I love weddings and I love LOVE! As a professional Alberta marriage commissioner, my goal is to take away the stress and nerves of your special day to give you the best ceremony ever! But what does that mean? The best ceremony ever is the one about YOU! We take your love story and weave it into a beautifully compelling, fun, and memorable ceremony that all of your guests will be raving about!
It’s lighthearted and laidback, it will make you laugh, and maybe even make you cry. It’s just long enough to enjoy the importance of this milestone event, but short enough to leave everyone wanting more.
As a civil commissioner my ceremonies are non-religious, but I love to incorporate your cultural traditions or your personal beliefs as you wish. This is your ceremony after all! Whatever your style, you can take comfort in knowing that I’ll walk you through your special day from start to married!

The Perfect Officiant for Our Wedding Day
She had such an incredible sense for the moment. When my hands were freezing, she quietly handed me already activated hand warmers, which was a lifesaver. She also knew exactly when to step aside so she wouldn’t be in photos, allowing us and our photographer to capture those moments perfectly. Little things like that showed how experienced and thoughtful she is.
What meant the most to us was how much she prioritized us being present in the moment. She flowed so naturally with the ceremony and the energy of the day, helping everything feel relaxed, joyful, and incredibly special.

I got married last May this year and Laura was the best! I was looking for a wedding commissioner that is perfectly fit for me and my husband. We are both shy people so having 120 people watching you is quite nerve racking…but Laura went over everything with us prior and she made sure it went smoothly so we were both calm and fully enjoying the moment.
