Hi! I am Ilon, and although you may have seen me at nightclubs, corporate events, festivals and heard me on the radio, my true passion is weddings!
From my earliest days, I realized that great DJing isn’t just about playing popular songs; it’s about how you play them — how you read the room, build energy, and weave moments that last a lifetime. That’s why I stand by my motto: It’s not what you play, but how you play. I work with couples of all faiths, cultures, vibes and celebrations of love of all paths.

I'm an accomplished hospitality leader, venue director, and event professional with over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality, event management, and weddings. My career includes leadership roles at some of Canada's most respected venues — including Strathmere Estate, The Drake Devonshire, and Truffles Catering (British Columbia) — where I've developed a reputation for operational excellence and an unwavering commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
Throughout my career, I've overseen multimillion-dollar operations and dozens of large-scale events, specializing in both the logistical precision and emotional nuance that define great hospitality. I've led cross-functional teams, shaped service cultures, and managed everything from venue operations and sales strategy to brand positioning and client relations. My approach blends creative vision with systemized structure, ensuring efficiency never comes at the cost of warmth or authenticity.
I'm an accomplished marketing executive, creative strategist, and hospitality entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience spanning entertainment, events, and brand development. As the Director of Marketing for Dreammind Hospitality Group, I led strategy and creative direction for twelve distinct venues — overseeing branding, concept development, marketing campaigns, guest experiences, and large-scale events featuring national and international talent.
Before that, I owned and operated multiple nightlife and entertainment venues, most notably Mansion Night Club & The Bourbon Room in Ottawa, which I successfully ran for over 11 years. Through this hands-on ownership, I gained deep experience in staff leadership, brand building, operations management, and guest experience design — developing a strong understanding of how to create a business that resonates emotionally and commercially.
I also founded ilproductions, an entertainment and marketing agency that produced events and campaigns for clients such as Christian Dior, TD Canada Trust, Holt Renfrew, the U.S. Embassy, and Otto's Automotive Group. My entrepreneurial background taught me how to bridge creativity and commerce — crafting experiences that capture attention, build community, and drive meaningful engagement.
Beyond my executive and entrepreneurial experience, I have an extensive background in broadcast media as an on-air personality and mix show producer for Jump! 106.9 (Corus Entertainment) and CJLL 97.9 CHIN FM. This expertise in audience engagement, sound design, and storytelling translates directly into my creative direction at Love Labs — where emotion, energy, and experience intertwine to create unforgettable moments.
