He is known throughout the County as the tall, friendly, always smiling, easy going Officiant who makes every wedding ceremony a relaxed, fun experience.

Looking to escape the usual when it comes to a wedding ceremony? Let Craig guide you in a fun, relaxed, stress free manner that will be something completely different than the cookie cutter ceremonies you may have witnessed in the past. Craig accomplishes this with confidence by telling your unique Love Story. From the moment you walk down the aisle to being announced a newly married couple, your ceremony will be short and sweet at about 15 minutes

When reaching out please provide your names, preferred pronouns, wedding date, venue/location for the ceremony and a ceremony time. With multiple wedding ceremonies each weekend this info will help me in confirming availability

Services Offered

Craig offers ceremonies that are relaxed, easy going, professional and stress free. All ceremonies are short and sweet at about 10-15 minutes in length. Craig will make your special day one where you can focus on the happiness of the moment without worry.

Interested in a family member or friend performing the ceremony but need an officiant to make it legal? Craig can help with many options available. A legal signing is the quick,easy solution for those who are planning a destination wedding, wanting a family member to perform the ceremony or as an alternative to a City Hall wedding. Craig's waterfront office in Carrying Place is the perfect backdrop.

Legal signings are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings, include the registration of your marriage with the Province of Ontario and can include the required 2 witnesses if needed. Legal Signings $350

Craig has proudly officiated at all of Prince Edward County's (PEC) finest wedding venues...Lake on the Mountain PEC, Carriage Lane Elopements, the Eddie, Wander, Brighthouse Farms, Hinterland Winery, Drake Devonshire, Compass Rose, Lakecroft, Cherryvale Weddings, the Grange of Prince Edward Winery, Isaiah Tubbs Resort, Compass Rose, the Meadows, Hillier Creek Estates, the CAPE, Merrill House, Casa Dea Winery, 1914, Waring House, the Sandbanks, the Dunes, Wesley Events + more throughout the area.

For weddings outside my service area a travel charge applies.

Thank you Craig and the Carriage Lane team!

Craig’s ceremony was truly beautiful. He made our wedding day extra special with his thoughtful and touching words, which brought tears to our eyes. He is professional, and with that professionalism comes warmth and kindness. Craig guided us through the entire process, from getting the marriage license, to the type of ceremony we wanted to have, and finally, to obtaining our marriage certificate afterwards. We are beyond happy and grateful to have Craig as our officiant. Thank you so much for being a part of our special day.

Amazing Choice for an Officiant

Craig was our officiant at our recent wedding. He was a gem. We appreciated our meeting before the wedding where we discussed our wants and vibe of our wedding. He captured our personalities perfectly in our vows. From the moment he showed up at our venue on wedding day he made us feel at ease. Our guest loved his personal touch. A dream come true

Craig took the time to meet with us over zoom to "get to know our story" to make our ceremony personalised and special. He also discuss the timeline for the day on our zoom meeting and was very flexible. He and his wife Lisa walked us step by step through the ceremony and rest of events on the day of also. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting his outstanding work as an officiant and told us they had never seen such a personalised ceremonie. It was beautiful! He took the stress away and we had fun, we laughed alot.

You cannot beat Craig!

Craig is simply the best! Throughout this stressful process of getting married (during Covid no less!) he was nothing short of fantastic! His communication with us was top notch and you could tell that he really cared about our day and making sure that everything was perfect! He did a fantastic job personalizing the ceremony specifically to our personality and the over all vibe of the wedding. It's unfortunate that you are only married once or else I would use him again! LOL
Craig is the best and I will be recommending everyone I know getting married to use him as well. Thanks again for creating the perfect ceremony Craig!

Pefrect choice!

Craig was always very quick to reply to our questions, and genuinely interested in helping us create our perfect day. He is a very good speaker, and arrives well-dressed. We were quite nervous, but Craig was calm and confident and simply led the way. Looking back we are so glad we chose someone professional with so much experience, it made everything run smoothly. Absolutely Amazing!!

From Day One we've had the best experience with Craig! His amazing response time and attention to detail is top notch. Throughout the entire planning process he was there to answer any questions we had and was always extremely helpful!

The day of the ceremony he kept us and our guests both laughing and crying and made the ceremony so special. Everything was perfect and we could not imagine anyone else for our day!

Best officiant you won’t be disappointed!!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for officiating our wedding! We could not have picked a better officiant.
We truly could not recommend Craig more! He was a dream to work with and everything you would want for an officiant. The ceremony he made for us was incredibly beautiful, and we will remember it fondly for the rest of our lives. He personalized our ceremony, adding in many details that were unique to us. Our families even raved about ceremony days after our wedding, and they were in tears by the end of it. Craig was quick to respond to our requests, happy to meet in person, uplifting, positive, a great speaker, and above all, he was incredibly calm and professional. I would give Craig more than 5 stars if I could! Trust me, it would be a big blessing to have Craig do your ceremony!

Amazing intimate ceremony planning and venue, stress free!

I booked Carriage Lane Elopements about 1.5 months before our ceremony. Both Lisa and Craig were easy and great to work with. We wanted a stress free experience, and that's what we got. The venue also looks even better than the photos! I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an intimate ceremony experience. Thanks again, Lisa and Craig!

Craig is the best!

Craig was incredible. He went above and beyond when responding to any questions or concerns, and made us feel that he cared and we were in good hands. He was relaxed, (which made us feel relaxed on a day that was full of nerves!) and he was kind, patient and the entire ceremony was perfect, everything he said, and his demeanor. Craig is a true professional and we couldn't have asked for anyone better on our special day. We were very lucky to have found him. Thank you x million Craig!
