So so happy with Matt and Steel City Sound

We worked with Matt from Steel City Sound for our wedding last weekend and are so so thrilled. From the start he was communicative, personable, professional, and reliable. He worked us in determining our timeline for our reception, made custom edits of our first dance song, kept everything moving on schedule as our MC and was communicative with us leading up to and through the big day !! Our guests had a fabulous time, he kept the dance floor full and we could not have been happier with his services!! Not a single complaint or suggestion - if you’re on the fence, look no further and book with Steel City, you won’t be disappointed.

Best Vendor of the night!

We hired Steel City Sound for our wedding; Matt was so helpful, well prepared, thorough and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make sure our night was going smoothly, checking in to make sure everything was taken care of! As our DJ and MC Matt absolutely nailed it, Steel City Sound is the best of the best. Our guests danced the night away!!

Awesome, arrived early, neat and tidy, kept the party going! Communication was awesome!

Matt was wonderful to work with for our wedding! He was always checking in to see if everything was running smoothly and if we wanted to hear any certain songs! He was great at getting the party started and keeping them going! I would definitely recommend him for any event you have! He is also priced very well for what he brings for you event!

Steel City Sound helped make our wedding perfect!

Steel City Sound (Matt) DJ'ed our wedding in August 2022 and he was INCREDIBLE! Matt was organized and professional from the very first conversation, and his packages are incredibly well priced. Music was very important to us, and he listened patiently to all of our requests, "do-not play" list, and kept the dance floor full the entire night. Matt also acted as our MC and everyone loved him! He was also able to do a second set-up for our ceremony so we could have music as guests arrived. Our day would not have been the perfect day it was without Matt! Oh, and did I mention this was all done outdoors, with limited power supply, AND under our tent? He nailed it! Hire him!

Best DJ Ever!!!

Matt was so incredible to work with! He totally understood the vibe we wanted at our wedding and catered to our tastes as well as our guests tastes! He was able to create an incredible atmosphere that encouraged everyone to get up and dance. We had a last up until the very end!! You will not be disappointed!

Unforgettable

Steel City Sound did not disappoint! From the planning to the day of, Matthew and his team made our wedding a night to remember. Matthew is very personable, organized and client focused. We found Steel City online when we were initially looking for a DJ for our wedding- no prior knowledge of them before we chose them. Leading up to the wedding, Matthew had met with us a couple times via phone call and email. He used a simple and accessible shared document for us to chip away at our evening/dance plan. This was a major plus! We loved being able to work away and plug in the information at our own pace.
Gordon was our DJ the day of. Needless to say, Gordon knows how to read a room and keep the crowd engaged and on the dance floor. We’ve had many guests say this was the most they have ever danced at a wedding before. Gordon did an amazing job mixing a variety of Disco Polo music into the evening too. The night would not have been the same without him. We had such a blast with Gordon. We would recommend Steel City, you will not be disappointed 😊

Steel City Sound - Honestly the BEST!

What can we say about Matt from Steel City Sound other than he was nothing short of amazing! He was our DJ and MC at our wedding, and we cannot be more thankful! He did an exceptional job of getting our guests up and dancing the entire night! His music choices were on point, and everyone was on the dance floor right up until the very last song ended! We had so many guests comment on how incredible our DJ was! We will without a doubt always recommend Matt and his team for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, whatever you need a DJ for! This was a night that we will never forget and Matt had a big part in it. Thank you so much Steel City Sound!

Fantastic DJ team!

We chose Steel City Sound as our DJ vendor for both our stag and doe and our wedding. We worked with Matt on the planning side and Gordon on the DJ side and they were both awesome to work with. Matt is super professional, detail oriented and made it easy to get a sense of how our day would flow. And Gordon was just awesome - he made sure all the right people were present for our speeches, was a fantastic MC, and played a variety of music to make sure everyone had a great time. So many of our wedding guests commented on how great he was, and we couldn’t agree more! Thank you Steel City Sound!!
