The Eddie Hotel & Farm is a historic wedding venue located in Bloomfield, Ontario. This picturesque property is nestled in the heart of Prince Edward County and spans 78 acres. It features an 1860's inn and historic red barn that includes several rustic and charming ceremony and reception spaces. The venue’s beautiful buildings and dedicated staff are here to create an unforgetable wedding for you and your guests.
Facilities and Capacity
The uniquely well preserved buildings at The Eddie, some of them dating back to the 1860's, are a prime example of Loyalist architecture. The main house features a red brick exterior and vintage interior design. The dining room, with with original crown moulding and 12' ceilings, can accommodate up to 20 guests for dinners or up to 50 for cocktail receptions on the ground floor of the house.
Couples hosting their ceremony on-site can choose to tie the knot in the venue’s scenic locations. The Pond offers a waterfront view and is a tranquil spot for romantic vows. Alternately, the Sheep Shed is a rustic covered space with a history beginning in the 1920s offering an excellent option for rainey days. We also offer water front weddings across teh street.
After the ceremony, newlyweds and guests can retire to the Red Barn, an Instagram-worthy backdrop for the reception. Spacious enough for celebrations of 165 guests, the barn can accommodate dining and dancing. With its 50-foot high ceilings, and it's classically elegant red exterior, with landscaped gardens, make the ideal setting for an unfortgetable weddin.
Services Offered
The Eddie Hotel & Farm offers a number of services to assist engaged couples with the wedding planning experience. Their expert events team can provide planning services so soon-to-be newlyweds can fully avail of the property’s facilities. The on-site shop, Nellie’s Cheese and Party Shop has everything you need for your event from name cards, and decor to cheese and charcuterie.
Accommodation
Newlyweds can spend a romantic wedding night in the hotel, which can accommodate up to 20 guests. The main house and carriage house feature overnight guest rooms with cozy and comfortable amenities. With indoor and outdoor facilities, couples and their nearest and dearest are sure to enjoy this property. The wedding party can also use the overnight suites as dressing rooms to prepare for the festivities.
