Located in Jasper, Alberta, A Different Angle Photography is the two-photographer team of David and Peggy. Jasper locals for more than three decades, they have photographed more than 1,000 weddings and know that the most important part of a wedding day isn't simply the scenery — it's the people.
Every wedding is photographed by both David and Peggy. Having two experienced photographers means they can see the same story from two different perspectives. While one is photographing you walking down the aisle, the other can catch the look on your partner's face. While one is photographing the first dance, the other might notice Dad watching from across the room.
Their approach is relaxed, natural and people-focused. They want couples to enjoy their wedding rather than feel as though the entire day has become a photo shoot. Their photography combines candid storytelling with gently directed portraits, capturing the laughter, emotion, relationships and wonderfully unscripted moments that make every wedding different.
And, of course, they know Jasper. After decades of photographing weddings throughout Jasper National Park, David and Peggy know the locations, the light, the weather and how quickly plans can change in the mountains. That experience allows couples to relax and enjoy their day knowing that very little rattles them.

During our maternity shoot, they did a fantastic job keeping a big secret—Chris surprised me with a proposal, which they captured beautifully in the photos! A year later, we eloped to Jasper for our wedding with our daughter, and we were so grateful Peggy and David were available on such short notice. Autumn Wedding in Jasper

Peggy and David were so much fun to work with! We had two dogs (one a crazy 2 year old lab) we wanted to include in our engagement session and part our our wedding party so they had their work cut out for them. They had such a knack with them, and even managed to get smiles out of a few family members who don't usually smile! They also work so well together, one takes "traditional" photos while the other manages to capture unique and candid shots. I should also mention it snowed and was cold on our wedding day yet Peggy and David were all smiles and even helped keep the wedding party in a good mood despite the weather! As for the end result...we love our photos!!! We will definitely use A Different Angle Photography for family photos, maybe even a vow renewal in the future :)
