Wow. We are so grateful we chose Evermore during our venue search. Evermore was our first venue visit and right off the bat, we sat down with Deb and felt at home. We are one of the first of our friend groups to get married so you can imagine, we felt a bit lost. Deb quickly made us feel comfortable and in good hands. She answered all of our questions and assured us that Evermore was there to help with anything and everything. After the meeting with Deb and walking the grounds of Evermore, we ended up cancelling our other venue visits because we knew it was the one.

Our expectations continued to be exceeded throughout the wedding planning process. Valerie was always just an email away and made herself available for phone calls as well. All it took was one quick email or phone call and the stress was alleviated! She is so professional and knows the business inside and out.

Fast forward to our incredible wedding day… as the bride, I didn’t have to worry about one single thing. Val, Natalie and her team had everything covered. The flow of the day was amazing and we started getting compliments on how beautiful everything was early on in the night. The food was incredible, service unmatched and the atmosphere really made us feel like we were in a dream!

One of the biggest advantages of having a wedding at Evermore is how many different aspects of the wedding they were able to handle effortlessly. We select the food and bar packages, and they handle all the details regarding those aspects. I think the only additional considerations were that we had to select our music and entertainment (band or DJ, photobooth), photographer, and florist. We selected these aspects with people that were familiar with the venue, so they were able to really maximize the experience, as they knew how Evermore was set up etc. The staff at Evermore were truly exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism that put us at ease. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, making us feel like VIPs throughout the entire process. This definitely helped with the wedding coordination effort and actually eliminated our need for a dedicated wedding planner, as all of the details were seamlessly integrated. Their dedication and attention to detail made the planning process smooth and stress-free.

Now, let's talk about the food – it was an absolute culinary delight! The menu options were diverse, and the quality of the dishes exceeded our expectations. Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was, from the appetizers to the main course to the decadent desserts. The catering team's commitment to excellence truly elevated our wedding reception into a gourmet dining experience. They accomodate aspects with the food and drink to really personalize the experience to our wedding - such as having a couple of signature drinks, unique to us, that they served at the wedding, which our guests found super unique and fun.

Our wedding day was undeniably a day to remember, thanks in large part to Evermore. If you want amazing service on your wedding day, go to Evermore and see Megan!!! She’s incredibly attentive with a great personality to boot! Not only did she take great care of me and my husband but also the bridal party. She was attentive to all the guests as well. She covered the room and ensured great service, our wine was always topped up! What a great team. You can tell who’s leading the pack and they are lucky to have her! I would come back just to see Megan again. Very personable and accommodating. Everybody had fun on my special day that’s for sure! So many positive experiences from friends and family saying the same thing. Thank you Evermore and thank you Megan for the outstanding service!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue! First of all, Evermore is beautiful. From the blooming grounds, to the decadent chandeliers. This restored barn is a dream. The aesthetics of this place are impeccable.

We also stayed on sight at the James Naismith House. Just a quick walk under the willow tree, brings you to this gem. I got ready with my bridesmaids here, and we slept here on the wedding night with some of our bridal party. Some of my favourite photos were taken here at this house. They have all of the amenities you need. The beds were super comfy. The convenience of being able to stay on sight for the wedding was a great deciding factor for us.

Now for the staff! We were blown away with their exceptional service! Deb (wedding director) and Val (wedding coordinator) are a dream team. During the whole process they were efficient and responsive. They were on the ball at all times. They made our day run effortlessly and smoothly. Deb and Val really know what they are doing and had great recommendations to make our day spectacular.

The service staff were incredible! I’ve been to weddings where you are struggling to have your wine topped up or hardly manage to grab one hors-d’oeuvres. The staff were so quick and made sure that everyone got what they needed and much more.

The bar staff were outstanding. We had signature cocktails. They impressed all of our guests. You never had to wait long for a drink and they were super friendly to chat with while they were making them!

The food was top notch! All of our guests raved about the food! It was very hard choosing what to eat at our food tasting, as everything was delicious. They did not disappoint on the wedding day! Many compliments to the chef and his team!

We would 1000 percent recommend Evermore for your wedding day. Our day could not have been more perfect!

Getting married at Evermore was absolutely a dream come true, it is the most beautiful wedding venue that I have ever seen.

Planning a pandemic wedding is no walk in the park with the constant shifts although Deborah Purdy, Val, and the whole team have been extremely accommodating and made planning my wedding a breeze! With my previous wedding venue cancelling on me due to COVID-19, I was fortunate enough that Evermore had availability to help me fully plan my wedding in only a month. I received many compliments from my guests on just how stunning Evermore truly is.

I couldn’t be happier with the lovely space, the breath taking photographs, and the memories that I will cherish forever with my husband. We stayed overnight at the Naismith home on-site and it was extremely clean, organized, and a lovely space! I would highly recommend this venue for the perfect fairytale wedding of your dreams.

Absolutely recommend it!!! Great venue, good parking space and food was absolutely delicious. Staff was very efficient and professional. You can take stunning pictures right on the property as well, no need to go off site. Bridal house was very clean and well equipped for all your needs. Definitely very positive experience.

You can’t have a perfect wedding without a perfect venue. Evermore Weddings and Events in Almonte couldn’t be more perfect in every way. From the grounds themselves to the enchanted barn, to the team of people that make it all happen, Evermore will forever be in our hearts.

Our guests could not believe how beautiful and immaculate the property is. From the gardens to the sail tent to the courtyards with the fire pits, the willow tree, the farmer’s fields and the barn there are so many beautiful and unique spaces at Evermore for guests to explore and enjoy. All the different spaces make it a photographer’s dream and you will have the prettiest wedding pictures without having to run all over town. The team even let us host our traditional Tea Ceremony in the heritage house on the property where the girls got ready all morning. They also provide so many awesome decor options for you on-site.

All of our guests were so impressed with the drink selections (even with the basic package) and LOVED their meal!!! We have been to enough weddings to know that the food can be hit and miss but the team at Evermore makes everything on-site in the kitchen and you can really taste the difference. You can’t miss with any of the canapés and the dinner was delicious. We went with the Short Rib & The Salmon and everyone agreed both were amazing.

Last but certainly not least are the team of people that help make the whole thing happen. Val, Deb & Lauren were so incredibly helpful from the moment we booked our date to the moment we left the property on the day of they made our life so easy. Val and Deb were always so on top of the constantly changing COVID-19 restrictions and were so accommodating of our hopes for the big day. They thought of literally everything and ensured our big day went without a single hiccup. We were so stress-free the whole day and didn’t have to micromanage anything. All the other staff were also very professional, warm and attentive to us and our guests the entire day.

If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Ottawa area then look NO further. Looking back we couldn’t be any happier with our choice. Weddings aren’t easy but we promise you that this will be the best and easiest decision you will make leading up to your big day and you won’t regret it for a second.
