I'm Joe Seyler, and I'm the person who will actually be at your wedding. Not a name assigned off a roster. Me.
I'm based in Burlington and I work across Southern Ontario, including Hamilton, Cambridge, Niagara, Guelph, Mississauga and Toronto. I'm a host and MC who also DJs, which is a different job than a DJ who takes the microphone. During planning I learn your story. On the night, I tell it back to the room.
Every wedding I take includes ceremony audio, cocktail hour and reception. You get a private planning portal, a timeline we build together, coordination with your other vendors, and a full review three weeks out so nothing is left to guess at on the day.
I've worked at Burlington Golf & Country Club, Spencer's at the Waterfront, The Pearle Hotel & Spa, Paletta Mansion, Royal Botanical Gardens, Peller Estates, Pillar & Post, White Oaks, Inn on the Twenty, Honsberger Estate and Club Roma, and I've hosted Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Serbian, Croatian, Greek, Indian and Egyptian weddings.
My rating is 5.0 across more than 50 reviews on Google, WeddingWire and Facebook.
I book one wedding a day. If your date is open, I'd like to sit down with you and talk it through. There's no charge for that conversation and no pressure at the end of it.

Meet the team
Hi, I'm Joe, owner of The Sounds DJ Services & Entertainment.
I started DJing on cassette decks at elementary school dances and I've been at it for over 30 years. What kept me in it isn't the music. It's people. I like being part of nights that families talk about for decades.
When I'm not working you'll find me on a baseball diamond, deep in an audiobook, or cooking something I probably should have looked up first.
Here's how I work. From the day you book, you have your own planning portal, so everything lives in one place and we build it together. By the week of your wedding, you already know exactly how the night runs. On the day, I'm fully present, reading the room and guiding the energy, whether that means honouring a tradition properly or getting three generations onto the floor at once.
If that sounds like the right fit, let's talk. Coffee or a video call, whichever is easier.
