    Beyond my dreams !

    Amanda from Gather Event Company took my vision and surpasses anything I could have imagined. She provided the florals for the wedding party, ceremony and reception. I used her decor rentals and her set up and take down services. Having a wedding during Covid was stressful, but she made the process so easy with having multiple decor plans in place depending on the step we were in. Everything was so beautiful and fresh.

    Beauty in every detail

    The Gathering Event Co team is like none other that I’ve worked with. An all in one decor and floral design company to make your wedding dreams come true. I had a vision and did my best to communicate it - but it was like they could see what I had pictured in my head and made it happen. Not only that but exceeded my expectations. Our first look of the reception decor, I swear our jaws dropped. We were in awe! The flower arrangements were impeccable, and the table settings were assembled to make an intimate wedding in a large venue warm. They were set up on time, professional, and accommodating throughout all changes! We would recommend them to anyone!

    I wish I could have their florals delivered to me weekly

    I had wanted to hire The Gathering Event Co as my wedding planner for my original wedding date. Unfortunately, it didn't work out as they were already booked but serendipitously when my wedding was postponed, they were available to do the florals for my back-up wedding date! My bouquet was to die for! Honestly, stunning. The perfect mix of blush and white florals, and mossy and moody greenery. The florals for our ceremony and reception were equally stunning and they incorporated some deep burgundy flowers, which I really wanted, and they turned out beautifully. My wedding planner told Amanda and Grace about my vision for the centerpieces. I had bought wire "bowls" and spray painted them gold and wanted florals on the outside. Well, these two talented ladies totally understood my vision and created the most beautiful centrepieces I've ever seen at a wedding. I received so many compliments on our florals. I can honestly say, I've never heard guests talk about florals at a wedding like they did about the Gathering Event Co's work. I am so grateful to them for totally elevating the look of our ceremony and our reception venue. You'll get some stunning blooms from them. Highly recommend! I wish I could have kept all those florals forever!

    A dream come true

    Amanda was able to bring our dreams to life! The whole process was also so easy every step, I was able to show her photos of what I wanted and boom she made it happen. Although I had provided some decor her and her team set it all up and added so many great touches. I had these beautiful whisky barrels at the entrance of my isle, they matched the country chic theme perfectly with some beautiful flowers topping them. The wooden arbour was exactly what I was looking for with linen draped over and flowers on one corner, made a stunning back drop for the ceremony and we were able to repurpose it and the barrels inside for our reception. The bouquets were so dreamy, I was so happy the peonies worked out, they completed the bridesmaids and my bridal look. The addition of the blue wine glasses on our head table with the greenery, the colours were so crisp and popped in photos. I loved that we did not have to worry about any set up or tear down- it was all taken care of so we could just enjoy our day. Thank you so much Amanda to you and your team, you made our special day unforgettable.

    Not Organized

    Since my wife and I are both international we ended up having 2 weddings and had to work with lots of vendor, this was definitely our least favourite and most flaky vendor. The pictures you will see on the internet of their work are amazing but the customer experience, organization and communication is a total nightmare and caused us lots of stress. If you don’t mind not receiving replies to emails for weeks, micromanaging / making checklists for your vendor that get ignored and then not receiving your card box although confirmed via email this might be the right choice. Yes the decor was nice but we had over 130 guests from different countries confused looking for a card box we were supposed to have, leaving envelopes in all kinds of random places or not giving them. We hired a decorator so things would be easier and more organized, that wasn’t the case with Amanda. 2 weeks later we still hear complaints from our guests and receive their thank you cards. We were obviously busy on the wedding day and only learnt about the absence of the card box around 10 pm. Fortunately the venue had a small acrylic box which we used but it was only good for small envelopes. Some people were using a lantern, which according to the decorator Amanda was an alright alternative… No comment here. Amanda’s invoice was not detailed and used generic language such as “centre pieces” or “guestbook/gift table”, because of the lack of specificity we had to confirm everything and all the details via email and asked for photos and confirmations multiple times. The entire process was backward and even though she added the card box to her list and sent us a photo and after the wedding a small 170$ reimbursement she still kept on defending her mistake. She even said that she was providing some free services which we had no idea of? I think that she is not even aware of her agreements and responsibilities. Moreover her mom wrote to us and cced our mom, how professional and mentioned something about European tradition of not having a card box. My wife is European and trust me they use card boxes there.This company is a waste of time and money and according to them the card box is not that important. This is our story hope yours will be better. Our wedding was awesome but it would have been better without Amanda. I wouldn’t work with this company again. We have emails and proof of what happened.     We got married a year ago but we realized we didn't review TGEC on Wedding Wire. In a word - outstanding! Amanda and Grace set up all our décor (some my own, some I rented from them) for our winter wedding and did our flowers. It was stunning and exactly as we wanted. Amanda and Grace understood our vision and made it come to life for a price that we could afford. They even got us chair covers the night before the wedding! They are stylish, detail oriented and give excellent value for money.
