The Tempered Room catered our wedding in June 2019. Food was one of our top priorities as we had many guests travelling a long way. We wanted to serve them a delicious meal that included local ingredients, rather than standard "wedding food". The Tempered Room exceeded our expectations in every way possible.

From the start, they were incredibly easy to work with, providing a detailed quote and clear contract. They worked with us to design our menu, using their catering menu as a starting point and personalizing it to our tastes. We were very impressed with the creativity of the menu and the variety of selections available, including many options for various dietary restrictions.

Sara was very flexible and responsive during the planning process, hosting us for a tasting at the restaurant, coordinating all of our rentals, answering any/all questions we had and meeting with us a few times in the months leading up to the wedding to iron out all of the details.

We also ordered lunch for the Bridal Party to be delivered to the house where we were getting ready. After this amazing lunch, the Bridal Party was eagerly anticipating what would be served for dinner! In particular, the chocolate chia seed puddings looked like a work of art and tasted incredible.

Our guests are still raving about the variety of passed canapés served during the cocktail hour. The staff kindly saved a plate for the bride and groom to eat when we returned to the cocktail hour after getting our photos taken. The dinner was equally delicious and included an heirloom tomato salad and choice of a few entrees. The plating was stunning and added to the impact of the meal. Finally, we had a selection of tacos served as a late-night snack and they were exactly the right thing at the right time.

The servers were incredibly professional and considerate to all of our guests. We appreciated that they made sure we got to try everything, even as we were busy entertaining our guests and enjoying ourselves.

We were absolutely thrilled with the Tempered Room and can't thank Chef Greg, Sara and the rest of the team enough for their incredible work.
