rushed or pushed to do anything we didn’t want to. We have an almost 2 year old whose attention span isn’t that big, but they still managed to capture all the pictures we wanted with him after he woke up from his 2 hour nap! Getting those pictures included Max literally jumping into mid air behind the camera to grasp his attention, something we know that not just any photographer out there would do. We had a very small micro-wedding with only 13 guests total and they fit in with our calm, laid-back vibe so perfectly. Our families couldn’t say enough good things either! I would recommend Nicole and Max to anyone looking for wedding photography because you just can’t go wrong with them!
