Weddings by Francesca is a wedding officiant service based in Colborne, Ontario. Owner and lead celebrant Reverend Francesca is proud to marry all couples and believes love is love including to her LGBTQQIP2SAA community.

Reverend Francesca Schettini is a dedicated and compassionate officiant with a deep commitment to creating meaningful and personalized ceremonies for individuals and couples. With a background as a Minister and a passion for uniting people in love and celebration, she brings a unique and heartfelt touch to every ceremony she officiates.

SERVICES

As a Certified Reverend, Officiant and Minister, Francesca can preside over weddings for a whole host of couples. She can perform many different ceremonies. Rev. Francesca also offers rehearsals and suggests that all couples take advantage of this opportunity to go through the process and logistics of the day prior. Francesca's well-crafted ceremony should not only celebrate the love between two people but also inspire and touch the hearts of those in attendance.

Weddings by Francesca's ceremonies range from 20-minute ceremonies, 30-minute ceremonies, and in-depth ceremonies. What's more, Francesca's certifications in Wedding/Event Planning as well as designer background means that she can also provide planning + coordination services, ideal for enhancing once-in-a-lifetime occasions.

Personable with special touches

We cannot recommend Francesca enough ! She was personable right from the start and it felt like such a good fit. She told our story so nicely, wrote our vows for us and our guests loved the personal, heartfelt tou he’s throughout the ceremony. Francesca was great with my family and even the 5 little nephews at rehearsal and kept us all going. She checked on me and made me feel calm before I walked down the aisle. Look no further !!

People thought she was family!

Francesca’s ceremonies are so personal and emotional. We had so many comments after the ceremony regarding how much they loved her - she was funny, and emotional, personal, and confident. People asked if she was a family member or family friend. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we as a couple felt supported. We had some unique requests and she completely accommodated for us. We had another small hiccup with our ceremony time and she was there to offer solutions immediately. We highly recommend her!!

Landside Wedding, Best Day!

A huge thank you to Francesca for such a wonderful experience! Francesca is not just a reverend, she was a huge help the whole day with the day before rehearsal and day of scheduling. My stress was taken away the moment we met with Francesca as she took control and was able to have our whole bridal party's attention which was tough as we had over 20 people and 4 kids. The day of was so perfect, and Francesca's words of wisdom were amazing and with just meeting her the day before she knew Jake and I! We had so many comments about how amazing she was and how she made the day so perfect! We can't thank Francesca enough for making our love story so amazing! :)

Magical day to remember forever!

We feel extremely lucky to have had Francesca officiate our wedding! She was extremely professional and kind from our first meeting all the way to standing with her at the alter. We very much appreciate her calmness and reassurance that helped with those pre-ceremony jitters! Francesca helped make our wedding incredibly special with her sentiments and humour. As a same-sex couple, Francesca went above and beyond to help make our special day incredibly heartfelt and memorable!

The loveliest officiant there is!

Francesca made our day amazing! From start to finish she was responsive, respectful and kind. As an LGBTQ couple it was really important to us that we found an officiant who was not just inclusive ‘on paper’ but who was so in practice - this IS Francesca. Right from the start Francesca was supportive, accepting and respectful, she made us feel at home and fostered trust and comfort. She was thorough in gaining understanding about what was important to us, what we wanted to have included in our special day, and what we didn’t. Our wedding day was perfect and Francesca really set the stage for how the rest of the day played out. She is professional and experienced and it shows in her ability to create and present and beautiful wedding ceremony!

Substitute Officiant

I booked with Francesca ages before my wedding, signed the contract and had a wonderful conversation vis phone with her. I immediately felt at home and comfortable with her. Shortly before the wedding, I received an email that another couple changes their wedding time and bumped my husband and I from having Francesca as our officiant. I was upset as this was against the contract, and I felt pushed aside and it did not sit well. This is my only negative, as the officiant Francesca bumped us to was AMAZING!

Bianca was so friendly and bubbly with my husband and I leading up to the wedding. She sent us a few scripts to start the process off, we asked to add a little sprinkle of religion back into the ceremony and she was please and accommodating! She was wonderful the day of, and we had a microphone mishap and Bianca played it off like a pro! We loved her so much!

Highly recommend

Our experience with Francesca was amazing...we would recommend her to anyone who wants their wedding day to run as smooth as possible!! From our weekly check-in calls to the day-of-coordination, it was apparent that Francesca had a lot of experience in the industry which eased our nerves. We also had Francesca do florals for our wedding and they were stunning!! We were blown away with the floral arrangements and we received so many compliments from our guests.
Francesca cares a lot about her clients and will work hard to make your wedding dreams a reality. Would highly recommend Francesca to anyone looking to eliminate the stress of wedding planning and co-ordinating the day!

Hey there!

It's me Reverend Francesca. Thought I would jump in and introduce myself since you decided to visit my page! I thank you and appreciate you!

For those who don't know me, I have been in the industry for 20 years now.🥂 I started as a wedding planner and day of coordinator, then adding designing and florals to the mix with styling. And lastly became a Reverend in 2020. Time flies when you are having fun!

I now focus on Officiating and Partial Planning and truly am enjoying this chapter in my life. I have been married to my soul mate for 25 years and have a wonderful daughter who truly keeps me humble and on my toes! I love spending time with them creating incredible memories and traveling! We also have our fur baby "Paws" who is a tuxedo cat with his own personality and agenda. LOL he is a little bugger I tell you! Which pet isn't, right!

Laslty, I have been helping our communities thrive for as long as I can remember, volunteering for great causes and charities which really gives me another purpose to smile about, helping those in need. 😘
